Taylor Renovation came to my house on a Friday to clean my air ducts. When arriving I asked the technicians couple of questions about the cleaning process and one question that I remember asking one of the techs was "what about the evaporator coil inside my furnace, are you guys going to clean that too? " Both techs had a blank look on there face when asked that question. Finally one tech responded that there is no coil inside the furnace, only the outside A/C unit has one. I took his word because he knows what he is talking about right???? I am not knowledgeable when it comes to Air ducts or A/C Systems and the only reason I knew to ask about the evaporator coil was because Coit came to my house previously to give me an estimate and Coit's estimator mentioned the evaporator coil. Everything went well with the air ducts cleaning except for the techs not cleaning my furnace coil, the techs put back all my air vents and cleaned up there worksite. Before leaving I mentioned to one of techs that there estimator said to me that you guys were going to also seal my vents also with some type of chemical? The tech mentioned right away "defogging your vents?, that process was not mention to us by the estimator but let me call him to confirm if that was in your original bid because its a $50 dollar cost". The tech gets off the phone with the estimator and said that I was right, that he did promise me to defog my air duct to seal them but he forgot to put it in my estimate paperwork, but he couldn?t do it today because he didn?t have the chemical in the truck but he will call me Monday to schedule a time to come and defog my vents. On Sunday I decided to put in a new furnace air filter and when I opened the furnace my old filter was all wet! I looked around and I didn?t see any water. So I took out the old filter and put in the new one to see if later in the day if it would be wet too. I checked the furnace later at night and the filter was dry. Monday came along and the tech from Taylor's Air Duct Cleaning called to schedule a time and date to seal my vents, we agreed on later on that day like around 5pm but before we hung up the phone I mentioned that my air filter in my furnace was all wet and he said " that it was my condenser line from A/C unit probably clogged and that the air duct cleaning had noting to do with the condenser line clogging up but that he would take a look at it". Well the techs never showed up at the time we had agreed upon. I am pretty sure he knew what they did to my system and wanted to stay clear of my house. A week later my A/C unit starts going out and my freon line from my AC unit to my furnace was all frozen with ice!!! I called an A/C company to come out and see what was going on. A/C company comes out to my house and checks the freon level and the AC unit itself and everything checked out to be ok. Now the AC tech wanted to see my furnace, so I show him where it was he check the filter, the filter was all wet again. The AC tech starts removing the screws to open the top part of the furnace, I ask the tech what he was doing and he responded he was checking the evaporator coil to see if it?s dirty; the one that that air duct cleaning people said it didn?t exist!!!! The AC tech took out the coil and it was full of hair and gunk that created the AC unit from not working properly. The repairs cost me $300 for cleaning the evaporator coil and a new blower fan because the fan was over working to try to get air through all that gunk that got left behind by the air duct cleaning. Bottom line is that the people who work for Taylor Air ducting cleaning don?t know what they were doing or are too lazy in doing the work properly. If you are thinking on hiring this company to clean your air duct system in your house, DON?T!! Stay clear of this company unless you want to have problems with your AC system in the future.

They're excellent. They were neat, they put plastic everywhere so I didn't have any dust. Everything was set up so perfectly that even with the jackhammer, there was nothing. Everything was contained. They were meticulous, and they sent a carpet cleaner in to clean up the carpet afterward in the master bathroom. They even cleaned the whole bedroom, which wasn't even part of the project.
