A year prior we had them install a sliding glass patio door and we were pleased with the quality and service. In December 2010 they offered to provide an estimate to replace all 22 windows. We found their estimate to be very competitive for such high quality windows, which were made to order. They were installed two weeks later in a day and a half by a three man crew. They were very professional, and respectful of our home, making sure that they cleaned up thoroughly. Very pleased with the quality, service, and price. Highly recommend the manufacturer (Anlin) and their installer Northwest Exteriors.

They are licensed and insured. Our neighbor used them and they were very satisfied with the installation. They've been very good. They also did a sliding patio door for us a few years ago. They were reasonable and did very quality work and since our neighbors were also very satisfied we decided to use them again. They are very professional and I expect the installation to go quite well. The installation of the patio door was excellent, they had good quality materials and both the sales person and installer were very professional. I think the competitive pricing also helped us decide to use them again as well as the fact that they use one of the highest quality for their materials out there. They were very punctual and I would recommend them to others.

Overall we couldn't be happier with our upgraded home. The professionals we dealt with from Northwest were the best. They were eager to know if there was anything that they could do to make something better and we should not hesitate to call if we saw anything that needed to be corrected.

They came in 10% less than anyone I priced. They were in and out head of schedule. They did not damage anything, and it was very quick process.

I chose this company because the handled the brand of window that I wanted to install. They had to order the windows and they called us when they were in. It took them one day to do the work. The installation went well.

They came out and gave us a free estimate. After we chose them to do the work, they came out again and measured once more. Three weeks later, they made an appointment to install them. It took two days to install everything. They were very quick, professional and courteous. They cleaned up after themselves. They were very helpful and informative about how to use and maintain our new windows. We were completely satisfied with their work and would recommend this company to others.

I only had one problem with the work, but they were very prompt in taking care of it. They were very efficient, and they were in and out very quick.

They didn't show up when they were supposed to. The project manager told me that the company that makes the doors and the laminate had a fire and couldn't get the doors done in time. I emailed the company there was no fire. They ordered the wrong materials. I ordered the doors and drawers with finger pulls instead of handles and when they came without, I was told that Northwest would just route the finger pulls and then paint the doors. These were foil wrapped doors. They would have ruined them. The laminate didn't match the doors and drawers and the seams and edges were chipped and didn't match or weren't where they naturally should have been. They left a hot wire under our sink. They charged us twice for a French door they never installed. The countertop was a total disaster. It was scratched and chipped and parts were installed upside down. A representative from Dupont said it was so bad it had to be completely replaced. In short it was HORRIBLE!
Response from Northwest Exteriors
"The work done at this house was not perfect unfortunately, but we would have gladly repaired the problems. The customer however was exteremely difficult to work with and would not allow us to complete the job and NEVER paid us for the work that we did complete. Congratulations to Member for getting a free kitchen remodel and then complaining about it."

I faxed over our window dimensions after talking with Cheryl on the phone and received a estimate via fax within 1 hour. Once we decided to have Northwest install the windows, I called on Monday, a representative measured the windows and ordered the new windows on Tuesday. I received a phone call 9 days later advising me that the windows were in and installation was scheduled for the following Monday. The installer verified the window measurements prior to install and discovered that two of the windows were the wrong size. He immediately called Northwest, the correct sized windows were ordered that day. We discovered that the wiring for our alarm system had not been connected properly on one window. This problem was resolved when the installer returned to install the correct size windows. I received a follow-up phone call about one week after the project was finished to find out if everything was OK. Very satisfied with service and follow-up.

The work crew arrived early and completed the work in 1 day instead of the 2 expected they did a good job and cleaned up well after themselves. They also replaced a defective kitchen window, they installed 10 years ago for free.

The project was a major undertaking. Mike Tecson responded quickly to our request for an estimate and gave solid, professional answers. He was always available for additional questions and never was pushy. We finally decided to give him the business because the price was competitive with the best other offer and even more important because we trusted him. The crew did a very good job in getting the old stuff out and the new doors/windows in. They responded well to our suggestion/requests while the job was done. Mike always followed up and made sure that things went smoothly. Service requests were satisfied without delay. According to the company's policy payment was made in one lump sum only after all things were really in order.

The only odd thing here is that most door companies do not do the painting, but, he actually had his wife come out and paint the door. She was really nice and did a good job. It was just weird. She however, did not paint the thresh holes, but, I am not one to yell. She gave me a hug and everything when she left. Just thought it was a little unprofessional. Other than that, everything went fine and I would rate them highly.

