"member thanks for the review, we appreciate it and the work. the drywall / paint sub contractor we referred to you and you didn't like was never used again after your project I know you had a money disagreement with him a week or so after your project I found out another one of my clients had hired him on the side to do some interior painting after he had done some small paint touch ups for me in her house she loved him when he was working for me once she hired him they also had a disagreement about money and so he will never be used or referred by us again. I think he was underbidding jobs then asking for more money once he noticed he screwed up, I have underbid jobs before and I eat the loss every time its not my customers problem if I mess up a bid I believe the only time a contractor should ask for more money is if something is changed during the project ( scope of work) or an unforeseen problem is uncovered that the contractor had no way or no reason to expect. Any other reason I think is dishonesty which I will not tolerate in my operation or within my subs operations. Integrity is the foundation of this whole company ive been fortunate enough to build it will be reflected in myself , my helpers and when need any subs we will use or refer for trades we don't do such as paint, stucco or electrical"

"angieslist members you have spoken and we have heard what your saying, our process has always been that Kyle answers all calls even if he is out in the field measuring, installing whatever, lately on Mondays and Tuesdays primarily, we have been receiving more calls than Kyle can handle so starting on march 1st we will have 2 people Kyle and Tim dedicated to answering all calls our goal is that no prospective client will ever get an answering machine ever again and even if they should, their call will be returned promptly."
"thanks for the opportunity to work on that one we love the custom stuff it was a pleasure thanks"
"I apologize if we missed some communication you sent over (obviously not our intentions we strive to answer all communications the same day we receive them"
"member called I told her I was fully booked for the next couple days and therefor it would take me a couple days to get out to estimate she said that was unacceptable and asked me to provide a phone quote I said sure give me an approximate size of the window she said its a regular size so I asked like maybe 2 ft x 4ft she responded with I don't know its the normal size and started getting upset with me. I asked if it was single or dual pane she replied its just the normal kind so I reiterated I could come out in a couple days to inspect she got more upset couldn't figure out why I cant estimate a normal size window over the phone. well the answer is pretty simple I have been installing / repairing windows for close to 20 years now I still have not figured out what the normal , or regular size is, obviously im not very bright. Im sorry you were having a bad day. Thanks for the review."

I was impressed by the reviews for Kyles Glass on Angie's List so when I needed 6 dual glaze windows replaced (seals had broken and windows were fogged over) I called Kyles Glass to get an estimate. No one answered so I left a message with my name and phone number. I repeated both my name and phone number twice and spelled it for clarity. I was disappointed when I did not get a response so I found an alternate company who responded quickly and completed the job in a timely manner. I'm assuming based on other reviews that what happened to me was an exception, not a pattern with the company. Very disappointing.

"yes that glue deos have a strong odor unfortunatly its the only option special glue (mirror mastics) must be used so as not to damage the mirror backing there are a couple diffrent ones on the market the one thing they all have in common is all of them have a strong odor. the better the air circulation in the area of the mirror the quicker it will dry and the smell will go away. fans can help greatly. thanks for the buissness and the review enjoy the new mirror."
"ahh you did use the coupon as you told me you were an angielist member when you initially called i automatically applied the 10% discount to the new door. thanks for the buissness im sure that door will work smoothly and safely for you for many, many years to come thanks"
