It went superb.  The job was completed within the timeframe given and done to our complete satisfaction.  Crew showed up everyday on time and cleaned up after themselves everyday.  Ronnie and his crew were a pleasure to work with; would use them again without hesitation.

The install went well and was done on time and on budget. The pavers look beautiful after the sealant was applied. A hot tub was placed in the middle of the area. All in all the backyard now looks perfect.

Ronnie has a great eye for design and made several valuable suggestions for my project. He was prompt with the plans and answered all questions quickly throughout the duration of the project. The crew was on time, very skilled at the paver work and accomplished everything in less than the estimated time frame. I would have appreciated them picking up after themselves a little bit better at the end of the work days but it wasn't a big deal. The finished product is absolutely beautiful and my neighbors have been very positive about the work as well. I would recommend them to anyone who is considering putting in paver stone hard scape. I'm very, very happy.

We had an excellent experience with North County Pavers. Ronnie, the owner, met with me to provide an estimate of the work we wanted done in our backyard and was on time for our appointment. He is incredibly professional and provided me with many helpful suggestions to make our backyard beautiful. We booked a start date and his crew was on time each day, worked very well together and cleaned up the worksite at the end of each day. The pavers are gorgeous and I love to walk around and just admire them. Our backyard has never been an area that I particularly enjoyed, but now that our pavers are in, I love to be out there! It was money well spent because we now have a beautiful outdoor space that we can enjoy and we are saving $$$ because it is drought tolerant. I highly recommend North County Pavers. Ronnie takes pride in his company and the work his crews produce. He is on site throughout the project to answer any question you might have and his crew is professional and hardworking.

HE SAID HE WOULD BUILD ME A PAVER SIDEWALK TO AN 18' CIRCLE PATIO. HE SAID IT WOULD COST APPROX $625.00 AND WOULD BE COMPLETED WITHIN FWEEK. HIS TEAM HAND DUG THE FOUNDATION, FILLED IT WITH THE PROPER  MATERIAL, CAREFULLY PLACED THE PAVERS IN POSITION, AND SAND FILLED THEM. HE COMPLETED IN A TIMELY MANNER (LESS THEN THE PROMISED TIME) AND CLEANED UP THE LEFT OVER MATERIAL. WE NOW HAVE A BEAUTIFUL PAVER PATIO AT THE REAR OF OUR YARD TO ENJOY OUR VIEW.
     WE WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NORTH COUNTY PAVERS FOR ANY FUTURE OUTDOOR WORK.

I am absolutely thrilled with the work and the with the whole process from the initial visit through the final completion.  I would highly recommend North County Pavers.  The owner, Ronnie Hemphill is very, very eager to please and very committed to delighting his customer.  The reviews on Angie's List were very enthusiastic about Ronnie and his company and that I is why I contacted North County Pavers.  The initial free estimate meeting was a very positive and refreshing experience.  And this was true of all the conversations that I had with Ronnie from the beginning of the process through to the end and afterwards.  I regard him as very transparent, trustworthy and competent.  And his team is the same.  I had a number of unusual configurations and circumstances in my yard and they assessed the problems and made recommendations on solutions.  I trusted their judgment and their abilities and I'm glad i did because they came up with really great ideas and solutions.  I also trusted Ronnie's eye for esthetics more that my own.  I could see how enthusiastic he was to making it look not just good, but really great almost as if he were doing his own yard.  So, I just let him implement it as he envisioned it.  It turned out spectacular.  And our friends and neighbors have universally commented that our yard now looks like a resort setting!  It is fantastic.  It is important to me to spend my money wisely.  Ronnie keeps the company's overhead and costs very low so he can pass on savings.  His price came in lower than the competitors.  I was very happy with the price, with the service and with the final results.  I can't say enough about how excellent this was.  I strongly recommend North County Pavers.  

Ronnie is very professional and easy to work with.  The yard installation timing and pricing was right on target.  Everything was done in a timely manner and the crew was very punctual daily. We have used Ronnie a few more times since the yard install and he has always come through for us. Would highly recommend North County Pavers!

