One of the air conditioner units stopped working on Thursday night. Called them Friday morning and they were able to send someone the same day. They were here sooner than expected. We were very satisfied with the service.

We have a mini-split air conditioner unit (the A/C is mounted on the wall without ductwork and the condenser is outside). We forgot who sold it to us and installed it 7 years ago, and it was leaking water down the wall. We learned that very few repair companies will work on those units for inexplicable reasons. After multiple refusals, and missed appointments from two other companies that deigned to work on it (but never showed up), we joined Angie's list and found Aladdin. They were absolutely first rate, and we could not be happier. Our appointment was scheduled within two days during a heat wave. Brad and the others who worked the phones were total pros and we had the rare experience of speaking with people who actually knew what they were doing, and did it very well. The technician, Wayne, was punctual, professional, and within less than one hour, he fixed the problem that nobody else would touch. It was a real pleasure (and a relief!) to find and work with truly professional experts who care about quality and service,and deliver. So much so, that this is the first time that I have ever been motivated to review anything on any site.

After the house stopped cooling at night during 100 degree whether, I called in the early morning (6:30 a.m.). I spoke with Candy and then Cindy (dispatcher). Both were very pleasant. I mentioned being an Angie's list customer, which seemed to perk up everyone's ears. I asked for the earliest available time, and I was told that a service professional could come out between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Jesse was able to get to our house early at 9'ish. He inspected the a/c unit, and pointed out some poor installation issues with furnace as well as sketchy wiring (lots of rust and exposed wires). He noted that these would need to be fixed, but they could wait for another day. He also explained some problems with the capacitor and starter unit. Jesse showed me where an 8" duct had become disconnected in the attic. He ordered a new duct (to arrive the next day - and I'm assuming the install will go well). In the meantime, at my request, he, Jerry, rigged (with duct tape) the current torn duct. At least for today, we have a cool home again... Overall, service seemed honest and straightforward. I'm sure I could have found cheaper repair folks, but Jesse/Aladdin seem to know what they are doing (so perhaps you get what you pay for). As a follow-up to my 9-5-13 post, Justin came out today, on time, to install the duct work. Poor guy had to crawl around in my hot attic (well above the 108 degrees outside in the valley). Air is flowing nicely now...

Representative who came to our house was very knowledgeable, professional, and polite. He explained what he was doing, why he was doing it. He gave a good overview of how the heating a cooling system operated at our residence and potential issues that could arise. I know have a better understanding our system and peace of mind. I will use them again in the future.

The workman was professional punctual and after the $77 assessment said it would be smart if I paid the annual contract to be sure that I had heat, he then procceded to fix it only have it break the next day. He came back out and said it had to be replaced and was unfixable. Basically I was without heat for 4 months until the landlord finally put a new one in in April.

I figured out the problem. However, I was not certain. So I called Aladdin and many others to get an estimate. Aladdin employees were professional, and one technician even mentioned that I have figured out the root cause of the problem and fix it myself (I was pleasantly surprised). They followed up next day to see if the problem was solved. Since I wanted to be certain, I called them up to fix it. The technician was prompt and professional. He agreed with my diagnosis. However, the estimate for repair was too high (in my opinion). They asked $350 for a $22 transformer. Although it seems excessive, it could be part of their business model and not everyone could diagnose the problem as I did (in this case). Given their professionalism, I will use them again in case of other problem and would be happy to recommend them.

Justin arrived at 2:00pm sharp and I was so happy because the filter would be changed earlier in the day. I had intended to find an a/c company a month ago but got too busy and never followed up on it. So our air filter became very dirty and had to be changed immediately. We have had extremely warm days this August in the Valley so the a/c had to be on during the day. Justin inspected our a/c system and pointed out a few problems that were slowing the flow of air and reducing the quality of the air too. He told me exactly what he was going to do and followed up on everything perfectly. It is the evening now and still very hot outside; I am so grateful that our a/c is working well and my whole family can sleep well tonight. I recommend Aladdin highly to help you maintain your a/c and heating system Thank you Justin!

