Had them out twice (once for each piece). They were on time, when they promised, and they did an outstanding job, even cleaning up the site afterwards.

A salesman came to our house and explained the window replacement process. He was very professional and knowledgeable. We went over financing options and installation dates. I needed the windows installed by June 1 and they delivered!! They spent two long days working on the house and got it done... clean-up and everything. The windows look great!

N.W. Exteriors was very responsive to our request for a bid. They provided all information necessary in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the company had minimal experience with the Certainteed Cedar Impressions siding that we wanted. Though they provided the low bid (out of 3) that we received, we decided to go with a company that had more recent experience and excellent reviews of their work on Angie's List.

I ordered the products above on 10-19-12 and the work wasn't completed until 4-25-13. In between those two dates, there was no communication from them as to why the products didn't arrive within the 4 week time period Mike, the salesperson, stated. I had to call them after I didn't hear anything. When they installed the products on the first attempt, the door had too many defects with it and the storm door was the wrong brand and model. After weeks of going back and forth with them and me calling Therma-Tru doors myself to verify what Orepac (this is the company Northwest used to assemble the Therma-Tru door I ordered) was telling me ( "the defects are normal for the style of door I ordered") , the door had to be redone. I thought it was strange that Northwest gave me Orepac's contact person and phone number to discuss the issues I was having with the door. I felt since Northwest sold me the service, it should've been them to call Orepac to advocate on my behalf . I haven't heard of customer's calling a company's vendors to discuss problems they are having with a product. Most of the communication was initiated by me to check the status on my order, Justin is who I mainly communicated with. On the second attempt to install the products I ordered...the Therma-Tru door wasn't perfect but at least wasn't as bad as the first door and the storm door was the right brand BUT the wrong model. My husband and I basically accepted what was delivered and installed because we just wanted the order to be closed and be done with. When I wrote the check, I gave myself a discount and said please call me if you feel this discount isn't justified. I didn't hear back from them. I was disappointed in the lack of communication in regards to the status of my order, me having to call Orepac and the time frame of which the order was completed. Unfortunately, I can not recommend this company to anyone.

NorthWest Exteriors was going door to door in our neighborhood. We needed some new windows. My husband was interested right from the start. I was more hesitant with a company that comes to your door. I was willing to meet with a salesman to get more information. He was very knowledgeable, arrived on time went over everything with us. We ordered two windows for our master bedroom with the etch detail. The price was right on. The installer was so neat. The window were on the second floor. There was no damage to the stucco of our house. Everything was cleaned up. It was wonderful. Then we heard about the patio door with the pet door. Just what we were looking for! Order one right away. It's great we love it. We can't believe the noise reduction. We will have NorthWest back to replace more windows. They are great. Highly recommend NorthWest.

The workman, Jeff, did a wonderful job and after completion, cleaned up the area so it didn't look like any work had been done at all. It was a big job for him as he had come from another job before mine and worked until well after 7:00pm. The only downside of this project was that when he was done he told me that he would have the company order another screen as something had cut the screen and that the one piece of glass would also be replaced as whatever cut the screen also scratched the glass. Several days later the company called to say that the glass and screen had been ordered and they would call to schedule an appointment for replacement. I am in the waiting game.

I contacted this company in October to have two windows replaced with Anlin windows. The estimator seemed to be too overworked to spend much time with us and did not give us a quote until we called him back several times. We were having our kitchen remodeled in January and I wanted the windows done in advance of the kitchen remodel. Needless to say, I made numerous calls throughout December and January to get this scheduled. I was told by Bill that he was trying to get the best stucco guys for our job since the replacement of the windows involved structural work on the house. The windows were put in during the kitchen remodel and then it took four weeks for the stucco to be fixed. Again I made numerous phone calls and finally called Anlin company directly since Northwest is the only installer of Anlin windows in the Sacramento area. At one point during this Bill went out of town and no one else could answer my question of when they would complete their work. The lack of communication from this company was appalling. Were it not for the fact that we wanted Anlin windows I would have used another company.

The specifications for the sunroom and cover for the deck were taken by a salesman and then the project manager said it wasn't doable. They ruined the deck with cement dust and wouldn't do anything about it. When it came time to build the sunroom, it was just one man who did do a good job. The rest of the company was more interested in getting there money. Unfortunately, we financed it through them so they got paid even before they were finished.

