Perfect! I so much appreciate working directly with the owner on home repairs. Kermit was responsive to our phone call, came out the next day, had all the needed supplies, completed the service promptly, and offered us the advertised Angie's List discount. I will definitely contact him again when needed and recommend him to others.

I had a leak under the kitchen sink. Kermit came out to give me an estimate. He found two leaks. The faucet was leaking and one of the angle stops was rusted and leaking. To fix the angle stops required that a long pipe (nipple) had to be changed. The long pipe ran along the back of one of the lower cabinets. I took the dishes out of the cabinet and he changed the pipe without having to take the cabinet out. Then he changed both angle stops and put in a the new faucet. The parts and time came to a little over the estimate, which was fine with me. But then he gave me a 25% first time customer discount!! Great!!

It went very good. It went very fast they were a father and son team they were very professional and got the work done quickly.

Our Kohler kitchen faucet with pull-out spout was getting very difficult to rotate, so I called Chapman's Legacy Plumbing. Mr. Chapman was able to come out that very afternoon and arrived within the one hour time window he estimated. He started taking the faucet apart and, after about 10 minutes, showed me the corrosion which would prevent him from making a repair that afternoon. He re-assembled the faucet so that our kitchen was functional again and said to give him a call when I got a new faucet - there was no charge for that initial visit and he said that if he couldn't fix it, he wouldn't charge for it! I got the new faucet 2 days after his first visit, then called him to schedule the replacement. Once again, he scheduled me for the same afternoon, arrived within his time window, and promptly made the repair. His labor was $150 for the whole job, and he even gave me a discount for being a first time customer using Angie's List. I will definitely be calling Chapman's Legacy Plumbing again for any plumbing needs we have for our home.

We think he is the best. He did a wonderful job. He is a pleasure to work with. He does an excellent job promptly for a reasonable price. He is everything you could ask for in a provider. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

We purchased a new gas range and needed the gas pipeline relocated so the range could be moved in closer to the wall. We got estimates from three companies, all of them offering Angie?s List coupon specials at that time. We opted for Chapman?s and are really glad we did. Russell was prompt, professional, and courteous. He finished in less time than estimated and the price and quality of the work was excellent. Be assured, my snail?s pace in writing a review sooner had nothing to do with the service provided. I highly recommend this company and will hire them again in a flash.

Mr. Chapman fixed a leak under the sink and installed a new kitchen faucet for me. I had tried to fix the drip myself and ended up doing something wrong causing the cold water to have no "off" function and the on to spray water full blast. I was able to use the stop valve to prevent flooding, but Mr. Chapman kindly worked me into today's schedule. I had bought a new faucet, so the price above reflects labor only and I also used a coupon here from Angie's list. The original quote was $155.00, but with the coupon it was $116.00. Mr. Chapman was professional, patient with my questions, kind (for not lecturing me on my attempt at DYI) and the cost was reasonable for the work performed (even without the coupon). I'd highly recommend this company to anyone needing plumbing work.

I received a call from a tenant saying that the water heater was leaking. I contacted Chapmans Legacy Plumbing (Kermit, specifically) the next day, and asked him if he could stop by and check a reported water heater leak and give me an assessment. He made the time after his existing job and confirmed that the unit needed replacing. He quoted me a price, which included the water heater and new fittings and an additional strap. He and the tenant made arrangements between them for the installation, and it was delivered and completed as quoted. I was very pleased with the prompt and knowledgeable service.

Kermit and his son showed up to my house on time to replace my (Tank type) hot water heater. They were friendly and very efficient and didn't try to sell me anything I really didn't need. They gave me a discount as I removed the old hot water heater myself and had the area ready for them. They had the new hot water heater installed and completed within an hour. Their quality of workmanship and professionalism is top notch. I would definitely utilize them again in the future to provide plumbing services at my home.

He showed up within 30 minutes of me calling him. The technician was very nice and did such a good job that I recommended him to my mother who will be using his services as well.

