Mike is a small business owner with 24 years experience installing HVAC units.  He impressed us with his knowledge of the field by thoroughly answering all our questions and addressing any concerns during the estimate phase in a very clear manner.  He comes across as very low-key and honest.  We obtained several other estimates, and another company gave us a quote very close to the one from Approved; however, that company sent us a salesman for the estimate who also tried to sell us additional equipment.  Mike did not try to oversell us equipment that we did not need.  He recommended the Armstrong equipment because of its excellent track record and warranty.  The standard system warranty is 10 year parts, 10 years labor, 10 years on the  compressor and lifetime on the heat exchanger.  Since Mike would also be installing the equipment, it gave us more confidence in what to expect.  He arrived at the promised time and worked hard with only a brief lunch break. When unforeseen problems occurred, he tackled them and found solutions without losing his upbeat demeanor. He had to add a pump and did not charge us extra because it had not been on the original estimate.  He was very clean and left our home in the condition he found it.  One year of preventive maintenance (2 visits bi-annually is also included in the total price.  We are very happy with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him to friends and family.

I am very pleased with the way the work was performed. They showed up on time on the scheduled day with all of their equipment and started work right away. The work was performed professionally with no mess, no loud noise, no shouting and very courteous workers.

Mike was very professional throughout  the entire project. The removal and installation was efficient and very well done, a neat clean professional job. Although it is June and we don't need heat or air at this time the system tested good, we are  pleased and would/do  recommend Mike and Approved Air.

Just got off the phone with Mike. He was extremely willing to give his professional opinion and wealth of knowledge on furnace heaters to me, even though he wasn't going to be making any sale with me. I told him up front that I suspected that I'd been taken advantage of by a sneaky tenant and the unit was already purchased. It was also the very end of the day and I am really grateful that he took a few extra minutes after 5:00 to make sure I had all my questions answered. Mike, (owner), was very thorough in explaining what he felt I needed to do to replace the old system. He was very patient as I had 2 other vendors bid on this job and answered other questions that came up and as I researched the topic more. Approved had the most competitive bid and I felt 'good' about working with Mike from the outset. He was on time for the estimate call as well as all 3 days he worked, (BTW, the coldest days of the year!!). He put down drop cloths, put on booties and cleaned up each day. I would recommend Approved Air to anyone.

Very well. This was not easy work. Mike and his son were always pleasant, the work was well done, all was done as promised. Protected carpets and surfaces while working. Cleanup was spotless. We are very pleased. Would recommend him highly.

Mike is excellent! He's knowledgeable, helpful, personable and determined to do a superior job. He presented his bid, based on our needs, made recommendations, and provided us with firm prices. He kept in touch and sent along additional rebate and tax credit information, and answered every single one (and there were many) of our questions. We chose Mike from among 5 bids; his was second lowest but had the best warranties, plus it had Mike who seemed to care very much about providing excellent service. Mike and his son Kyle worked diligently to get the job done quickly and cleanly and with minimum interruption. Mike worked with us to get the downstairs unit vented correctly, but still the way we preferred, he moved the gas line in the attic to make the units more accessible there, straightened out duct work, all extra work for him at no cost to us. He came back to help me with rebate paperwork, took our old units to the recycler and sent us that paperwork as well. We would use Approved Air again in a heartbeat. Thanks, Mike!

Cool Air Solutions was excellent. Justin was great to work with. I interviewed 4 contractors (all with an A+ BBB rating), but he was the only one that really listened to my needs. He set up a system based on our usage, but provided options if we wanted to take advantage of other features. He was also helped us take advantage of the rebates being offered, including manufacturer rebates. I felt he was very honest and trustworthy. He was quick to respond to my MANY questions. The pricing was very reasonable, and the installation crew was great as well. I wish all contractors were this easy to work with. I am more than happy to recommend Cool Air Solutions to anyone that needs a new HVAC system, and I won't hesitate to call them in the future for service.

Mike (the owner) was great. He was right on schedule in all our appointments. He explained the options very well. His price was very reasonable (the lowest of 3 estimates). This is a family business so he had his son help him. He was able to begin and complete the whole job within a week of signing the estimate. The entire job took two full days. My installation was a little tricky as the furnace was in my attic and the attic access was too small. So he had to cut a larger access into my ceiling to get the new furnace in. He finished out the new attic access with molding and painted it with paint I provided so you wouldn't know it was a new access. Everything he did was neat and clean. And the new furnace is great, especially compared to what I had. Haven't used the air conditioner yet, but we did test it out and it gets cold really fast. I will be using it a lot in the summer. I highly recommend Approved Air.
