Simply Outstanding! Everything from the design, selection process, scheduling and so importantly the execution exceeded our expectations for our Kitchen and Hall project. Sophia and Ryan did a great job in planning the project details, providing great choices, and doing a great great job of "listening" to our wants and concerns. They were easy to work with during this pre-contract period prior to our commitment. Lance, our Operations/Project Mgr and his team then made the whole plan come to life. Their expertise and attention to detail resulted in outstanding quality workmanship. Their scheduling and communications were impeccable. The project was completed on the exact day provided to us a couple months earlier. The daily detailed schedule was right on the money and we always had a call or text the day before the next scheduled contractor was to arrive at our home. An example of the planning and design was the fact that we had one small change order when the project was completed. They did a great job of dust containment and the work area was kept as clean as possible at the end of each work day. Great company! Great execution! We just couldn't be happier.

We love our newly completed Remodel Works kitchen, family room, and dining room. For our project, significant logistics included 1) removing two walls, 2) reconfiguring a kitchen twice its original size that’s both incredibly beautiful and highly functional, 3) refacing our fireplace and adding a TV over the mantle, 4) incorporating a gorgeous stone accent wall, plus many, many other details that brought our 1980s home into The Present. As a design-build firm, our Remodel Works team included Certified Master Kitchen and Bath Designers, Mary Jennings and John De Luca, and project manager, Ryan Terrell. Together, they worked seamlessly to make the challenging home remodel process become an attainable endeavor. Would we work with them again? Absolutely yes, and we have already recommended them to close friends. Honestly, we’ve received so many compliments on the new, open floorplan and kitchen layout, the chosen colors and finishes, and the craftsmanship’s attention to detail. Some special shout-outs to Kim at Scanco, Javier at SJ Electric, and Cesar at GD Tile. Thank you for the amazing and timeless home transformation our family will enjoy for decades.

Following first instincts in kitchen remodeling, we went to the Home Depot Design Center….and, although their service was polite and well-organized, we had no idea of what it was we really wanted, and so left with the same lack of inspiration we had going in. Only by serendipity (making a fortunate discovery by accident) did I stop a Remodel Works contractor driving a company vehicle from a job site, and asked for his business card. We then stopped by their show room at 12147 Kirkham Rd in Poway. We found helpful staff there, and examples of everything needed for a remodel - including various displays making it a bit easier to reimagine changes to our kitchen. John De Luca, Kitchenaire Extraordinaire was our Project Manager- friendly, professional, and talented. John came to our house, studied with us what we wanted to keep, and what we wanted to change. He took measurements and photographs that day; then back to his office to apply 3D software. What had been a lack of inspiration on our part, he set to software. He never pushed any product brand or style, he simply explained pros and cons of alternatives. John later portrayed (on 3D software) what products we said we liked, and superimposed (in detail) everything into possible revisions. Once we put everything together we were no longer confused. We knew exactly what we wanted. We could see it. Our onsite Project Manager, Daniel, supervised everything and did an amazing job of coordinating the entire project. From demolition to final touch-ups, Remodel Works’ whole approach was collaborative, and they kept us informed every step of the way. Of course, there were Covid-induced supply chain issues, but Daniel kept our project as close as he was able to expected completion dates. In the end, our kitchen turned out fabulous. No hesitation whatsoever about recommending Remodel Works.

BREATHTAKING, is the word I would use to describe my new kitchen designed by John De Luca, aka Kitchenaire Extraordinaire, for my 1960’s, San Diego kitchen. My husband and I never fully realized how inefficient and odd-looking our existing kitchen was and how it could be redesigned into a space of such functionality and beauty. John, who has many years of design experience, created not only the kitchen of our dreams, but answered all of our questions in a timely fashion as well. We have never remodeled before, and his ongoing support was truly remarkable and made things easy. It was obvious to us that John loves his craft and we felt truly taken care of by him. He wanted to make sure things were done right. His knowledge, professionalism and years of experience are obvious. Their daily schedule kept us well informed about the work being done and gave us a timeline for its completion. Our project manager, Walt, came by often to keep abreast of the job and to chat with us about the project. There were no surprises. The workers were well qualified and did an amazing job.

