Description of Work: Isaac and his guys did a perfect job. I had a huge solid wrought iron fence on a retaining wall that was about to fall over. If only the original company who put the fence in added the proper supports that Isaac knew it needed. Upon looking at the job he knew exactly what to do,and even suggested larger plates that 2 other companies suggested, making it even stronger without losing any aesthetics. they were prompt, showed when they said they would, were professional, and did a great job. He is the only wrought iron company I would suggest to people now.

Description of Work: They did a very nice good of installing a wrought iron handrail on my front porch. They were very careful to not crack the brick that covers the porch. Showed up on time for the estimate and again for the installation.

Description of Work: Called Isaac's to fabricate and install a railing on my front steps. They were a joy to work with from the initial call, to the design sketches/estimates, and the final product.

Description of Work: Bid was requested by us, though we were unable to follow through on project (not at all Isaac's Ironworks fault). Company seems quite professional, does a wide range of metal work.

Description of Work: First of all When the owner came to our house to look at what we wanted 2 gates and a side panel. He measured and gave use a price. We gave him 1/3 the required amount and asked for a receipt. He did have any so he agreed to e-mail us one. We mentioned we wanted it done immediately and agreed to wait his required 2 weeks to have the gate installed. When the 2nd week came around, we called his office because he had not sent us a receipt nor a written agreement of what had been said. We also asked his office personnel what day he was coming over to do the work. 2 days later we called again because we had no response from his personnel office staff. Spoke with a staff member that informed us of the delay. We would not settled for a delay and called his direct line to remind him of the verbal agreement. |He came through and installed the gates 5 days late. When I asked for a senior discount to appease us he didn't budge even when he wanted the reminder in CASH if "WE had it." | |

Description of Work: I called Isaak because he was recommended highly on Angies list. And of course, there is his video of Ellen de Generes waxing poetic about how wonderful he was when he worked for her. But, if you are not a celebrity and need minor work done, don't expect to be treated the same way. Isaac came out promptly and gave me an estimate to remove an open wrought iron back on my driveway gate with a solid piece of wrought iron which I wanted for more privacy. First he suggested I just put the solid piece behind the open grated piece. I asked if that wouldn't make the gate too heavy and he said no. I asked him why he would do that and he said, "less work" to have to remove a piece and then install another piece. We agreed to remove the open piece and install the solid piece. He left, sent me an estimate via email. I called and approved of the estimate and they said they would put me on the list. I didn't hear from him for 2 weeks, called him back at which point he came out and took exact measurements. AND, he took a $300 deposit . Again, another 2 1/2 weeks go by and I call him back again. He said to be patient since I was a new client! Finally, after holding my deposit for 3 1/2 weeks I call back and we made an appointment for 9:00 am, the following week. His men show up at 11:00 am (!). They remove the open piece and add the solid piece, did a decent job, but the gate is now incredibly heavy to open and close. How would it have been if we had done what Isaak originally suggested and just put the solid piece over the open piece (because it would have been less work) !!

Description of Work: Big waste of my time! He came out to give me a bid and never followed -up. Kept name dropping some movie star's house he's doing.
