Not impressed. When we went to the closing at their office, the Pickford person who went through with us all the documents we had to sign clearly didn't know what all of them were (and actually said a couple times, "I don't know what this one is. It looks like..."). They charged us $1300 in closing fees, which is apparently a fairly standard price, although that included (this was printed on the closing papers) $100 for emailing documents. $100 for email?! We complained to the broker and he got them to remove it. But seriously. After the closing, we got a check back from them for about $500 (they always take more at closing than will probably be needed, just in case something comes up). Two days later they called to say they screwed up and gave us too much money back - so we had to write them a check for $250. Again, seriously? When your broker choses an escrow company, make sure they don't chose Pickford. I'm just waiting to find out they screwed up the documents somehow.