Dear George (Remodel Works Owner), Congratulations for hiring the likes of John De Luca & Mary Jennings. They, coupled with the rest of the Remodel Works team were knowledgeable and delightful to work with. One of the main reasons I chose Remodel Works was their incredible showroom. Everything I needed, except the appliances were within hands reach. I was given a wide array of choices and helpful suggestions. I liked that I was able to see all of my selections together, rather than going from vendor to vendor. Both Mary & John are experienced and skilled in the field of remodeling. They are personable and flexible. They also work well together as a team; obviously they have been together for some time and respect each other’s opinions and expertise!!! The main reasons I love Remodel Works – after the fact: • Mary, John & Paul (Project Mgr.) were responsive in a timely manner to all of my texts, emails and phone calls. • Remodel Works was very organized. I especially loved the day-to-day customer schedule. I knew exactly what to expect each day, and if changed needed to be made, I was so informed. • All materials were delivered on time. They were organized in my garage in the order of installation. I was able to continue to use my garage during this time. • The trades that worked in my house were skilled, polite, communicative and hard-working. Technicians went out of their way to produce quality work. • Remodel Works set up my home in such a way that I was able to continue to live here, in relative comfort, during the remodel. Remodel Works protected and covered existing flooring and curtained off hallways, rooms, etc. with zipped plastic (for easy access) in order to keep dust down to a bare minimum. • A special shout-out goes to Paul, the Project Manager. He went out of his way to help me with small, miscellaneous things – that made me feel like Remodel Works hires people who genuinely care. Paul ALWAYS responded to all my inquires in a very timely manner. • Also, special shout-outs goes to Javier, the electrician, and Daniel, the tile installer. They were both professional and I enjoyed having them work on this project. • Tony, the appliance man, bent over backward to make sure everything was right with me. And, for those of you who are familiar with supply and demand in the middle of COVID, you know that is not an easy task. • This referral came from my neighbors who live across the street. We were blessed with meeting the Kitchen Magician, John DeLuca. I am helping my 85 year old Dad as he recovers from pneumonia and a three week hospital stay. He is the original owner of this home built in 1986. The interior of the house is in complete disarray and outdated. John spent almost two hours listening, measuring, and discussing design ideas. He handled my "slightly grouchy" Dad extremely well! The next day, we had absolutely beautiful renderings of what the new kitchen will look like right in our email! Top notch! When John DeLuca came to our house, we were like 'an empty vessel'; having no prior thought except to change the outdated look of our kitchen. John's thoughts registered with ours almost immediately. In the beginning, as selections of colors and construction themes unfolded, he took detailed measurements...measurements he later rendered onto 3D CAD drawings. Our second appointment was at their Remodel Works office, where we were shown samples of backsplash tile, cabinets, quartz countertop, crown molding, etc. By our 3rd appointment, John had everything on CAD. After a few minor adjustments - he costed everything out. John shared his vast design experience with us and we're very happy. We're moving forward with this project, and expect the best.

We used a another building contractor to manage and build the project but used RW for their K&B design expertise and ability to get a project completed in a timely manner. We had worked with Mary Jennings and John De Luca at our previous home for a bath remodel and were not disappointed in their work on this project. Our contractor was very impressed with the planning and execution of the bath and kitchen portion of the project. He really liked Jeff Aldridge our Project Manager. He commented that Jeff works at communication with his customers. He always returned phone calls in a timely manner, and other wise kept us well informed. Things come up on any project but RW personnel worked diligently to come up with good solutions. Pricing for the project was competitive for a very organized, full service design/build remodeling firm.

