Overall they did a great job and we've had no leaks or issues since the job was completed in January 2010...

I had received a recommendation for 2 roofing companies from my local realtor. I wanted to collect 3 estimates and got 2, but General Roofing indicated that they would not be able to provide one for at least 2 weeks. I wasn't in a hurry (no active leaks) so I decided to wait. They called in approx 10 days to make sure i was still interested and they came out the very next day. Their estimate was the most expensive but by just a very small amount. They also dropped off a shingle sample sheet and provided the address of several houses that had similar shinlges to what I thought I liked to help me decide. I chose their company because they appeared to be the most professional and warrantied their workmanship. I was surprised after I accepted the proposal that they could get my job started with about 10 days. Was able to start and finish in 3-4 days sandwiched in between rain storms. Their crew was there by 8 am and was hard at work every time I checked in on them. I didn't know that much about roofing so I called a friend over and he confirmed that he thought they were doing a very high quality job based on the felt, number of nails etc. Seemed to all make sense but roofing is neither a hobby nor passion so everything sorta went in one ear and out the other. The crew cleaned up everything at the end of each day and was easy to communicate with. A roof is just a roof, but wow, it sure makes a difference in the overall appearance and I won't have to worry about a new roof for years. Very happy with the experience, ease of working with General Roofing and quaility of their work. Would recommend to anyone.
