Highest Recommendation! We just had them install a new 4 ton HVAC and retro fit vinyl windows/slider door. Great service from Rep Scott Herold (contact him directly 916-956-2788) to measuring people to installers. Thank you Scott Herold, Skip Hunter, Mike, Bill, Clint, Chris, Jeff and all those behind the scenes who were a part of the projects. Obviously, there has been a misunderstanding between Northwest and yourself. Looking at the pictures taken from an odd angle, it is hard to see your complaint. However poor communication lends itself to a perception/expectation issue. Then everyone "digs" in. It is never the intention of Northwest to provide anything less than exemplary service and in this case the "perception" is that we did not. Northwest could contest many of your points, but ultimately we have a "he said, he said" situation. In the future we will make sure that what we explain to a client is what they understand. I was told by the installer who called the office that he was going to take pictures to show the building inspector. Sacramento Building Inspector does not accept pictures, so I have to travel 100 miles round trip to be there so the trim can be ripped off, inspected, put back on, caulked again and inspected again. This is not acceptable to me. Further, I asked a staff member to find out if the Inspector would accept the pictures before having to make two 100 mile trips and he did not get back to me with the information.

I am going to do some investigating, but that doesn't help with spending that much time in a car. It sounds like the building inspector requirements got confused (each jurisdiction have their own idiosyncrasies). He cleaned the wheels and that helped but later I cleaned the track and removed compacted dirt. That made a much larger difference.

We really researched and had about five bids. I kept returning to Northwest Exteriors as Scott McKinistry in Sales had the most educational demonstration of windows samples and he took his time to explain both the windows and the installation process.
We visited the show room in Rancho Cordova and got a different idea about slider doors vs. French doors. It was worth the visit, as more competitive bidders' products were not as high quality.
The installation went great -- it took a little more than two days due to the French door installation. The whole project went very well and we are thrilled with the windows. I highly recommend Northwest Exteriors.

I hired Northwest Exteriors to replace 12 windows and 2 sliding patio doors. Total cost was a bit more expensive than some of the other quotes I received, but the Anlin products that were installed are exceptional quality. I was very pleased with the experience from start to finish. My windows look great and the warranty from Northwest Exteriors is a plus. I will definitely contact the company for other work in the future.

It went very smooth. The workers were all very professional, courteous and helpful. They did excellent quality work and in fact the painting contractor who followed asked me who had installed the siding because he said they did excellent work and he would like to recommend them. I have hired many contractors over the years and Northwest Exteriors was absolutely the best in terms of quality, responsiveness and price.

The two installers arrived at 9:00 on Monday. They were efficient and did a very good job. They cleaned up after themselves and stayed busy the entire time they were at our house. One of the workers was a real perfectionist, and he policed the work of the other person pretty closely to make sure everything looked perfect. They hauled away all the old windows.
The windows are beautiful, and the sound blocking is really great. It did, however, make us aware of how leaky our doors are because any air or sound comes in only through them now. Next up, new doors!
I highly recommend these installers and the windows. We are very pleased with them both.

I am very happy with the windows Northwest Exteriors installed. The process was fairly painless from the initial sales appointment (with moderate sales pressure - nothing out of the ordinary for this type of project) to the install. They completed the installation in one day and worked very efficiently. The crew was friendly and polite, and they were very careful to put down tarps and take off shoes when working in the house. They cleaned up pretty well at the end of the day; the inside of the house was very clean and there were only a few scraps and minimal stepped-on landscaping outside. I have been extremely happy with the windows over the last year with noticeable improvements in temperature inside the house, and the windows open and close easily. The bay windows are beautiful.