Ronnie and his team were very professional, timely and it looks great!  Ronnie came out on a Tuesday and sent a team of guys to start on Wednesday as I was hosting an event and asked if it could get done in time!  They were very responsive and did a great job!  Would highly recommend!

Ronnie and his team did such a great job on this driveway and walkway that we used this company again for the driveway and walkway for another house in Orange County. This house, in  Henie Hills, in Oceanside, had been recently remodeled but the old crumbling asphalt driveway and narrow walkway to the entrance of the house ruined the undated appearance.  Ronnie was very helpful to us initially with the selection of a the size, texture and blend of colors for the pavers used.  He continued to be helpful in designing the driveway with an extension for parking another vehicle and with an artistic design for the walkway from the driveway to the entrance of the house. There had been a history of some movement in the ground in this area so the pavers were a great choice here as opposed to solid concrete.  This job was uninterrupted by rain and moved very quickly from demolition to completion.  It took only about a week to complete and is absolutely gorgeous. We couldn't be more pleased with the job and we thought the price was very good including the discount for being on Angie's list.  

The job began on about 12/9/14, but was interrupted several times by significant amounts of rain that delayed the progress related to creating a mud basin in the backyard behind the gate, etc.  The team laid sheets of plastic to protect the dirt in the driveway from becoming too muddy and continued to work through difficult cold and rainy conditions. The workers were all very good at what they did.  The bobcat driver operated the bobcat shovel like an extension of his own hand.  The worker who replaced the old bricks and laid the new used bricks was talented and creative!  As the weather allowed, the rest of the team did an extraordinary job of placing the pavers quickly, often working in the rain. Once the pavers had a chance to dry the team sealed them and they look fantastic. The pavers have a used brick look and the driveway is now perfectly in sinc with the white colonial style house to which it is attached.  There was also a suprise significant bonus for us in this job related to the fact that for 36 years we had been looking for the sewer line clean out for this house and had never been able to find it.  When North County Pavers removed the old driveway they found the sewer clean out that had been left unmarked and completely buried under the driveway when the house was built. Once it was discovered by the North County Pavers team they immediately showed it to us, capped it with a circular concrete top and designed the pavers around it so that it is now both useful and attractive.  The team checked with us frequently during the project to be sure that we were pleased with everything they did.  This was the 2nd time we had used North County Pavers.  The first time was for a driveway and walkway for a house in Oceanside and they did a really gorgeous job there as well.  We would definately use them again.

It was a pleasure to work with Ronnie and his crew.  My husband and I are very pleased with the outcome.  And when we pointed out any issues they were taken care of right away.  We would highly recommend.

I am in complete awe of the work his crew did and how it turned out. What made it more special, my husband and I worked on the remodel plans with Ronnie, unfortunately my husband passed before the project started. I decided to complete the project my husband and had planned. Ronnie went over and above what the job entailed. He didn't charge for extra work he suggested on the lay out of the back yard. He engraved the top of the fire pit in memory of my husband. I couldn't tell you how beautiful it turned out. I am so glad we picked Ronnie. He made sure I was happy with everything.

The driveway looks beautiful! The continuation of the pavers from the backyard to the path and driveway complete the project started last summer. The work was completed in only three days. The crew did the work as planned and the result is better than expected. The pavers color and texture blend perfectly with the tile roof and color scheme of this development. The comments from my neighbors and the people walking by are all positive and I sense an interest in making their driveway a statement as well. LOOK NO FURTHER!  This company provides quality, value and outstanding customer service.  My walkway and yard went from hideous to beautiful and looks so much larger!  I depended on Ronnie's expertise and vision to make suggestions regarding design and materials.  He really has talent, is very personable & accommodating.   He was patient and responsive through the whole process, always striving to meet customer needs and satisfaction.  The crew was great and very hardworking.  On time, courteous, and accomplished.  The members of this team really work well together and that makes for a job well done.   Is it Fernando that sings while he works?  That says a lot right there!  My only regret is that I didn't get this done sooner.  I will refer Ronnie and his team at every opportunity.