The Salesman came to my home, did some basic measurements, and discussed needs and project objectives. He provided a written quote to me before he left the home. The quote was reasonable as I had also recieved a quote from a window installation competitor that was well rated in Angie's List and another customer experience website (rhymes with Kelp). I chose Northwest Exterior because the window they suggested had slighlty better product specifications and installation and product warranty than window product line suggested by a competing window company. A few days later, Northwest sent a technician to measure the requirements for windows. I manufacturer produced the custom windows within two weeks. Northwest called me and let me know the windows were available. We scheduled installation a few days after the phone call. The installation crew was courteous, timely, did a fine installation job, ad was very neat. They took all the old windows and were at al times very professional. I would definitely recommend.

We got 3 bids during the process. The sales representative who is the brother of the owner was terrific to work with. He represented his company and the product without putting down the competition. I also met the owner at their show room. I was impressed with the knowledge of their products, craft, and the pride in their company and work. They did a terrific job. The windows are of high quality. The workmanship was a high quality (the new windows and sliders look great!). The men that installed the windows were professional and cleaned up after all their work, including taking down and putting all the blinds back up (except one, which we needed to replace). Except for the windows, it didn't appear anyone had been here working all day. It was two men and they took all day to complete the work. Bonus was that we were having a party to celebrate my son's 2nd birthday on Saturday. They were kind enough to move quickly to get the windows ordered and installed before hand. It was approximately 4 weeks from signing the contract to getting the windows installed.

I would rate them highly, and I would use them again in the future if I needed to.

Overall, the job was well done, completed in a timely manner, and professional by the installers from start to finish. This job was the result of a cold-calling neighborhood sweep by Northwest Exteriors. Because my husband and I were planning on replacing our windows, the timing was perfect. The price was slightly more than we had hoped for but this price was for full replacement rather than retrofit. We decided to replace because of concerns for possible dry rot within the frames. The crew showed up on time on March 1, but because we were experiencing heavy rain, we agreed to postpone until Saturday. Again they showed on time and got to work promptly. There were about seven men and they knew exactly what they were doing. No goofing off or confusion. Old windows went out and new ones came in. All the furniture was covered as well as walkways. At the end of the job, they took all debris out and vacuumed! My only issue with Northwest Exteriors were promises made by the salesman. The salesman promised his firm would pull a permit in advance of installation. When the crew arrived, we asked for the permit and they knew nothing about it. We tried to reach the salesman but he directed us to the office, which we found was closed on Saturday. When we called him back, he said he was out with his son and couldn't do anything about it. An apology would have been nice. On Monday, after a couple of phone calls, we were assured we would have the promised permit, which we got about a week later.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO BE THE VERY BEST AT WHAT THEY DO. WHEN POSSIBLE, I WILL HAVE THEM DO MORE WORK I.E. SIDING. YOU WILL NOT REGRET HIRING THEM.I have had substantial work done on my house over the past 15 years. It is an older home built in 1949. My windows were so damaged, I just couldn't face trying to get a decent paint job again (if that were even possible). I had an estimate done several months ago;however, I told the company that I was not in a position to do the work at that time. They respected that and did not hound me. When I finally had the money together, I asked for a new estimate as I decided to do all the windows, including the wrap on the frames. I ultimately decided on the medium priced windows, single hung that enable me to tilt them for cleaning. You must understand, I am very particular when it comes to windows. Why do people build or buy beautiful homes and install track type windows with the ever present mullion. I did not want to change the integrity of my home. I cannot say enough about the windows (which were custom made in Clovis by Anlin, my sales rep, the installers, a truly professional caring group. I am pleased way beyond my expectations. The wrap even includes the original curvature of the frames. Some windows look totally out of place on a house, these do not. NOT ALL REPLACEMENT WINDOWS OR INSTALLERS ARE CREATED EQUAL - NORTHWEST EXTERIORS IS A TRUE GEM!!!!!

I spent $18000 on that service. They came in two different groups, one for the siding, and one for the windows. The windows went in first and there were 4 men that came out for that. One of them worked on the patio door, one on the bay window, one worked on the kitchen window and the fourth man did the regular windows. It was smooth as silk and they got right to it and had it done in no time. The second part of the work was the siding on the front and was similar. They came in 4 guys that worked throughout the day and had it done in one day. They were courteous and very well organized.

Rick had replaced 3 previous windows and a slider and this time we had him replace the rest of the windows. The Kitchen window was a non-standard size. Screens included. Both jobs took about 6 hours. This job there was one guy. The previous job with the slider window was 2 guys. Guys were professional and clean, didn't leave any stuff laying around (we have little ones in the house and didn't want any accidents). Anlin brand windows. Dramatically reduce heating in our living room (west facing) and also cut-down on our road noise. Windows are great and I'd hire them again!