In August 2014 we contacted a local based plumbing company to fix a water backup into the kitchen sink and master shower pan when the washing machine would drain. That company we contacted came out quickly and performed a video inspection of the laundry line to the main line. They then suggested a hydro jet cleaning which we approved. Three hundred and fifty dollars later, the water no longer backed up, everybody was happy. Fast forward to the week of February 9th 2015: The water backup problem had returned! We contacted the company that performed the hydro jet cleaning 5 months prior to see what could be happening now. That company said that they didn't even need to come out already knew what the problem was. They said that when they did the video inspection they saw that the main sewer line was disintegrating and it would have to be replaced. This didn?t surprise us too much because we knew that the main line was at least 50 years old. I did a little research to see what kind of costs I was going to be looking at for a main sewer line replacement or a trenchless reline and found that we were looking at some significant dollars ($4000.00 - $6,500.00). Before spending that kind of money I decided to get other estimates. From a good friend?s recommendation I contacted Chapman?s Legacy Plumbing and spoke to Kermit. Kermit arrived as scheduled. Normally the access point to video inspect the main sewer line is from the clean-out. unfortunately our old house did not have a clean-out added when it was built. Kermit tried to access the main sewer line from the roof vent line but that vent line offset when the house was built and there were too many 90 degree bends between it and the main for camera access. Since a clean-out was going to be necessary whether the main line was replaced or relined, we had Chapman's Legacy Plumbing install one. Once the clean-out was installed Kermit was able to thoroughly video inspected the main line. Kermit?s inspection found that the main sewer line was in excellent shape! Since the problem wasn?t in the main sewer line (where we had told him it was going off bad information from the other company) he was able to find the root cause of the water backup which was just a hair/grease clog in the connection between the shower/washing machine and kitchen sink. That was cleared quickly and everything is now draining just as it should. I don?t make many reviews but I know how important it is to find an quality company that knows their profession and treats their customers with respect and honesty. My wife and I will be using Chapman?s Legacy Plumbing from this point on for all of our plumbing needs.

I left a message and was called back immediately, saying he would come in about an hour, which he did. He determined the problem and fixed it neaty and efficiently.

No Show and No Call to inform me he could make it.

We've had Chapman Legacy Plumbing out here twice before, (see reviews for work done on 8/30/12 and 4/12/14), so we were very comfortable with the quality of their work, and glad to have them do work for us again. We were scheduled to have our kitchen counters refinished by Miracle Method, and we needed to have the old sink, etc, removed prior to the refinishing, and new sink, etc, installed when the counters were finished. Kermit, of Chapman's Legacy Plumbing came out and gave us an estimate. We scheduled him to come back the day before the work on the counters was to be started, (11/10/14), and the day after the counters were to be completed. I went to Ferguson's Plumbing Supply on Auburn Blvd to buy the sink, faucet, air gap & disposal. Because Chapman's Legacy Plumbing was doing the job, we received a discount. Ferguson's took care of ordering what I had chosen. Kermit brought everything when he came to install, on Friday, 11/14/14. That made it much easier for us. Kermit showed up as scheduled on both days. On the Friday, his son accompanied him. Everything went smoothly. We now have a beautiful large Kohler stainless steel sink with no divider. I love the larger size. Everything is working well. We're very happy. Both Kermit and his son are great to work with. We would absolutely hire them again.

Russell first came out to give a free estimate. He explained what he would need to do and patiently answered all my questions until I understood how and with what parts it would need to be repaired. He was also willing to give me basic estimates on other common household repairs. After checking a couple other plumbers I decided to have him return to do the work. Russell and his dad arrived on time and began the repair right away. It was done within the time frame he had promised and as he had described to me it would be done. They were professional and efficient and with no "surprises". I also appreciated that they were courteous and tidied up after their work was done. Thank you Chapmans.

Kermit came to my home to give an estimate for service to my gas line. Looked at the issue and took a photo. Said he would send an estimate for the repair. Two weeks later I have not received anything. Very disappointed he wasted my time. Would have been professional if he would have just told me up front he was not interested. Poor service from the owner of the business.

Contacted them on a Friday and we scheduled an appointment on Saturday! Kermit was very professional on the phone and helped me avoid unnecessary expenses, gave a very accurate estimate. Kermit and his son arrived the next day on time, and installed the water heater with an overflow tank and a ball valve in less than 2 hours. This included removing the old one. Kermit also fixed one of the toilet flushes in my house for free. Amazing efficiency and very professional work. Would definitely recommend for any plumbing work!

