Michael promptly responded to my request, showed up on time, gave me an honest evaluation and quoted me a reasonable price. What a relief after initially interviewing an electrician who never showed up, nor responded to my email asking where he was an hour after he was to show up for the appointment; then another electrician who wanted to do more work than was necessary which would have cost 3 times what Michael charged me! After I hired Michael, he sent Edward, his associate to do the work. I was equally impressed with Edward, as he too was very professional and friendly, did a great job. AC Electric restored my trust in contractors available through Home Advisor, after an additional bad experience with a furnace installer. The furnace installer made substantial mistakes, but refused to take responsibility, claiming that PG&E didn't know what they were doing by connecting a wire that went unnoticed. PG&E finally stopped the furnace from overheating, which was straining unable to emit air through the vents-they saved the furnace and possibly my house; nor would he acknowledge that he forgot to turn the gas to the water heater back on after installing the furnace, which we found after the concerned tenant complained-not to mention his arrogant attitude! If I ever have trouble with the furnace, I'll call someone else-never him again! Thank you, AC Electric! Sandra G Marin County

Edward was right on time and knew exactly what was needed and how to do it. He went right to work and finished promptly.

Received very prompt response to Home Advisor posting, Work was completed knowledgeably and efficiently. Hiring AC Electric was a very good decision.

Electric supply-panel and gooseneck were pulled off house by downed utility power line in storm. Got call from AC shortly after posting for help on HomeAdvisor. They were nearby, came over promptly, coordinated with PG&E to reattach supply and replaced the panel and gooseneck in the same day and at a very reasonable cost. Needless to say I was very happy with the result. Definitely 5 stars.

I was contacted right away and someone came out that same afternoon . The electrician was able to locate the problem and explained the procedures needed. It seems that there will be an upgrade needed in the future.

Spoke with the owner and was given a price, but when the installer finished the job, he charged me more. Disappointed.

Very thorough, and best price

Edward changed out 5 fluorescent recessed fixtures for LED recessed fixtures, and also moved a large ceiling fixture in my kitchen a few inches which allowed a cabinet door to be fully opened, which it had never been able to do before. I had originally called for an electrician because I had messed up a closet fixture and it needed to be reinstalled, but while he was there taking care of that, I asked him about all of the other things which had bugged me for years. Not only could he take care of them but he could do the work RIGHT THEN. The whole project was taken care of in a few hours and I am delighted with the results. Thank you, Edward.
