Description of Work: Install central A/C & air filtration system.

Description of Work: On the first hot day of this summer season we turned on the a/c at 10 AM and by 4 PM the house still wasn't cool. The next morning I called to request an appointment and was pleasantly surprised to get one the following day, which was a Saturday. The technician inspected our system, including attic areas, concluded we had a coolant leak, found a leak at the valve (and we hope it was the only leak), replaced the valve, and refilled the system with coolant. We ran the a/c and it now cools properly.

Description of Work: We replaced our working 16 year old horizontal furnace, evaporator coil and condensing unit/compressor because it looked like it was going to go out in the next year or two. We had done a 500 sq foot addition 2 years prior and we decided we would increase from a 3 ton to a 4 ton unit. We didn't want to be left without AC or heat on an emergency basis and we also wanted to install pavers on the side yard where the old condensing unit sat. We needed the HVAC company to be flexible enough in their scheduling to disconnect the old unit, allow the paver installers to finish the job and then return to hook up the new condensing unit on our new pavers

Description of Work: I had a Trane furnace and HEPA filter installed with all new ducting, vents, and thermostat with the furnace relocated to garage. My current system was 35 years old and located in a hall closet. I wanted a more efficient furnace as well as to move the furnace to the attic so I could reclaim the current location for a remodeling project. Garrett came to give me a bid and out of three A-rated companies on Angie's List, he had the best price and most thorough explanations and suggestions. He did not try to upsell other products and made an excellent suggestion for me to move the furnace to the garage so that I could clean the filter myself and not have to hire someone to trek back and forth on the catwalk in the attic. Garrett kept in constant contact through emails and phone calls and he and his crew worked around my schedule when signing the contract , performing the installation and arranging for a HERS rating team to test the system. (The system passed with much room to spare!) There were a few minor hiccups along the way during the installation. One of the employees stepped off the catwalk accidently and did some minor damage to the dining room ceiling drywall. Also, there was a fan and light which ceased working during the install. Garrett called me immediately and warned me about the drywall damage, and telling me that they would pay for repairs, which they did. Garrett also was able to fix the fan and light. Garrett also pulled the permit and called me to see if he could pick up the permit for my kitchen remodel while he was there! The full measure of a company is not simply their ability to supply a product at a fair price, which Thompson did, but to also keep the lines of communication open, deal professionally and honestly, be responsive to customers and to handle the bumps along the way, which Garrett dealt with most admirably! I know there are many good companies who can install HVAC systems, but dealing with Thompson was an excellent experience!

Description of Work: Our furnace stopped working recently. They came out and diagnosed the problem quickly. We decided to replace the aging system rather than repair it. They installed a new furnace and air conditioner. The compressor had to fit in an enclosure designed for a 30-year old unit.

Description of Work: I had scheduled a tune-up for both my furnace and air conditioner units. Andy checked both pieces of equipment and noted some parts that were in need of replacement as they were beyond repair. He took the time to explain what the parts do and how he was testing them, as well as the results of the tests, so that I could understand why they needed to be fixed.

Description of Work: Eric diagnosed and repaired a failed airconditioning system by analyzing the complete system, taking readings in temperature drop and examining the mechanical elements of the system and ultimately replacing the thermostat, which was the root cause.

Description of Work: Andy and another tech came back as a team and mapped my entire drainage system, inspecting it for cracks, tile separation, root penetration and other defects, using a video camera and a locating device. The system had many twists and turns from all the drain stacks, downspouts and floor drains on their way to the street. They located all the potential future issues that may affect my drain system and advised me on possible solutions, both remedial and preventative.

Description of Work: Seasonal maintenance on my a/c system. The system is less than a year old and still under warranty so Tyson made sure the refrigerant level was filled properly at no additional cost to me before the warranty expires.

Came back May 3rd interior sensor broke was the problem cost $ 39.00 for diagnosis.Came back installed interior coil with sensor $2000 (service&labor)-$800 (Lenax warrantee part replaced discounted) will be about $1214.00 for labor.New Coolant Gas Replacement cost $ is included.Total $1253 with tax included.

Description of Work: I had a yearly tune up on my house plumbing. Mat also repaired my disposal in the kitchen sink and replaced the pipes and strainer.

Description of Work: Inspection of exterior faucet and leak. Cut off water to main house, cut PVC inside home, removed old spigot and replaced with a new one, welded PVC in place and put new gate valve on exterior of home.

Description of Work: I pay their monthly svc fee of $20 so this was the AC system check, clean up, and tune up visit. He took the AC apart and gave me an educational experience about it.
