I HAVE AN ES300 2001 LEXUS WITH FOLLOWING PROBLEMS:
1. FRONT SHIMMIES - WHEN APPLYING BRAKES. SHIMMY LESS DURING HOT DAYS
2. TRUNK REAR - RED PANEL LIGHTS NOT WORKING, AND NO REVERSE WHITE LIGHTS.
SECOND TIME THIS PROBLEM. BEFORE I REPLACED 10 AMP "REAR" FUSE - THE TRANS "R" WOULD LIGHT WHEN CAR IS IN DRIVE.
3. DASH - "CHECK ENGINE & TRAC OFF" LIGHTS ARE ON.  IT COMES ON FOR A WHILE THEN GOES OUT. PLEASE RESET
This was the problems that I drove in with, and they resolve them all.  Very good service - that gave me the warm and fuzzy.

I think, they're fair and honest.  We even used them to work on our older vehicles.  They didn't overcharge us, and they didn't try to sell us some things we didn't need.

North County Auto Body, with whose service I had had 2 good experiences, recommended North County Auto Service as the place where they took their cars for regular maintenance, brake work, etc. I found North County Auto Service's personnel to be polite and friendly. Their estimate was under the final cost, but they found a number of problems in the braking system, including master cylinder leakage, and they discovered that the alternator was on the verge of failing, which probably explains some battery problems I'd been having -- as well as the subsequent, final cost of the work. Repairs to malfunctioning brakes are cheaper than a funeral, and for a woman traveling alone, NOT being stuck somewhere with a discharged battery is worth the cost of replacing the alternator.
Mike at North County Auto Body listened patiently to my explanation of what I thought was wrong, and when I picked the vehicle up, he took the time to explain to me everything they had done to repair it.
Both North County Auto Body and North County Auto Service are just a few steps from my home, and that's a big advantage for me: no hassle getting a ride or renting another car for the time being.

MICHAEL PERKINS IS ONE OF THE NICEST PEOPLE I COULD EVER WANT TO MEET. I TOTALLY TRUST HIM AND HIS SHOP. HE IS SO HELPFUL WITH EVERYTHING. HE DOES GREAT WORK AND HE LOOKS LIKE TOM SELECK!
