Description of Work: My son had lifted the toliet and replaced the parts, but did not have the tools to reseat it, so he called this plumbing service. The repairman did show up on time, but I didn't realize that he was going to charge for the estimate if we did not get the work done by this company. He sounded like he knew what he was doing, but he ended up making 2 trips back to the "warehoue" for parts and tried to sell us the newly-replaced parts, which my son had correctly installed. He was actually here for about an hour helping to reseat the toliet, but we were charged a hefty hourly fee for a 4 hour vist. It was obvious that he wasn't experienced and I felt that we were over-charged in spite of the"senior citizen" discount. I would never reccommend this company to anyone, ever. It truly sucks!

+ 0 moreSteve, the service man, was very flexible with me. I have limited funds, but I wanted to protect my water heater, so I needed to know about the "anode rod." Steve pulled it for me, and I inspected it, and agreed with him that it had to be replaced. We had an agreement that if it looked like it was in good shape, he would not charge for the service. I was delighted to replace it when I understood more about the situation.
Description of Work: Flushed my water heater and changed out the anode rod.

+ -1 moreI use them quite often. Their customer service is excellent and they show up on time. I always get a nice thank you card a day or two after service. They send reminder cards when something needs to be done such, as my water heater needs to be flushed because I have a maintenance plan. They are just great and I've used them for six years.
Description of Work: I used Benjamin Franklin Plumbing to replace the seals under three toilets and check under the house for leaks.

+ 0 moreTechnician was very professional and courteous. We have been using Benjamin Franklin Plumbing for years. They did the plumbing work on a remodeled kitchen and two bathrooms. We recommend them. We have them come out annually to check for possible problems and drain water heater.
Description of Work: Annual check-up on all faucets in home. Draining of water heater.
