I highly recommend G & G for carpet repair, stretching and cleaning service.  Jim, the owner is very professional and knowledgeable about carpet stretching repair.  He was able to stretch my carpet which had buckled up because the previous installer did not properly installed the carpet and the carpet did not have enough tension.  My carpet was less than 5 years old. Jim has done a very good job in fixing most of the buckle and he has the proper equipment to do the job  His staff are also very professional and courteous.  They showed up on time and was very efficient.  They were very careful in moving my furniture for the stretching and cleaning. Overall I had an excellent experience with G & G and would definitely use their cleaning service again.

The two gentlemen made sure that we were satisfied at the end of their job and gave us specific instructions for how long we should wait before use, just overnight. We were pleased.

Outstanding customer service and follow-up. Not the cheapest, but great service and a quality outcome which were well worth it. Would not hesitate to use them for other services.

They did a great job and we were very pleased. We had unexpected houseguests coming into town, and so had called G and G on very short notice. They were sympathetic and willing to work with us to get the carpets clean and dry in time for our guests' arrival. I was really grateful for that, because I know most companies would not accommodate such a short-notice request. They came on time, were friendly, polite and professional. They were kind and careful with our pets and our furnishings. The house looked and smelled so fresh and clean when they were finished! We will definitely use them again.

Although expensive even with Angies discount, work was excellent.

They were excellent..came at the date and time I needed and were very thorough and detailed in their work. I was very happy with the results.

Outstanding! Removed serious stains like they were not there!

G&G did a fantastic job of cleaning our sofa which had been soiled by our cats. I had not been able to remove the odor and there is now no trace of the scent.
They were not able to clean our shower tiles as was planned because there was mold inside the grouting and they did not have the equipment with them to preform the repair. They offered to return with the correct equipment, but we decided not to go ahead since we will be replacing the shower in the near future. They did go ahead and clean our bathroom floor tile and did a good job.
Pricing was a little confusing because of the fact they were not able to complete the shower cleaning. There was an optional spray available to protect our sofa which I decided to purchase. I was not aware of this until they came to perform the service. So I ended up being a little confused about the price breakdown for various items.
The men who performed the work were extremely professional and courteous. All in all, I would use G&G again for similar jobs.

I have used G&G to clean our carpets for many years. They are very professional and always do an excellent job. In the past I also gave them a small oriental carpet to clean at their facility and that was returned in excellent condition.

Cleaning was performed in a timely manner and the employees were courteous and professional.  The cost was higher than I would have preferred to pay, but I would call upon this vendor again.

Jim came and performed the work himself. My chairs and ottoman now look fantastic, returned almost to their original state. Although they are not old they are light colored and needed some attention. I wanted them to remain in good condition being my "retirement" present to myself. Jim is professional, competent and gets right to work. Having not had this kind of service recently I was a little surprised by the cost but wanted the job done right and that is what I got!

Their price seemed a little high but they were just so good that it was worth it. They were there on time and took care of everything. They got rid of stains. It wasn't that reasonable but it was worth it. They were terrific. My experience with them was very positive. Other people should know how efficient they were and how they took care of the issue. There were some stains that they removed that I wasn't sure they would be able to tackle.

Ask him to get the carpet ready for sale. They did an excellent job. Major carpet sales companies couldn't be bother unless I bought new carpet. Now when I need carpet I will get it from g and g

They were very professional and pleasant to work with through the whole process.  Scheduling was quick, as I was able to take advantage of a cancellation they had.  I warned them on the phone that the area had pet stains and would probably need some extra attention.  They came on time and did a very thorough cleaning, including moving the bed and furniture (I moved all the small items I could beforehand).  The pet stains are very much improved and the carpet looks really good.
G&G did tell me ahead of time on the phone that pet stains can easily soak into the pad and subfloor, and no carpet cleaning can get that out completely.  I approved them coming and doing the best they could, understanding that they might not be able to get everything out.  I can't say it looks like new (it is 20 years old, it really shouldn't look new), but I think the pet stains were worse than I suspected; they really did a very good job on it.
They provided a discount for me as an Angie's List customer (the $225 reflects that discount).

Jim from G&G arrived during his scheduled window of time. He explained what he was going to do and then started to clean the runners one at a time and once finished with that he started to clean the one area rug in our dining room. He then proceeded to clean the upholstered chair in our living room that had some coffee spilled on it. The are rug and runners came out looking very clean and the chair did not show any coffee stains on it and does not smell like coffee any more. Jim has taken our wool and silk area rug to his shop to be cleaned and we are now waiting for it to be complete and delivered back to us.