They started on July 23rd with a estimated time to completion of 3  weeks.... they finished on August 6th...during two of the hottest weeks we have had to date!

It went great! Ronnie, the owner, is easy to work with and very responsive. His crew showed up on time and worked hard. The job was finished in a timely manner. My patio is beautiful and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend North County Pavers.

This project was one in the making for a few years.    
We had purchased plans that were beautifully drafted by a competitor.  We had doubts and questions regarding materials and options so opened the project up to others.  North County Pavers was one of several bids we received.  One of the most appealing things about Ronnie, is that he is quite the visionary, and can draw and verbally explain his vision.  Ultimately, his bid was quite favorable but his flexibility and adaptability are what sold us. 
The demolition included tearing out stamped concrete patios, grass/vegetation and a pergola.  This was done quite expertly and quickly.  
The job was HUGE, involving a lot of electrical, new Pergolas, plumbing, etc.  Ronnie essentially acted as the general for the job, working very well with the host of other contractors.  He was very clear communicating with each, without bruising egos.  His flexibility allowed for the seamless construction of our project without doing/redoing work (as I have seen in other jobs I have had done for me.)
As the job progressed, he was able to make changes on the fly to make sure the job made sense.  eg the pergolas had built in down spouts which required alterations to the drainage.  MOST impressive, though, was his foresight.  He saw that the placement of the BBQ didn't make sense, and changed to plans accordingly.  
AND THEN THERE IS THE FIREPLACE!!!!  Ronnie recommended adding an outdoor fireplace.  We looked at the catalogs and agreed it would be a nice addition.  Ronnie bought a standard, midsize fireplace kit.  He had some great ideas as to how to customize it.  He suggested adding some accent tiles.  We worked closely with Ronnie ultimately selecting hand painted Mexican tiles.  His crew pre-treated the tiles according to the retailer (no small task) and installed them exactly as planned.  HIs other custom touches include firewood boxes, Mantle and a stone chimney.  It  is absolutely gorgeous.
At the final walk through, I was afraid (VERY afraid!!!) of what all the up charges were going to be.  Ronnie, as a man of his word told me that his bid was his bid, and that the changes (Including massive customization of the fireplace and BBQ) were included in his price.  
I could not be happier with the work, work ethic and ingenuity of Ronnie and North Coast Pavers.  I  
most highly recommend him to all who read this!!!

The driveway looks AMAZING!  NCP was on time and had our job done (670 SF total of driveway and walkway) in a week.   I saw most of the process (the digging down to 7 inches, the compacting of the gravel and sand, the leveling of the sand material AWAY from the house and lastly the setting of the pavers and cutting of most along the edges (and the sealing of course) .   It was impressive!
I liked how:
-Ronnie had the best price. He beat some of the VERY large companies that I called in regards to the per SF price.  I was also comparing "apples to apples" with a handful of companies.
-Beautiful selection of Orco pavers... mine are terra-cotta and brown colored (4 sizes, squares and rectangles)
-Ronnie helped me decide best color mix of pavers and the pattern (Villa I believe, which looks very modern) and he also had this GREAT idea to do a perimeter around everything so the driveway and walkway would really pop.  We did the permitter in a different color AND shape (antique cobble instead of the square-ish look of the driveway).  It looks INCREDIBLE!
-The workers and foreman were awesome.  The guys working on Day 1 with the bobcat and jackhammers  were there on Day 3....So they didn't hire day laborers unfamiliar with pavers to do the demo then other strangers to do the compacting then finally the "real" paver guys to do the setting and cutting.  Most of the guys were skilled in everything. 
-The quality of the cuts they had to do on some pavers was GREAT!   One paver butted up against a circular, green sprinkler drain lid in the ground and the paver literally had a half-circle cut into it.    The curves on some stones are also just as nicely cut.
Long story short, I absolutely LOVE the look of the driveway, the way the workers knew what they were doing, the price, and the design help from Ronnie.   Will definitely use NCP in the future and recommend them to friends and family !!!