Removal/refacing of the cabinets started out well but when it was time for the appliances to be installed they had no one to complete. Northwest continued to send employees on several occasions who had NO experience or knowledge to be able to install a gas line, connect the necessary plumbing, install the range hood, and dishwasher! The granite was fabricated incorrectly and lead to a sink faucet search & compromise due to their error. We finally called the salesman to cancel the contract and he sent over a qualified professional. The range hood was never completed until they called a handyman from the phone book, leaving us to sign their contract and pay the bill for that expense. The backs of the sliding drawers started falling apart after a couple of months - turns out they forgot to glue all of them!

They were able to schedule the work two weeks after I signed the contract. The work went very smoothly. It took 2 guys 6 hours. They were on time, very neat (except for a bit of wood dust on surrounding furniture) and professional, and did excellent work. The door's great! The only negative is that they didn't have the keys to the deadbolt; the installer made a note of it on his report, but I had to call the company 3 weeks later; it's now over a month later and I still haven't gotten the keys (thus the "B" for responsiveness). The same company installed windows for me last year and I thought they did a great job. However, their prices have gone way up in the past year, as I'd gotten an estimate last year but waited on the door. Liked most: Good product & fast, neat, professional installation. Liked least: Significant price increase compared to last year. Surprises: They decided to position the door a little differently than expected, and now the doorstep doesn't match the opening.

They came on time for the estimate and for the installation. The installation was great and they cleaned up after the installation. The quality of the window is excellent. We were very happy with the result. Will probably use them again when we replace the window for the whole house.

The salesperson was very knowledgeable, friendly, and not pushy. We liked their product, Anlin Windows, better than other brands we saw. Their company had a clean record on BBB and the California licensing website. We asked them to rush the windows and they were able to get the windows in a few weeks and then install them immediately. The installation was clean and professional. They did nice work and cleaned up after it was over. We did have trouble removing a couple of screens after the installation. We contacted Northwest and they promptly addressed the problem. I would highly recommend or refer this company.

Carlos and his crew did a good job of installing the windows, one of which had been mismeasured and so had to be re-ordered, delaying completion of the work by about 2 weeks. One thing I liked about this company was that they asked for no payment until the job was done - no deposit, no interim payments. The mismeasuring SNAFU caused a slight glitch, in that they asked for payment of 90% after installing all but one window, with the remainder due when the last window was installed. This seemed reasonable to me so we did it that way. There was some minor cleanup to do after they left and some minor drywall damage but it looks like the drywall had been wet at some time which makes it crumbly anyway.

The salesman was a little pushy, using the old line, ''I can only offer this special price to you today. You have to accept the offer today.'' He was otherwise very professional. He spent a great deal of time showing us samples of the product and discussing installation. The installation went well overall. The crew could have been a little neater. I found several large shards of glass in the carpeting in a few of the rooms (some of the old windows broke when being removed). They also put a fairly large chip (the size of a half dollar) in one of my bathtubs. I would have been forgiving had they told me about it. I think they were hoping I wouldn't notice.

I was very happy with the installer that Northwest sent out to put in our replacement windows. He was very friendly, very skilled, and clean. He took the time to run to the lumberyard twice to get some wood for trim. If he is representative of their company, than I would recommended them.

Northwest Exteriors replaced several of my windows with plain glass and charged me for e-low dual pane windows. When I requested an order acknowledgement form for a rebate program I caught the error. At first the production manager refused to believe an error was made and has been completely unresponsive in assisting with correcting the erroneous work. I had to handle all correction requests directly through the window manufacturing company - even though the error occurred at the initial installation phase. It took 1.5 months to get the correct windows I paid for, and to this date I still have not received the required rebate paperwork on the replacement windows, nor have I been successful in getting a single return call from the production manager. Zero customer service offered for such a pricey product.

Northwest gave me a price, then work had to be postponed due to other contractor issues. They were wonderful to honor that same price 6 months later when I was ready to order and install. Installers were done in one day. They noticed one defective window and ordered warranty service before even telling me about it. They installed extra trim in my new construction window that I was not expecting, then came back to take it out for me when I realized it would not work with my window coverings. Experience was a good one. It hasn't rained yet, so I cannot comment on that.

Northwest's quote was the lowest of four bids that I got. The people who came to provide the estimate, confirm measurements, and install were all punctual and courteous. (Custom sizes, so had to wait 6 weeks for them to make the windows.) The actual installation took only 3.5 hours and the two installers did a great job. Looks like a new house!

I HAD AN UNBELIEVABLY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY. THEY MISMEASURED AND THEY BROUGHT THE WRONG MATERIALS. THEY HAD NO EXPERIENCE IN THIS AREA. THEY LIED TO ME AND WERE NOT RESPONSIVE. WHAT SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ONE WEEK TOOK OVER TEN WEEKS.
