Description of Work: They Contacted Us Promptly With A Quote, But Their Price Was Higher Than Competitors', So We Didn't Use Them.

Description of Work: We use Around the Clock for everything - they have fixed our washing machine, heating in our house. They do a great job and are very reliable.

Description of Work: Service person showed up on time and described our problem. We decided not to fix it, for now, so we just paid the service charge for the man to come by. Our Gaggenau cook top is over 25 years old, so fixing it is not easy, nor are the parts easily accessible.

Description of Work: My dishwasher was not pumping out the water. I was told that the garbage disposal, that was installed with a groupon a month ago, was not put in properly. There is a hole for dishwater to disperse through it which was not accessed. My dishwasher water pump was working so hard to pump out the water without the outlet, it needed to be replaced. Oleg came, did the check, located the problem and fixed everything in about one hour.

Description of Work: I was referred to Around the Clock by another Angie's list provider who said his he didn't have a dishwasher repair person right now. He gave me the boss' name and suggested that I call them to get my dishwasher repaired. The person who answered the phone was very short and curt with me in taking my information. I found the conversation so unpleasant that I told her I needed to go and might call later. I will not ever call this company again.

Description of Work: Sasha arrived right on time, and after taking a look at my "dead" microwave, gave me a detailed explanation of what could be wrong with it, and estimates of what it would take to repair it under the different scenarios. He shared that any repair over $250 would probably not be optimal considering the age of the microwave - getting a new one would be a better choice. Fortunately when he unplugged and re-plugged the device, it flickered to life. Diagnosis is that the computer board is getting old and will wear out soon. I will need to buy a new microwave.... I appreciated Sasha's honesty. No unnecessary attempts at repair, great advice regarding what to look for in a new microwave, and no charges over and above the service call. Nice to find a company you can trust!
