The work wa excellent.. There was one minor issue with some scheduling. The owner of the store personally came out to apologize and ensure what needed to be done was accomplished. I was very impressed with his commitment to customer satisfaction

My time is valuable, and yours probably is too. If you don't want to schedule an appointment, rearrange your schedule so you can potentially spend thousands on windows and then have the window representative leave you sitting there at your home, wondering what happened -- with no explanation or apology -- stay away from this contractor and go with somebody who will respect your time.

It was very good. They came in on the estimate. It was the price that they quoted. The doors are gorgeous and they were very pleasant to work with. The product was beautiful. A neighbor down the street recommended them to us. They had their doors installed and we saw their doors and started talking to them about them. Word is going around. When they see your door, they just come up and ask. A lot of people might not want to use the product because it is an expensive door. The kind that we used is not wood. It is a lot more expensive than most people would probably want to pay, but it is absolutely a stunning door. They have all different kinds of doors. We happened to choose an expensive door. We knew it was expensive but it was what we wanted. They have a range of products, not just the one we chose.

It was excellent. We had a nice discount. The price was very reasonable and they did a wonderful job. They were very clean. Taking the windows out were pretty dusty and they vacuumed. I didn’t have any bad experience with them. They’re punctuality is better than the previous one.

Working with all the people at Halls was a pleasure as they were thorough professionals. The work that was done was a big undertaking as it required the removal of a window and replacing a six foot slider door with a 12 foot slider. It required the adding of a header and re-framing. All the sub-contractors that were part of the Hall's team were nice to work with. If there is a negative that i must point out - the job took longer than first estimated. Having said that, it is usually the nature of any construction job. While that was a nuisance, it wasn't a big issue as the job was completed to my satisfaction. I would definitely recommend Halls Window to anyone who is considering replacing or adding new windows and doors. I would hire Halls if they would work on bathrooms and kitchens however, unfortunately they specialize in windows and doors.

They did the job, and we have great windows. They have a very high quality product, and we did our homework, and we were willing to pay the price.

They were exquisitely professional from the sales people. I have dealt with them 4-5 times and they are consistent. I get what I pay for. They follow thorough. For example, there was a small problem which they worked on and resolved it to my satisfaction in every aspect of working with them. Mr. Tony and Mr. Scarr who is also the owner were making personal visits to check the quality of the work of the employees.

A representative came out to my house and gave me some options. The prices were sky high. I got just as good a quality doors/windows from Lowes for half the price.

He was very professional and nice but we decided to go with a smaller mom and pop company. Their quote was around $3,600. They had two different selections. We got more than one estimate. They seemed to be a bigger company and I liked the family owned business. They did a really good job of presenting. We had actually put down a deposit because his sales pitch was so good. They honored their commitment to send me my money back if I contacted them within a certain amount of time when we decided to go with the other company. They were really good about that even though we had gone with a different company. They gave us our whole deposit back. They do other things too such as siding and guttering so we would possibly contact them in the future.

Verbal estimate and written estimate were very different ( to the tune of 40% difference). We asked for room by room break out if pricing, so we could prioritize where we wanted to spend our money, but we're not able to ever get this. Also asked for a quote for both motorized and none motorized options, and they had great difficulty doing this also. Really felt sketchy on pricing...and was not comfortable spending this type of money with a vendor that was do vague

I have two experiences with Halls. The first was a replacement of two sliding glass doors. I paid about 5K for two Anderson permashield doors. The installation was excellent and the crew was very professional. I could not have been more pleased. Based upon my first experience, I went with Halls to replace 8 large glass windows in my home. The job was about 11K. Given my initial experience with the company, I did not seek additional bids. That was a big mistake. During the installation, one crew member left early, leaving an installer and a new employee. It was clear during the walk through that several of the windows (Marvin Infinity Replacement Windows) were not straight, and once had a clear draft. A service technician came by (and later one of the company managers) and admitted that the installation was not proper. The service technician was able to fix two windows, and another four needed to removed and reinstalled. Well, I was not present during the reinstall date, but expected a call at the end of the repair for a walk through (I work four miles away). The installers simply left and gave my family member a message that I could call Halls if in had any questions rather than talk to me. Suffice it to day, the windows still don't look right. The first job was an A, the second was an F, which is why I gave the company an overall C grade.

In all everything A rated. Highly professional, prompt, price. Had a great experience with that. I highly recommend them.

They were very prompt and courteous. They were right on time and very friendly. They explained that the window warranty was for a lifetime.

They completely took out 2 windows and then putting them in with special glass installed. They came out and measured. When I told them I wanted to use the Groupon they said sure so I went and bought it. I didn't have it in hand and they didn't try to tell me it wouldn't apply or not to use it, they said yeah. It involved doing stucco work as well.

Transaction and installation was very smooth and professional, careful with detail through entire process. The Install team was very professional and experienced and left no trace of needed clean-up at the conclusion of the work. Good communications about the install process and the product being installed.

Outstanding from beginning to end. The estimator (Patti) gave us very sound advice on the best R-value window covering for our second floor west facing windows, was knowledgeable, punctual, and had great follow up. Install was perfect of a very nice product and the end result is that the room was three to four degrees cooler than normal even in this latest extreme heat wave (the week of the 105 temps and higher). And the room is much cooler in lesser heat as well. Hall's price beat the competition (another highly rated and often reviewed Angie's list contractor) by a good measure - so it is definitely worth getting multiple quotes and Hall's is really a winning company. Everyone at this company from the estimator/salesperson to the installer were first class people to deal with - could not be more pleased!

They have been out to my house multiple times for other services, they always to such a good job, and I am very happy with the outcome.

job and The installation involved removing the existing windows and cutting the wall to fit the new door. Installers had the new door installed on one day. As scheduled, the drywall contractor did an excellent job replacing dry wall. Stucco team was equally well qualified and matched the new stucco work to the existing finish. Last came the paint team that painted the door and interior dry wall. All of these sub contractors have a lengthy relationship with Halls and did an outstanding job. Hall's did an excellent job communicating with us. I highly recommend Halls.

The gal that came to our house was professional and on time. Her "pitch" was not as well done as some other window companies, but she was very nice. She took measurements and gave us a quote on Analin and Anderson 100 series windows. We were torn on which to go with, so we went down to the showroom which was helpful. When she didn't know an answer or was unable to explain it, the owner of the company came over to explain it to us. They were very kind, professional and helpful. We thought we were going to go with them, but in the end they wanted to put an Anderson door in for us when the windows were going to be Analin and the price for that particular door was a lot, plus there was no warranty for accidental glass breakage on the door. They said they just felt strongly that door would hold up better (and it may have), but that plus their price (about $2500 more than another company for the same analin retrofit window) ended up being the deal-breaker.

It was easy to schedule an appointment with Hall's for an estimate, and we ended up going to their showroom to look at options. Ours ended up being more expensive as the big deal was to replace an existing door, but that is reasonable. The crew came in and was done from start to finish really quickly. The door looks great, but there were a few areas of lack of attention to detail. They had to move our light fixtures outside, which they did, but there were big gaps around the fixtures that water could easily get into, and also some gaps in the caulking around the door itself. I took pictures and called them, and they came out right away and redid it. They were really polite and responsive in that way. About 8 months after the door was installed, a board at the base of the door pulled away from the house and was just hanging there. I think that the board was really warped, and that's why. I didn't bother calling them again, as my husband fixed it, but I"m sure they would've come out and made it right based on our past experience. Overall I'd recommend them, but I think that they are a little bit expensive based on prices friends have paid for similar projects, even with the Big deal price.