This is one of the most professional companies we have ever had the pleasure to deal with. From the receptionist to Jesse, the technician who provided the service, they showed a high level of professionalism, knowledge and competence. Jesse explained A/C issues in a clear and thorough manner and his attitude was friendly and personable. Over all, we are very impressed and have signed up for a maintenance agreement. We feel confident that with Alladin's help, our system will run efficiently for years to come. Our issue was of a noise coming from the furnace. It didn't take Jesse long to accurately diagnose it as a collapsed fan blade. Within minutes, he made a call to his office even though it was close to 6:00 pm. At the office, Dean, the person in charge of parts, managed to contact the manufacturer and send one of his driver's to pick up the replacement parts we needed. Jesse installed the replacement parts the following afternoon and our system was back and working (better than the previous two years). Impressive indeed!

It went fantastic from Rocky Rocco who was the sales person to Kyle McCurdy and Justin Pibillo the technicians. They were professional the work was clean and quality was excellent. They came on time and delivered everything that was agreed too. I was happy with the price and I highly recommend these guys.

They call every six months to schedule the maintenance work. They are the most professional company I have ever dealt with. They always do a great job and follow up after the work. Their service has been excellent!

Found the company on Angie's and saw it had many satisfied customers so I called. It was in the middle of a heat wave last year. When the serviceman came out and saw I was a grey haired old lady, he said I needed the work done as soon as possible. We talked prices and I signed on. I was so pleased with the punctuality and the speed of ordering and installing. Throughout the men were polite and professional. I was told not to run the a/c if only warm air was coming out as I had done for little relief.

Tom Stanley was the contact from Aladdin. He came out and gave me one of three quotes for replacement of the HVAC system in my 1978-built home [we were upgrading from the original equipment]. I got prices for both the basic systems they offered, as well as more energy-efficient models....we decided on a 17 SEER A/C unit. Since Aladdin's quote was good, AND Tom was professional, responded to all of my queries quickly, and had no problems getting the job appropriately permitted we went with them. [note for those in-the-know: our quote did not include removal of the original aesbestos-containing ductwork, which was ~$800 to PW Stephens] The installation crew included Jaime, Cheno, and Jason S. They came out over two days and did the install. They were polite, responsive, and articulate. I've waited to write the review until the inspector arrived to sign off on the work, which happend this morning.... There were no corrections requested, and he said the job was 'professional.' I consider the whole experience to be 'A-worthy!'

Called another company, they failed to arrive in a timely manner. Aladdin & specifically Brett, could not have been more professional. He arrived within an hour of my call! He gave clear explanations and completed the job expeditiously.

The service technician arrived promptly and was very courteous. He did an evaluation of the HVAC and AC, and gave me an estimate of the total cost before performing the work. He worked quickly and cleanly. In the end, he went over all the repairs that he performed. I look forward to taking advantage of their maintenance plan.

I had an air conditioner leak that caused water damage to my ceiling. I called Aladdin and had a technician return my call. He helped me work out the problem over the phone. I spoke with him for maybe 10 minutes and he gave me some directions which solved the problem without a service call or charge. I really appreciate the time he took and I will definitely use Aladdin for any future service or maintenance needs.

Aladdin was great. I called to schedule an appt when my a/c went out during a heat wave. I called two other companies on Angie's List because they were listed first for my area, but neither of them called me back. I then called Alladin and they were great. They rearranged the schedule to fit me in that same day. Wayne arrived that evening and was very polite and professional. He immediately went to work climbing and down the roof several times in the heat (my a/c is on the roof). He always had a smile on his face and was very pleasant. He took time to explain the problem and answer my questions. Although it was more than I had expected to pay, I trusted his diagnosis. I would highly recommend Wayne and Aladdin to anyone. I am very pleased with the service and response.

It went very well, Kyle came on time. Was extremely polite and professional the entire time. Always wore those shoe socks in the house to make sure he's not tracking anything in the house. Also got the maintenance package, which seemed like a good deal where they'll come out again to service the furnace in the winter.

Awesome. First off,Soren, the service manager was very professional, courteous and patient with me while I complained that my 3 year old a/c unit (which Aladdin did not install) had stopped working on the hottest day of the year. He got someone out there as soon as possible. Wayne arrived at 2pm on the hottest day of the year and listened to all the symptoms I listed, and then jumped up on the roof of my 2 story home in at least 105 degree heat to figure out the problem. After a through examination, he came back down and showed me photos he took of a very hidden wire that had somehow frayed against another piece of metal and was causing the short. He repaired it and also assessed the rest of the unit, ducting, vents and returns and gave me some good advice and service. This sounds like a little job but it was actually very tricky to find the cause of the problem. Wayne was simply awesome in every way and provided professional and knowledgeable service. I won't hesitate from calling Aladdin again. As a matter of fact, I purchased a service contract for my upstairs unit to go along with the downstairs unit that they installed earlier in the year. They're good guys and pros.