Yes, I would choose Remodel Works again! After interviewing 4 different companies to design and complete my kitchen and master bathroom remodels, I selected Remodel Works. This was due to my initial meeting with the designer, their process, and their warranty. And I’m so glad I did. My new kitchen and bathroom are beautiful! My designer, John De Luca, was wonderful to work with from beginning to end. He really is a “Kitchenaire Extraordinaire” and “Bathroom Beautiful” designer who cares about good design and about the client. We worked closely on the design for my kitchen and master bathroom and he came up with designs that really met my desires and needs and matched the rest of my home. My project manager, Greg Ransweiler, did an amazing job keeping my project on track and all of the Remodel Works workmen (Aschley, Devin, Chris) and subs on the project were professional, friendly, and did outstanding work. Another thing I really liked about Remodel Works was their design/build documentation and their clear construction process. I was given a project schedule so I knew exactly who was going to show up each day, what would be done, and when payment would be due. And when there were supply or other issues, I was kept fully informed. Of course, there were some bumps along the way, but Greg was very responsive (he never failed to get back to me) and always came up with thoughtful and suitable solutions. And he didn’t mind all my questions. I love my new kitchen and bathroom (as do all my family and friends) and would highly recommend Remodel Works. When I’m ready to do my other bathroom, I plan to use them again.

From the first meeting with Matt our Designer to the professionalism by our Project manager Jeff and all of the workers we couldn’t be happier. They were on time and on the budget that was agreed on. From the demolition crew, drywall person, flooring guys led by Eduardo, electrician, cabinet maker and installers, countertop fabrication and installation, and appliance installation they were all top notch and went out of their way to make sure the job was done perfectly. We had a couple of hiccups on the way, probably due to Covid and building issues we didn't expect, but all in all they did a wonderful, timely, professional job. We would hire them again.

Kitchen remodel started November 9th, 2020 and was scheduled for six weeks. They finished early, which was a major plus. From the first phone call to the last day of the project, Remodel Works was highly engaged and supportive. For instance, we wanted a new Kitchen but did not have an idea of what to do. John De Luca designed a kitchen that exceeded our expectations. Ryan the project manager was straight forward, communicated well and got the job on time. Our new kitchen has made it the center of our house. Prior to the remodel, the family would seldom utilize the Kitchen unless it was for cooking. Now it has become the hub our home. Friends and family are amazed at our new kitchen. We constantly receive positive feedback about the design and color schemes. Remodel Works is a professional company, and I will utilize them again for any house remodels.

We cannot make enough positive comments about our experience with Remodel Works. They recently remodeled two of our bathrooms, which also included knocking a couple of walls to reconfigure the layout on our second floor. We have already recommended them to so many people! From the start, they were highly professional, showing up exactly when they said they would, fully prepared. They promise a particular timeline, and unlike so many other contractors, they actually stuck to it 100%. Really! They have their system completely worked out, so that every piece of the puzzle is accounted for before they start their work. Every person we worked with - including Matt our designer and Lance - was communicative, friendly, skilled, and professional. You could also tell they really enjoyed working with each other, which made for a really pleasant working environment overall. Matt did a great job giving us his professional opinion in line with our vision and tweaking things to make them even better, always considering our preferences above all else. We had a pretty grand vision, and they were thorough, patient, excited, and flexible with us throughout the process. By the time they got started, they had ensured all details had been accounted for and decisions had been made, so they needed no guidance or supervision from us at all after they got started. We fully trusted them to take care of it independently with no oversight (and even lived elsewhere during the process), and they did not disappoint. We were thrilled with the workmanship and look of the remodel. My husband and I were truly so impressed by Remodel Works, and we plan to recommend them to everyone we know!