I originally called the Sacramento office for a sales person who came out and gave an estimate. Since he did not follow through on references, I called the SANTA ROSA office and they sent JESSE who came out to do another estimate. I was thrilled with his service and info and patience to all my questions and concerns. I agreed to install their Anlin windows. Jesse set up the entire process, sending me a great person to do the final measurements, plus I had Peter and Peter ( father and son) installers who were wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about these installers: prompt, quality oriented, and even cared about where I would put the cats to keep them safe and away from the noise! So far, the window are great!! JESSE also followed through on the info I gave him about the pet door I wanted installed on the slider and found out Northwest will install that when it arrives. Overall, I had interviewed several companies for this project and am very glad I chose Northwest. Jesse knew I was an nervous customer about doing home improvements and having quality people work on my home, and he was completely cooperative and accommodating throughout the entire project.

They were fast, efficient, clean, and friendly. They did what they said they would do. The windows look great.

The estimator had a very elaborate presentation where he showed me different brands of windows (i.e. Home Depot/Lowe's standard windows) and identified the different characteristics between the Anlin windows and everything else. He even held up a heat lamp and showed me a temperature gauge that shows how much heat is transferred through an aluminum window, a generic vinyl window, and an Anlin window. It was remarkable how different the windows were! I did a lot of research on different window manufacturers but it's a little easier to decipher the difference in person rather than on a website. For someone who doesn't have air conditioning, it was important that the windows we bought be high quality and thermally efficient. I didn't want to buy a cheap window to still be hot in my house during summer and just to pay the same amount of heating costs in the winter. Besides providing a nifty and knowledgeable demo of the product and comparisons of other competitors, he walked around the house and helped recommend the type of windows he thought would increase air flow throughout the house as well as for privacy and aesthetics. For example, we ended up changing a few windows from XO to OX so they opened for better air flow, he helped me pick out what style of obscure glass for the bathroom, and he also helped me determine if I'd stay with the original design of colonial grids or more contemporary non-gridded windows. Although the price of the Anlin windows were more expensive than the other quotes we got...one was from WindowMax ($11,000) who went out of business and seemed very shady....and as windows are a one-time investment into the overall improvement of the home and its value, we went with Northwest Exteriors and the Anlin window. The installation was quick and the workers were very professional. They did an outstanding job with removing the old windows, installing the new ones, caulking, cleaning all the windows, and picking up the mess when done. I highly recommend Northwest Exteriors for outstanding pricing, quality, and service!

Started off a little shakey. Salesman designed patio cover that engineer stated could not be possible. Engineer re-designed and everything turned out fine.

First contact was made at the Home & Garden Show at Cal Expo. Very friendly conversation with Colin who set up an estimate appointment. Scott arrived on time, measured windows & patio door. Gave estimates for 3 different window brands. Prices were very competitive - was our second choice. Would certainly consider them for any future work. They also have a showroom where you can see their products.

I received an estimate from Northwest Exteriors, The sales reps and the ones that answered the phone was very gracious and considerate. Although we did not purchase at that time we will most definitely use them in the future for all our home improvement needs. The Rep that came out was very knowledgeable and gave us his honest opinion on how to move forward with our home improvements when we do decide to proceed with them. Would recommend them to all i know and will most definitely be doing business with them in the future.

They were very responsive and very professional. They were punctual most of the time. The estimate was for about $10,000. The sales rep was very knowledgeable. He took the time to explain everything about the windows, the dimensions, and the price. It was very detailed. He helped us out pretty good. The customer service people in the office also helped us very well. It was a very pleasant experience.

A year prior we had them install a sliding glass patio door and we were pleased with the quality and service. In December 2010 they offered to provide an estimate to replace all 22 windows. We found their estimate to be very competitive for such high quality windows, which were made to order. They were installed two weeks later in a day and a half by a three man crew. They were very professional, and respectful of our home, making sure that they cleaned up thoroughly. Very pleased with the quality, service, and price. Highly recommend the manufacturer (Anlin) and their installer Northwest Exteriors.

Their pricing was very competitive. The sales person came out and they were right on time. They looked at the windows, measured, and gave me a detailed estimate right on the spot. A week later a second person came out, also right on time, and did the measurements for ordering the windows and made sure everything was accurate. They were very professional. They scheduled the install to be sometime before the end of the month and we are already doing the install this week. The windows came in quicker than expected from the manufacturer so they are ready to install. I don't expect anything different than a good experience from them.
