Description of Work: Air Conditioning had gone out while we were away. Called former provider who couldn't even check unit for two weeks! Alex had serviced washer recently and felt trustworthy and knowledgeable so called around 9 am. He promised between two and four that afternoon and he arrived as promised and checked out the unit and diagnosed the problem as a fan motor and blade. He went to get the parts and returned about 6 pm and had the equipment up and running in short time. Showed us the ruined parts, so we could see the problems. Access to the unit is in my closet so I was very pleased with his carefulness and minimal "mess" as well as the speed of response.

The person who came out really knew his work and quickly and effectively fixed our problem. The price seemed a little high to replace a piece of plastic tubing that had a hole in it, but because they were so quick and helpful, that was OK.

Description of Work: DIAGNOSED THE PROBLEM WITH MY WASHER. SPENT TIME AND CONTACTED MAYTAG. AUTHORIZED REPAIR AND RETURNED THE NEXT DAY WITH PART TO INSTALL. TESTED AND WAITED AND IT RAN. I WASHED 2 LOADS THE NEXT DAY AND THE PROBLEM RETURNED(WOULD NOT LOCK, SO WOULD NOT RINSE) I CALLED HIM BACK, AND HE REMOVED THE NEW PART AND RETURNED MY CHECK, PER AGREEMENT, AND SUGGESTED IT WAS NOT WORTH FIXING. I APPRECIATED HIS HONESTY, PROFESSIONALISM AND WILLINGNESS TO TRY.

Description of Work: I purchased a $30 Big Deal for a Large Appliance Service Call. They couldn't repair the appliance because of an electrical problem. They performed no repairs for me, but did help us in telling us in was an electrical problem which was helpful because we could then turn to a proper service provider.