I called CLP after 5:30pm when I arrived home from work to find my water heater was leaking water all over the garage. Russell responded promptly and talked me through turning off the water and gas until he arrived. He got their supplier to stay open late so he could pick up a new unit before arriving. Russell was at the house within an hour or so of my initial call. Russell was professional, courteous and performed the work quickly! He walked me through instructions on how the new water heater pilot light worked (a bit different from my prior unit) and ensured I was satisfied prior to completing the job. He cleaned up everything when finished even though I told him I could take care of a lot of it, he would have none of that! Although CLP prices may be a little higher than some bigger plumbing companies I would never hesitate to use them again, after all you get what you pay for! Very professional, responsive and a wonderful company!!! They will always be my first and only call when I need a plumber!

Russell arrived on time and got to work immediately on replacing the hot water heater. When Kermit arrived he got to work immediately on the sink. There were some unexpected challenges with installing the new faucet since the person that had installed my osmosis filter had tapped into the line, and they didn't have the right flush handle on the truck. They bought the correct parts and didn't charge me extra for the labor. They also patiently answered all my questions. The pricing was very fair, and I would definitely use these guys again.

While I haven't yet had this provider perform any actual repairs, I certainly feel compelled to commend them on their policy of not charging to come and assess a plumbing situation. What a refreshing change from most service providers! Kermit was timely, professional, and efficient in looking into the situation and making a recommendation for a solution. I was both grateful and impressed, and would not hesitate to recommend them as well as contact them for future repairs when needed.

I called for plumbing services at 10:55 on a Sunday and they responded within 15 minutes and came out within the next 1/2 hour. Kermit was done clearing my main sewer line before 12:30 p.m. The cost was reasonable for a Sunday service and they even gave me a discount. I would highly recommend this company to anyone and they will be on my next call for plumbing issues in the future.

YOU DECIDE!! In anticipation of a major kitchen/bath remodel I called Chapmans, met with owner, Kermit, and explained the project suggesting that much of the work could be done prior to new sink base install for his convenience with final touches to come upon putting in dishwasher etc. Kermit installed two turn off valves (angle valves) in the kitchen and two more in a bath at that time. . In addition he replaced two badly rusted nipples in a bathroom and capped off some old, obsolete drain lines in the kitchen. Kermit was called away on an emergency, which was fine, and later returned to finish the PTrap in the bath and stop a minor leak in the laundry shut off valve with the insertion of a little rubber washer. . We discussed a possible need for a very costly whole house re-pipe as our water pressure was extremely low. I was told that he had a similar job pending and would get back in touch however, before he could give me a quote we hired a different company and he was told to disregard. I then received in the mail a bill for $875. I spoke with Kermit on the phone for an explanation and was told that he had spent four hours (at $145/hr) and had used $300 in parts doing the work described above. . The best estimate of both my wife and myself was that he did actual work for less than two hours and only used parts totaling much, much less than $300. I figure generously 2 hrs at $145 plus $75 in parts = 365. I confess that I did not keep a stop watch on the time spent working nor ask for invoices on the parts but I did call other plumbers after receiving the bill and was told by several that the work as described would take "a couple of hours" and parts were minimal. Was this plumber upset that he did not get the major re-pipe job or do we just have a major discrepancy in the amount of time spent and cost of repairs. YOU DECIDE!!

This was the third time I have used Chapman's Legacy Plumbing and I have nothing but positive accolades for Kermit, the owner, his son, and the service they provide. The outer liner of my hot water heater ruptured, causing a slow leak into the garage. I called Kermit that evening and he kindly explained how to shut off the gas and water to the unit. The next morning he arrived promptly as promised to replace the unit. Upon arrival, he immediately noticed the gas line line extended two feet further from the wall than was necessary which made removal of the tank more difficult ( they had to lift the tank up and over the gas line ). He shortened the gas line and added a flex line to the tank, yet he did not charge me any more money over the original quote. He also had to rework the water line to fit the expansion tank. Two and half hours after arriving I had a functioning hot water heater working and installed at a very reasonable price. Kermit and his son both have many years of experience in the plumbing industry. Kermit is old school, meaning he does quality work- no shortcuts. He is personable and professional and I would highly recommend Chapman's Legacy Plumbing to everyone!!
