"I apologize for the poor service you received. I was unable to find any record that we did any work for you. Are you positive that we are the company that you had out? If so did we ever show up and do the work or was the work done at a different address under a different name? I would like to ensure that this doesnt happen again as this is not the way we conduct business normally so I would like to make sure that whatever the issue was that we are able to remedy it in the future. If you would please call us at 559-784-5628 so that we can see if there is any way to make up for the poor service you received I would greatly appreciate it. Ryan Knutson Aire Serv Manager"
"Thank you for your continued business and support."
"Thank you for taking your time to post a review and we look forward to continuing to serve you."
Gus the service technician from Aire Serv shows up at 3:03 pm. Within fifteen minutes he says he is pretty sure he knows where the leaks are and even requests to show me where he thinks they are. Unfortunately a bad evap coil and king valve. He also pointed out the cheaper solder that was used on the fittings and that these are known for leaking. Aw shucks. So I pay the $130 for his testing services. Gus, a very respectful and professional gentleman said he could get a quote for me in the morning. I agree. At 7:25 am Gus has a quote for me. He was able to use some of the initial charge for the testing ($130) toward the service offered to check for discounts for finding Aire Serv on Angies List and gave me a quote to the penny for all parts and labor. I said ok. He said he just need to order the parts and would schedule as soon as possible. That afternoon Elaine calls me and schedule for the next day at 0900. Gus shows up at 0845 ready to go. He spends the better part of 7 hours doing the job. After picking up the drop cloth he always laid down and cleaning his hand prints off the entrance to the attic (where the coil is), Gus insisted on showing me what he had done. He gave descriptive details on the work he did, including re-doing fittings with a top grade solder that was meant for A/C systems and the clean wrapping of the new hoses/tubing. He finished up and thanked me for allowing him to do the job and left at 5:15 pm.
So I guess what I am trying to say is that my experience with AIre Serv was top notch. Everyone was professional, and quick with response time. I will definitely use them in the future. Rock on Gus. Oh and by the way, the Home Depot contacted company called me on Tuesday (not Saturday) and left a message to schedule the leak test for $600. I didn't return their call.
