 + -1 moreI brought in my malfunctioning vacuum cleaner, a Hoover bagless upright that wasn't working well, in for repair. They took it in the back and came out and told me it had a burnt out motor and that moisture had gotten into the inner parts, and it would be about $400 to replace the motor and fix it. For that price, I naturally started looking aorund the store for a new vac instead, and they had some pretty nice ones. I almost bought a $600 Miele, but decided to sleep on it. The next day my dad took me to the vaccum repair place by his house -- they cleaned the entire machine and replaced the belt for $15 and it worked fine. I felt like Frank's really tried to take advantage of me and sucker me into exorbitant repair fees or a new vacuum altogether, when I really didnt need either. This place gives a bad name to small neighborhood repair places that you might trust because they have been aorund forever.

 + -1 moreFRANK'S VACUUM AND SEWING MACHINE IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO. IT IS NEIGHBORLY, FRIENDLY AND THEY DO THE BEST THAT THEY CAN DO. THEY HAVE SO MUCH TO OFFER IN THE STORE THAT HAS TO DO WITH VACUUMS. THEY REPAIR ALMOST ANY VACUUM AND THEIR PRICES ARE VERY REASONABLE.
Description of Work: THEY REPAIRED MY EUREKA VACUUM. THIS VACUUM HAS BEEN USED FOR ABOUT TEN YEARS. SO FROM TIME TO TIME IT NEEDS TO BE FIXED. THE VACUUM HAD SOMETHING strangely WRONG WITH IT, THAT A MEMBER OF MY FAMILY COULD NOT EVEN FIX. WE WENT TO FRANK'S VACUUM & SEWING MACHINES FOR A SOLUTION.