We were very pleased with our experience. Tom came out and did a thorough inspection, then explained all options. He worked with us to schedule removal of asbestos ducts one day ahead of the new equipment installation. He also scheduled one of their layout people to come out and design the new ducting system so many parts could be fabricated in advance to reduce installation time. Scheduling was perfect and Aladdin arrived early on installation day with a large crew and all the needed new equipment. They laid tarps inside the house to minimize tracked-in dirt. They estimated one day for the total job and met that finishing at about 5:30 PM. Crew was friendly and courteous. At conclusion, one of the foreman walked me through the entire installation and answered questions.

Been doing remodeling for the past three months. Needless to say that there are always problems and delays during the project. I was fed up with various types of workers that I have hired for different kinds of work. Aladdin......What a great company! The employees, from sales, technical, installation to service are very well trained. I wish all the companies would be like them! They are punctual, polite, knowledgeable, and well mannered. I highly recommend them to anyone who needs HVAC services. You will be very impressed!

Although, this may sound like a simple thing to diagnose and fix, it was not. There was water flooding on floor near a/c. At first called handyman to see if pipe had broken underground. He said could be a/c drain problem. We called less expensive company. They said it was clogged drain pipe from a/c. They charged us and cleared it. Flooding happened again. Other company came back and jerry-rigged a pipe with a pump and charged us. Flooding continued. Other company talked about breaking the wall or cement and putting in new drain pipe. We called plumber to see if this was necessary and could we trust this company. He knew them, said other company was trustworthy and said the drain seemed blocked when he put his metal snake down it. We asked other company to try clearing it again before we agreed to construction. They came back with flexible snake this time. Snake went through underground pipe with no problem. Their was never any blockege, just unflexible metal snake had been used. Charged us again. While cleaning the other company found we had very dirty coil. Said this was big job and gave us quote around $900. We shopped around. One guy said he would do it for $450 without even seeing the unit. We said we wanted to make sure this was the REAL problem this time and THIS TIME we went on Angies List to find a KNOWLEDABLE company that would get it right the FIRST TIME. Now we understand how every situation is different, every system is different, but the truth is it's all guess work for every technician, UNLESS THEY GUARANTEE THEIR WORK . Alladin did charge us for diagnosis, but could guarantee this was the problem and also told us what we need to do to keep the problem from coming back. Our a/c system was new, but did not have a secure filter base to keep this from happening again!! They charged us $2500 for filter base part and installation, cleaning coil (which is a big and delicate job) which demands you take it out and install it again and cleaning up water and everything else. Now, believe me, we would love to have paid less, but by the time we added up all the expenses we paid bit by bit, it came to MORE! We just wanted it FIXED!!!! Alladin was EXCELLENT at being HONEST and KNOWLEDGABLE, and guaranteeing when they leave, the job is FIXED!! As far as their actual work goes, two servicemen named Jose came on time, even the Service Manager, Souren, came personally that morning because he felt bad for us and wanted to make sure everything was going smoothly. The job took 4 hours. It was a lot of work and a mess, but they cleaned everything thoroughly when they were done. Soren called several times during the day to check in as well. Because of the work they did we don't have to keep our air on all the time either. it's actually cold in the house much faster. So here's the deal. Don't be scared off by the price. They will tell you the truth. (And yes, we don't want to hear the truth sometimes because it is painful) so we want to go with someone cheaper, but if you need a company who will finally do the job RIGHT call Alladin. They are trustworthy and will diagnose correctly.

Since I was at work, my husband was here to supervise. He was our contractor who hired tradesmen to put our house back together after the 1994 earthquake - so he knows good work when he sees it. My first Angie's List hire and Aladdin did not disappoint. My husband said that they showed up on time, understood the problem, did a very professional job, finished on time and were meticulous in their cleanup. I came home and went to my study - and NOW it feels cool without 3 extra portable fans. Both Jason and Jose took VERY good care of us. Thanks to all who directed us to them!

Vendor called me to arrange visit, but was unable to reach me. I called her back later in the week, appointment scheduled, no worries!
