ABLE RAIN GUTTER

I think they did a good job. It looks nice. They did the repairs that I wanted done. It just wasn't eligible to do under the coupon. Something didn't work with the coupon so I just have to pay out of pocket. They came when they said they were going to come. From what I can tell, it looks good and gutter is working so that's good. I didn't compare pricing. I had to call them back to do a follow up on a lot of things. They charged me wrong and then I had to get it fixed because they gave me the wrong quote.

The work was never done. My initial call was well received and a workman came out to give an initial estimate. He was very professional and a nice guy. He inspected the gutters and informed me of the work to be done. He was going to repair a downspout and reattach a loose gutter on the second floor eves. I liked his professionalism. I felt comfortable enough to give him the job, so I asked him to set a date for the cleaning. He informed me that I should call the office to schedule the work so I did that same day. 
Unfortunately, no one turned up on the scheduled day in which I stayed home to meet the workman and pay them after the job was completed.  I expected to get a phone call after the missed appointment but none came. I called Able Rain Gutter two days later to see what happened. I talked to a gentleman who apologized and set up another appointment. They didn't come that day either. I was very disappointed and did not call them again. I never received a call from them explaining what happened the second time, so I left it there and hired someone else to do the work.

They came out on time and were great. They were more in line in the way of getting it done and their price was better than others.

Contractor was responsive to our initial call. Did work the same day. Quality was excellent and gutters matched the color of our house without painting.

They arrived on time and measured the house for new gutters and downspouts.  They showed me the different types of gutters I could use and suggested ways on how best to install them.  The gutters came in a variety of colors and installation would be 1-2 days.  I was pleased that they had the proper worker comp insurance as their staff would be on ladders.  Overall I was very pleased with their estimate.

they showed up about 20 min. earlier than scheduled and completed the job in about an hour.

Kevin came out to my house and gave me a quote to repair one gutter, clean all gutters and add a down spout.  Scope of the work to total $537.00  I called the office the next week and scheduled the service.  On the day of service Wendy called me and said she had double booked my job and could they move it to the afternoon.  I said sure.  That afternoon someone who did not identify himself called me, thinking he was calling the office, and said "Tell her we can't do her job today".  When I told the caller he had dialed the customer he quickly backtracked and said they would not be able to make it out to my house until late today so could he reschedule AGAIN.  I said ok should I call the office to reschedule.  He said no, that Wendy would call me.  I did not hear from Wendy until 2 days later when she called at 8:30am to tell me I was scheduled for between 9 and 9:30 that day but could they move me to the afternoon.  By this point I already had two other companies lined up to come out and bid the job so I told her I didn't need their services anymore and that I couldn't believe she hadn't contacted me prior to today.  She said it was because she didn't have the schedule until today.  I explained to her that you have to let people know ahead of time, to which she responded, "Well you don't have to be home when the work is done".  Able Rain Gutters has cleaned my gutters in the past and done a fine job.  However, that was over three years ago and this recent incident has them off my list of vendors for sure.  They do not have any regard for their customer's time and are very unprofessional

After calling several companies to see what they said over the phone, I found Able Rain Gutter to be the most responsive.  Some gutter companies really were not interested in doing repair work to my gutter system, they wanted to steer me into replacing the whole system. Ron at Able suggested that he install splash sheild on all the gutters rather than go to the expense of replacing the existing gutter with new, wider gutters.  They sent and inspector to come out and take a look at the house without me having to be home.  This is a huge help as I was able to go to work.  The inspector dropped off a chart of color options on my front porch so my wife and I could try to match the color as close as possible to the existing color.  We picked a color, called Ron back and he ordered the splash sheild and scheduled our service date.  Able did have to reschedule my gutter service because the forecast showed rain on my scheduled date.
On the morning of the scheduled install Ron called twice to say they were running late due to the first job of the day running longer than expected.  I appreciated those calls.  This caused me to shuffle around my schedule because I wanted to be home when they started working to make sure they stayed off my tile roof, of which we just had replaced major sections.  
It was a good overall experience and I recommend them.  They did leave behind a cordless drill and a box of hardware, which they called to say they would be by to pick up.

I called to schedule an estimate, Ron came out, provided education as well as a fair estimate.
The work was completed quickly, on time and with care to our yard.  The clean up was excellent and the gutters look great.
I would have no reservations about recommending this company.

Went very well.  The man came out on time to measure and give me the estimate for the cost. discussed my preferences regarding placement of the downspouts, and the need for their placements. He had a selection of colors to choose from and was very professional.  They arrived on time and completed their work efficiently.

They were very accomodating.  Rescheduled at my request.

The service, the personnel and the product was excellent, from beginning to end.

The vendor came out to provide a quote but then did a no call, no show, and did not return our follow-up calls. DO NOT USE!!

I made an appointment for 11/28 but on that day, someone from the company called me saying I was outside their service area. The reception on the phone when I spoke to the company was very poor, which obviously, is not their fault at all!  I was told they would call me back to assess whether the job I had would be worth if for them to come out and do the job, as it would likely be more than the Deal, but I never heard back from him. My intuition tells me that they were not interested as I was too far out.

the installation was good and  very professional - I have to say I wish all professionals were like Able Rain gutter - although they are not the slickest company in town - (in that they are not the fastest nor provide you with fanciest reports) - they are the most solid company I have seen in a long time - the boss( I guess owner - Ron ) phoned me several times setting up the job -  I do have to say they did drop the ball  a few times in setting up the  initial visit but in their defense they did follow up  afterwards - also Richard who came to install the gutter was technically very good and professional  - he did not try to sell me any extra services but actually helped fix a cracked tile I had on my roof - I also  had a very tricky connection where it connected to the main pipe - he kept on trying all kinds of combination until he got it perfect - it is small acts like that I think speaks for pride in their workmanship
 
I guess if you give Able Rain gutter the chance of providing service , you will not be disappointed
also they did give the best price around ( but I think they are worth more  than just a cheap price )

Excellent. Richard did the install with his assistant. They look great and work beautifully. I had to remove 66% in order to do some facia repairs. Able without hesitation wanted to keep the price low and worked with the existing gutters. They also gave me the Angie's discount. I would definitely recommennd Able again. I plan to use them to clean my gutters in the future.

Only issue was some early on scheduling confirmation with the office.  I had to call the owners mobile phone to get the committment on date and time of service.

Called and schedule appointment for October 11th.   They never showed up and never called.
I called them back 10 days later still have not got them to come out.

They arrived at time specified and introduced themselves and went right to work.  They left everything very clean and removed all of the old gutters.

This is a great group of folks and I would definitely recommend them.  I had my work bid the day after I called to request a quote and I have the work performed within 2 days.  The team did great work and even took the time to destroy a wasps nest that was under my roof line.

The company sent out an inspector and gave me a proposal the same day. The work was done the next day.  The technician was very knowledge and courteous.

They arrived on time, went directly to work and finished in about 2 hours.

We called Able Rain Gutter Cleaning & Repair and made an appointment to get an estimate. 

No one appeared on the scheduled date and time; and we did we receive a call indicating why the appointment was missed.  After waiting most of the day, we called Able and left a message to determine what happened and to see if they were still interested in our business.

It's been two days since we left a message and we still have not heard from them.

Very unprofessional!
