Problems arose almost from the beginning. I never received proactive notification of the order's repeated delay. I had the credit card company suspend payment. The owner yelled at ME when I asked for a committed delivery date, and lied to me about the cancellation process with the manufacturer. I sent them certified mail, contacted the manufacturer's corporate Customer Service department and I am investigating filing a claim in California's small claims court. They are closing this store, BUT MR. MCKEEN HAS OTHER FURNITURE STORES IN THE AREA - DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM OR YOU'LL REGRET IT.
Description of Work: This dealer, represented by Joe McKeen, is an independent dealer, but has all but ruined the reputation of a fine furniture manufacturer. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH HIM AT ANY STORE. Almost 10 months ago I ordered expensive dining room furniture for a brand new house. The table was delivered, though two months later than estimated, but the chairs have STILL not arrived.I finally canceled the remaining orders and am desperately attempting to recoup my deposit money.
