Couldn"t have gone better!  I was at their mercy and all I had to do was pay the basic flat rate.

The provider was one we hadn't met before. Because we keep having the thermostat problem over and over he decided to fix it once and for all by adding a wire through the household wiring instead of the previous quick and dirty add-a-wire fix. He was also personable and appeared kind-hearted. When you get older you realize that people tend to see you as an easy mark and I didn't feel that way with him.

During a relentless triple-digit heat wave, my wall air conditioner died, so I called an air conditioning company to obtain an estimate for some sort of air conditioning. They were so busy It would be a week before they could even come out to give me an estimate. At this point I called Schaef-Air, who even though they were working overtime, sent their representative Doug out that afternoon. Even though it was extremely hot in my house, Doug patiently listened to my concerns, went over the options available to me, thoroughly explained the product, and answered all my questions. He made no attempt to hard sell or over sell, which really impressed me. At all times, he was professional, very knowledgeable, honest, and courteous.



A week later, David and his crew installed the Mitsubishi Mr. Slim. They arrived exactly on time and went right to work. It took them just five hours to complete the job, which consisted of the outside unit and three inside units. At all times they were professional, knowledgeable and very courteous. Not only did they install the equipment, they also painted the metal pieces which cover the refrigerant and electrical lines so that they match the color of the house. See picture below.



I would also add that Teresa, who works in the office, was friendly and professional as she patiently answered my phone calls and numerous questions. It takes a special kind of person to remain professional and patient with customers when there are a ton of people calling and asking for service. Thank you, Teresa, for your patience and for always following through.



The Mr. Slim has made a tremendous difference in my home. Now instead of having one moderately cool room, my entire house is very comfortable. The three indoor units are cooling even the rooms where there are no a/c units. In addition to that, so far my electricity bill has been less since Mr. Slim was installed so I am cooler and paying less for it.



I am very satisfied with my experience with Schaef-Air and definitely recommend them for any air conditioning/heating jobs.

My experience overall went excellently. He is very professional and friendly. He is also very responsive and punctual and lets you know when he is coming ahead of time. The pricing is reasonable. I would highly recommend him to others.

David and his people were proffessional and competent. They showed up on time in mass, completed the job quickley and neatly. They tested the system showed me how to use it and even painted the gutters that were installed on the outside of the house so they didn't stick out. I recommend Schaef AIR for any HVAC requirements. I might also mention that Justin upon initial review of the installation plan found and implemented improvements on the product positioning that made things look better in the room and I believe will make the overall performance of the system better.
