Well, like I said the flowers were delivered a day late and at 4:30pm. There was supposed to be no one home that day, so I would have to have them left on a porch...If you wanted me to come back and use you again, I would have comped the flowers this time and hoped that I would I would reconsider the next time I send flowers to my daughter...which is at least three to four times a year.....This employee completely destroyed an opportunity to make a satisfied customer with her condesending attitude...as if this was my fault that she didn't have the flowers and didn't place a call to me!!!!! I will never use them again......the order was to go to 30605 Fox Sedge Way, Murrieta, Ca 92563...my home is 4213 Maybank Ave., Lakewwod, Ca 90712..... I am pleased that this info will be provided to the provider...or how else will she know what her employee's are doing?????
Description of Work: I have used Murrieta VIP in the past and had no problems...nice flowers. This time I needed flowers for my daughter, who's 2 yr old had surgery and was in the hospital for 4 days.....I ordered two flower arrangements to go to two separate locations. I began my conversation with...can you deliver flowers today, do you have gerber daisies and do you have my phone number??? the answer to all three questions was YES... because I live 2 hrs away from my daughter I can only hope that when I order flowers they are beautiful and worth the price I paid....I talked with my daughter three times yesterday and she never mentioned getting flowers...so today, 2/14/13 when she called I asked and she never received them... So did both places not get their flowers,,,I placed a called and the employee said oh yes I know that order and it is on the truck for today!!!! I said, they were to be delivered yesterday!! her response was, well I didn't have any gerber daisies so I didn't send them out!!!! I told her that I had asked if they had the flowers before I placed the order and was told they had them..then I asked, well if you didin't have the flowers that I asked for why didn't you call me? answer...well I sould have...but they are on the truck for today...I will upgrade the flowers for you...I told her that I would have arranged for different flowers because yesterday was the day I needed the flowers sent!!! Her response to me was ...I had 216 orders to go out yesterday....so?????what if it was a wedding or funeral...what good do flowers the next day do???? She then told me she would upgrade my order....Well how could she, they were on the truck!!! Her tone was more like, I made a mistake so why don't you get over it ...I mean I told you I would up grade your flowers!!! what kind of independent busness talks with their clients like that? My flowers should have been delivered and given for free at that point.....She called me honey so many times I wanted to scream and told me that my daughter's situation was unfortunate but not her fault???????? When I told her that there would be no one home to get the flowers on the 14th, that day, she did say that she would deliver them on a day that she would be home....sorry, but you missed the day that they were needed, so your offer is no longer acceptable..I did place a call to my daughter's home and my son-in-law was walking out of the house as I had anticipated....I told him at that time I would have the flowers left on the porch....I began to call back the florist with the new instructions when my son-in-law called me and told me that someone came by while he was leaving with flowers. Therefore, I called the florist told them the flowers were delivered,,,,, at 4:30pm the day after they were to be delivered, I told her I was done with the situation and that I would never use them again for flowers in Murrieta. This was not the owner that I was talking with, only an employee. There is no way she would handle it the way that her employee did. I was so taken back my this employee's behavior...I know it was Valentine's Day and I know that she was probably swamped....but I had already spent over a hundred dollars with them and I should have been taken care of and compensated for the mistake. More than anything it was the tone that she spoke to me with as if this was my fault and get over it I sent our flowers out today!!!! I would never again use this florist and it is so sad because I know the owner would be devestated to loose a returning customer who doesn't even live in the area!!! So I will make sure she is aware of the situation and the employees just don't talk behind my back and sweep it under the carpet as a bit*** customer. P.S. the other order I was told, was delivered....it only went six doors down from them to an emergency vet and it was a plant...I can only hope it was nice.... Sincerely, Gail M. Little
