John explained completely what needed to be done and we scheduled an appointment for the repair. He arrived at the appointed time and completed the repair and then call SMUD for me to have them restore my electrical power. John was friendly, professional and very efficient in his dealings with me.

Electric Connection was punctual, up-front and accurate with costs and a pleasure to work with. They spent the time designing the best solution to a somewhat complicated modification to my electrical service. We worked out changes that were the least obtrusive as far as exterior modifications and made my most used breaker switches conveniently accessible from the interior of my home. They completed the work on time and on-estimate with excellent communication. I will use them again in my future projects.

Great. John installed all items perfectly. He is very flexible and was early each day. When I changed the original plans it was no big deal and John handled all of it in stride. John ran two new sub panel lines and installed an all new 200 amp service panel. John dealt with all of the permitting and the city of Roseville. Even when John accidentally broke a small glass panel on a door in the basement he was very apologetic. He not only left a hand written note but he called and left a voice message to let me know he would fix it to my satisfaction. We will be using John and Electrical Connection for more as we go through a big remodel of our home.

Went great! John and R.J. have it down to a science. They were able to provide an accurate estimate over the phone based on the requirements, including cost for any contingencies. When they arrived, we reviewed the job requirements and worked through some of the details; this included installing a new switch for the fan. They did an excellent job.

John arrived promptly when he said he would and was super friendly and professional. He quickly completed the work and was patient in answering all my many questions and clarified everything. Everything went extremely well. John was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They made sure the furniture was covered with plastic and the room was kept clean. Electric Connection: 1. Communicated quickly with a quote, a list of requirements and schedule of work. The work consisted of the following: a. Scheduling SMUD to disconnect power to the old panel. b. A SMUD engineer came to check/approve the required work. (There was a hold until some of the tree branches were cut down to have access to the main pole wires.) I had to spend additional money to get the branches cut. c. SMUD was late on the the day of work so Electric Connection disconnected the power live so they could do their work. d. Install the new panel. e. Have the city inspector come to verify and sign-off work. (Inspector came late) f. Have SMUD reconnect the power to the new panel. (SMUD came late) 2. Provided all the information via email (written) as requested by me so there would not be any misunderstandings. 3. Work was executed as scheduled. Power was back up within 10 hours. The power down would have been shorter (3-4 hours) but it was delayed by the city inspection and SMUD re-connection of the panel. These issues were identified at the beginning of the initial quote. It went very well. Cutting holes in the vaulted ceiling for the lights was no mess with the special attachment used to seal and collect the debris. This was of concern to us because of previous work done cutting into sheetrock was quite messy. We had prepped the room for John (moved most of the furniture out, removed pictures, coved things up) but they also did their own covering. They took the time to work with us to place the lights in a good pattern given the rafters that had to be taken into account. We settled on a pattern of two groups of four each that look nice and work well functionally in the room. All in all, a very professional job, and a pleasure to work with these guys. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I got a number of bids. Electric Connection bid was little lower than average compared to others. The bid broke down each item of work to be done. I liked the reviews that I read. Besides the work I needed done, he also had to make room for two new circuit breakers into my full outside breaker box and connected a faceless GFI plate in the bathroom. After completing all the work, we checked each GFI plug. I would recommend his work to others.

This is the second time i have hired John and RJ. They are a pleasure to work with. John came in and helped me design the electrical for a great place to do woodworking and start my car restoration car hobby. The results exceeded my expectations. The outdoor sockets are heavy duty and clean metal conduit. Everything is designed to work well and be safe to operate for years to come!

John was able to fix everything right on the spot in a couple of hours. He had everything needed on his truck and even climbed into our attic to clear out insulation that was causing our hallway lights to flicker on and off due to heat sensors. We couldn't be happier with the work. I highly recommend John and this company!

I can say without a doubt in my mind that Electric Connection is THE MOST RELIABLE service provider that I have ever used. I have CONFIDENCE in their work.
