They were prompt, courteous and professional. I have several large pieces of furniture with glass and they were very careful with everything. Nothing was damaged in the move. When I changed my mind about where I wanted one large piece placed they were very cooperative about moving it. I used Noel and his crew for my move because they were recommended by a friend who was extremely happy with the job they had done for her. I would Also highly recommend them.

San Diego Short Movers moved us from our apartment to our new house!!! They were very understanding when we had to change the date because the escrow was delayed. They were very professional and understanding of this situation and moved our date. They arrived on time with all of their equipment and got right to work. The recommendations that Noel made to me before the move made everything smoother and faster (which equals cheaper). I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to my brother and his wife. I was very comfortable with the price - especially since they finished sooner than expected.

I am so angry right now. When I was trying to call him to get a date set up he said he was busy and he would call me right back. I waited for a while. He never called. So I called him back again. He said he was just getting ready to call me but that he would call me in one minute. He finally called 10-15 minutes later. We scheduled for the 26th and he asked me to email him the pictures and everything was set . I took the pictures on 7/8 and then called him to let him know I emailed the pictures. I asked him if he remembered me and he said vaguely. I reminded him that we had talked 2 days ago and set up the move to the 26th and he said "I can't do it." He said he had been booked that whole week.

The move went fine. The home where the washer and dryer were located were especially challenging due to how cramped the space was but the movers handled this without causing any damage.

Noel and his team were awesome from my first email contact with them through the final move. I got quotes from 3 movers, all with good reviews on Angie's List, and we chose San Diego Short Movers. Although it is always difficult to compare "apples to apples" (number of people on the crew, size of truck, dates available, minimums, etc.), Noel was willing to accommodate all of our needs/requests and for a competitive price. He made it clear that he would work with us on everything from the date of the move to pricing to my concern over possibly having to change the date at the last minute if it rained. On the day of the move, they were on-time and very professional. Noel had to negotiate a large truck up and around (lots of backing) a difficult, narrow driveway. He did this with ease and a smile. Noel and his crew took special care with our belongings. For example, I have a very old, fragile rocking chair that has been in the family for generations and is very dear to me. The guys were awesome with it (and everything)--very careful and sensitive to my concerns. They used plastic wrap and had loads of packing blankets. Everything came through the move perfectly. At the new house, they placed everything where we wanted it, and took care to avoid touching freshly painted walls and a still "damp" painted railway. Noel was right on in his estimate of the time the move would take (~6 hours). He was much more accurate than my guess (~3 hours...wishful thinking I now know...they worked very hard and efficiently for the entire 6 hours). We moved or packed most of the "small" stuff before they came. They moved all the furniture and pre-packed boxes and "difficult" things like the rocking chair. I highly recommend them!

I called several moving providers on Angie's List and all were booked for a week. I contacted Short Movers and explained that if my mother did not purchase the sectional today, it would no longer be available and I needed a short notice pickup and delivery. The owner, Noel stated he was booked for the week as well, however he did ask me to standby while he would see what he could do for me. He called me back within 10 minutes to tell me he could squeeze me in, as a driver would be in my area to pick up and deliver for another customer, and since it was only a few blocks each way from pickup to delivery, they could make it happen. They were a few minutes early and met me at Costco, where they carefully and expertly loaded our sectional and followed me to the drop off location, where they delivered and set up the sofa sectional and removed and placed the existing furniture in the garage. They even dusted and cleaned up the sofa a bit. I would highly recommend and suggest to anyone looking for a long or short move, to only use this provider. It is a guaranteed no hassle no brainer and I will only use them moving forward. Thank you Noel and Chris for making my mother so happy with her new furniture.

When I first contracted with San Diego Short Movers, Noel told me that he charged an hourly rate and and a fee for mileage and assured me there would be no additional charges. He asked me to send photos of the bigger items to be moved (there were many and they were big and heavy), which I did. When he was uncertain about whether he should bring a smaller truck along with his big truck, I told he we had a LOT OF STUFF and he'd better bring both trucks. Noel arrived exactly on time on the Thursday we'd agreed upon with two helpers (David and Ryan) and they began working hard immediately in a well-coordinated way with David and Ryan bringing items to the truck and Noel placing them in the truck. We moved numerous citrus trees in heavy terra cotta pots, a very large terra cotta pot planted with two cherry trees, large garden work benches, a king-sized bed, two queen-sized beds, a very large and heavy two-piece wall unit/bookcase, several heavy dressers, numerous large pictures and mirrors, three sofas, two very heavy coffee tables, and much, much more. The initial move took 14 hours and Noel and his helpers never faltered nor did they lose their good humor. This also took place on an historically hot (100 degrees) day. They left our old house at approximately 5p, arrived at the new house at approximately 5:30p and unloaded until 11p. The very next morning, Noel called to say he felt bad they hadn't be able to finish as they would have liked so they'd be back on Monday to finish. They moved all our heavy boxes of books, office chairs, more pictures and mirrors, and all the remaining stuff, even returning after they were on the freeway because they'd left something behind they remembered we wanted on the truck. All of this, both days, with amazing good humor and courtesy. After finishing up the second day, Noel tried to refuse payment for the extra day of moving but we, of course insisted he and his crew had more than earned what we paid them. Moving is never going to be enjoyable but for as long as I live in San Diego, if I ever move again, it will be Noel and San Diego Short Movers who move me. I unreservedly recommend San Diego Short Movers and I was 100% satisfied with the service.

They did a great job, were fast, professional and just did a wonderful job. I've already referred them to two of my friends planning to move in the next couple of months and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for movers. We packed all of our things and did what we could to make their work more efficient in advance t keep our costs down, and they gave us pointers on just what we could do to achieve that. Very good service.

Smooth as silk. Items were well packed and moved with a great deal of care to our home approx. 20 miles from the pick up point. Would definitely use again. Good down to earth friendly family oriented business.

Could not have gone smoother, Noel and Spencer showed up on time and the truck was packed in less that 30 minutes. The new location was about 15 miles away, everything made it with out any breakage. They put the Furniture where I needed it and stacked the boxes neatly in the corner so I could unpack them later. They were done in less than an hour.

Movers were very prompt, professional and accommodating. They were very careful with moving my furnishings so that there was no damage to furniture or walls.

Couldn't have been better.
