We have been working with the Internet from the very beginning. That was around 1975 when Bill Gates founded Microsoft. Back then, from anywhere in the world!, web design plus search engine optimization was unheard of! These days we specialize in search friendly CMS (Content Management System) websites. I consider honesty important when selecting any service. I am wary of businesses that exaggerate their level or length of experience. As a point of reference, It is highly unlikely this business has worked with the internet since the beginning. While the early internet did begin in the 60s, it was not commercialized until the 90s. Any experience with the internet prior to that would more likely apply to network engineering, network routing, and UNIX.
The claim referring to Microsoft being founded in 1975 is misleading, insofar as it relates to "web design". Microsoft had little to do with the Internet until support was added in the 90s. Experience with Microsoft prior to then could, however, apply towards general Computer or Network Consulting.
Generally the only type of experience prior to the 90s that is applicable is either some kind of artistic design or marketing. In some cases general business and decision consulting is applicable, helping clients to focus on how to align any internet use or publication with their core business/principles.
If you choose this company, I would consider asking for samples and/or references. If they have been in business since 1975 they should have many.