It all started with seeing their Sprinter Van on the Freeway. We called them up and the first contact was super friendly and inviting. We scheduled an appointment with John De Luca and he was extremely patient, kind and understanding. He was able to draw up plans that fit our budget. He came to my mom's home for a consultation and did his magic. Measurements were drawn up, photos were taken and the rest was magic. Brett Maguire was our project manager. My mom's kitchen should have been an episode for HGTV because it was super outdated and needed a major makeover. John and Brett were very considerate of how bad the kitchen was. They reassured us that the kitchen would be gorgeous and that they would do everything to transform it. During COVID, they were extremely professional with wearing of masks and following CDC guidelines. The whole process was very clear and transparent. Paperwork showed names of employees that would show up to the work site and also discuss what they were working on for the day. If any changes took place, John or Brett were quick to respond via text message or email. Invoices were given to use to show clarity of price and if there was anything wrong with a cabinet or item for the kitchen remodel, it was taken care of immediately and professionally. Both John and Brett are great with conversation and really take the time to listen. A sense of humor is also a great trait to have when working with people. My mom really enjoyed talking to various employees and seeing her old kitchen transform into a working, efficient and gorgeous galley kitchen remodel. I highly recommend Remodel Works for future jobs. It was so nice to sit down in a super efficient kitchen and be able to cook a turkey for Thanksgiving and Prime Rib for Christmas. John and Brett literally transformed our lives through the whole process. We are forever grateful for this experience with Remodel Works and cannot thank John and Brett and the various Remodel Works employees. Thank you for bringing some new traditions to our family. We lost my father (Vietnam Vet) a few years ago and my dad would have been so proud to have seen the major transformation that John and Brett did for our house. Thank you!

The project went very well. This was the second bathroom project that Remodel Works did for us and we were very pleased both times. Mary Jennings, Design Consultant, was a pleasure to work with and is extremely skilled and experienced. We had an idea of what we wanted, but Mary really helped us to “fine tune” the design and coordinate all the different materials used. She was very good at interpreting the overall look we were trying to achieve. Lance, our project manager, was excellent and always kept us informed of any changes in schedule, of which there were very few. The work crew was very respectful and courteous and always on time. We highly recommend Remodel Works!

We love Remodel Works! After discovering harmful mold and mold byproducts in our home, we had to have many areas (namely the kitchen and 2 bathrooms) torn out. Needless to say we were completely shocked at the level of repair needed. Enter John DeLuca, designer du jour. He helped my mom design the kitchen of her dreams, as well as update the master and guest bathrooms which had been torn down to studs. John was always available for a phone call or text with any questions, even to help us choose paint colors outside of the areas he designed. The construction is still in process, but Lance has been amazing and everything is coming together beautifully. He has kept us updated each step of the way, and has a very calming demeanor (which is always appreciated during construction projects!). Brett has been great as well, always working hard with a big smile when we stop by to check on progress. Both have gone above and beyond in keeping the place in order (we are not staying in the home during this work). They both could have easily just stuck to the project they were hired for, but have done extra detective work in helping us figure out issue after issue with our older home. We know we are in good hands. This process has been emotional, as a remodel was initially something my mom and dad were planning together, but my dad ended up passing away suddenly just over a year ago. It has been such a blessing to be so taken care of by Remodel Works during a rough time. Highly recommend for professional, top notch work, and individuals who really care about their work and clients.

We had a wonderful experience remodeling our kitchen with Remodel Works. Our neighbors had used Remodel Works a few years ago for their kitchen remodel, and it was gorgeous. That convinced us to use them for our kitchen remodel also. We were very pleased. We worked with a great design team, Mary and John. They helped us come up with a good plan for much better utilization of our kitchen space. Remodel Works listened to our needs and made the process fun. Their computer graphics generated a scaled layout so we could visualize the design, how all the cabinets and appliances fit, and compare any alternatives. We selected our cabinets, counter-tops, backsplash, and other needs from their extensive showroom. Jeff, the project manager, was great and kept everything running smoothly. They gave us a detailed work schedule so we knew what was going to be done each day, and they stayed on schedule. All the contractors and workers were friendly, helpful, and considerate. They showed up on time and cleaned up afterwards. Several times they made suggestions such as adding trim. A day or so before the end of the project, the range hood installer noticed a slight defect in the hood that would prevent it from working well. They postponed the final payment for three weeks so the new hood could be installed, inspected, and approved. Even though the kitchen is the same size, we have better use of the available room and more cupboard space because of the efficiency of the design. Five out of five stars! Thank you, Remodel Works
