Around the Bay Paving did a great job to work within my budget. Also, when small damage occurred to a planter box, they worked with me on how to resolve via deductive total price of the job and applying a free seal coat to the new driveway. Most importantly, they are honest, follow up with their word and are good communicators. Its easy to overlook customer service in the construction world, but Around the Bay prioritizes it and it shows.

Great service and work

When cracks in our private road threatened a disaster when the rains came, and only one of the numerous contractors and paving companies we called gave us a bid, I tried Home Advisor. Within a few hours Mike at Around the Bay Paving contacted me. He came out that afternoon and inspected the job and that evening he wrote a long job description and bid â which was 25% of the only other bid we got!! We only had a week window before the weather changed. Mike and his very professional crew got the job done on time â despite the unexpected PG&E power outage that week that closed his asphalt supplierâ he found a substitute -- and wildfires that caused Mike and his wife to be evacuated from their home. Mike came back later to check and fill additional small cracks. I think Mike will be doing all the road jobs on our hill from now on. Although Mikeâ s crew does paving for 200,000 square foot parking lots, our small job got their full attention. I highly recommend Around the Bay Paving and Grading.

I spent 5,000 cash and Mike said his work would last 20 years and it started deteriorating in less than 90 days. The worst thing about the way Mike conducts himself is he is unresponsive to your calls. This is why I wrote the review. I had 2 asphalt professionals evaluate Mikes work as unacceptable and should be redone because it deteriorated so quickly.

Superb work. Great family business. Michael gave us perfect customer service...very responsive to emails, questions, phone calls. We interviewed 3 other companies...got most competitive price from Around the Bay Paving. We definitely made the right choice in pavers!

My most important concern was grading around the driveway. I thought I explained this well but no grading was done or attempted. It may have been my miscommunication but we talked about this 3 times and no grading was accomplished. The driveway itself is very well done. I will find another resource to grade my property so my driveway will be protected.
