If you want to store you possessions with filth, bugs, worms, and rat droppings Pacific Grove Self Storage is the place for you. As an added bonus, you will be able to deal with the extremely nasty manager, who, in my personal opinion, is a ripoff artist. When I rented my storage units, I was told that they were conditioned. Well, they may be conditioned, but I personally doubt that the conditioning has ever been turned on. I literally had thousands of dollars of possessions that were stored at PG Self Storage’s allegedly conditioned units and that I had to discard because they were infested with bugs, worms, and rat droppings and/or because they were thoroughly rusted and damaged by the high humidity that should have been controlled if the units were really conditioned. I had three storage units at this facility. When I vacated the first unit, the manager told me I needed to give a 30 day notice. However, my contract only required a 7 day notice. Finally, the manager told me that I would receive a prorated refund for my unused rental fee, but he later refused to give me my prorated refund. Moreover, I was planning to vacate my other two units on the anniversary date of my rentals. However, the manager was not allowing access to the units for the week prior to my anniversary date. Despite the fact that the one week delay would have been caused solely by the manager closing access to the units for a week, he insisted that I would have to pay for the extra week. Consequently, I had to drop everything I had planned so I could move out a week earlier than I had to. It is my individual, personal, subjective belief that I was ripped off by this company.  Therefore, it is my individual, personal, subjective opinion and belief, that the company is incompetent, dishonest, and/or unethical.  The foregoing review solely provides my individual, personal, subjective opinions, beliefs, and interpretations.
