Devon Robertson (son of Jon) performed the work and did a good job, however $575 for 1 1/2 hours work is $383/hr, pretty steep.

"The job was agreed upon and done exactly the way it was presented. The time to discuss price is before you accecpt the terms of the agreement. Because he worked fast and efficient, he shouldn't alter the fair agreed upon price."

Jon did a good job of hanging the paper. He was totally professional. He was also very patient during some long delays by the wallpaper company. I would recommend him. However, I would caution against hiring Devon for more than the very basics. He was supposed to repair my bathroom ceiling and patch the walls. I had to ask Jon to redo the ceiling. Devon pulled two tiles without consulting me then did some sort of makeshift patch which was totally unsatisfactory and convinced me he really does not know a lot about anything beyond the basics but he charged a lot. Recommend if you need wall repair before hanging paper that you hire a separate contractor.

$1200 4days to prep bath room for his fathers wallpaper installation and paint 3 walls in den. will now need to hire someone to correctly prep walls in the bath room. What a mess I 'm left with !!

"I did not do this job. I am a wallpaper installer only. I refered my son for this painting and wall prep. He is usually very good at this and even offered to come back and correct any issues she had. She never returned his phone calls. I have never been to the house and never met these people. I talked with her husband about installing wallpaper over the phone and he said he would call me after the other work had been done. Haven't heard from them."

Devon did a very good job of removing the wallpaper and preparing the surface for new paper. I thought the price was high but found that it really was not. It is a relief to have the wall ready for the next step.

Finding anyone who does wallpaper hanging is really tough. There are so few who do it anymore and they're all really busy. Jon was terrific. Fast and professional. Really pleased.

Jon called me immediately, came out to look at the job, quoted and did just outstanding work. The guy knows what he is doing and frankly there aren't a lot of people who know how to properly install wallpaper. He was clean, efficient and worth every penny. We had a damask print that required proper alignment and he was perfect. I would def recommend his services.

I posted my project on Home Advisor on Thursday and received a call within an hour from Devon Robertson. We set up an estimate appointment on Friday and we scheduled the removal on Saturday morning. Devon arrived on time, was professional & courteous. He said has been removing wall paper for 18 years so he came with a lot of experience. He did a great job and I would definitely rehire this company for future projects. Great job!
