Sky Blue Restorations

It was an Angie's list Big Deal that we purchased. They had to come back because initially after it dried because it didn't look good. They did come back and they did correct it. They handled the problem so they were okay. There was no problem with them coming out. They were friendly and I gave them a tip. It was streaky when it dried so we called and they came back and corrected it so it was fine. They probably did as good of a job as they could do. The tiles had a shine on them when they were initially purchased. A film residue remained afterwards. They were responsive and pleasant and buffed them out. The price was fine.

I called to make an appointment and was given a 4 hour window. One hour before they called to let me know they were on the way.  Alex and Angel were respectful, helpful, polite, efficient.  Alex returned the next day to finish and was on time (calling before he came).

Except for a late start, Alex called to say he would late after the 4 hour window. When he came, he apologized and got to work. He showed me some things I could do to keep from having problems in the future. He was friendly and conscientious.

Sky Blue Restorations charged me an additional $30 or $40. I can't remember why. They were professional. It was a nice gentleman that came and did the work. They were fine.

It was all done very professionally.  When the oil based seal was
partially removed from the tile due to the intense cleaning, Sky Blue
applied a water based seal to protect the tile.   I was duly warned
ahead of time that the water based seal would be duller than the oil
based one.  Sky Blue could not apply an oil based seal when the floor
was wet.  They would have had to wait at least 24 hours to do.  The type
of seal was less important to me than having a clean floor with a lot
of foot traffic.  You can see the difference in the seal types, but it
is not that apparent and the floor is clean. 

Prompt and courteous, but not as thorough as the first time I contracted
with them.  When I motioned the serviceman back in the house to look at the dirt
still visible on the carpet, he said it was wet and therefore, clean. 
His equipment broke down in the middle of the job and the handle on his
vacuum kept separating. I had to vacuum and spot clean over the job he
completed.  In addition, he was not aware that I paid for the
service online. Although this was a great deal for the price, I will not
use this company again.

My experience with Sky Blue Restorations was okay.  I used them in September or October.  They said they were actually going to take a lot of hours to do a cleaning, that it would be a thorough cleaning, they were there for no more than thirty minutes.  And when I looked in my Chimney by my fireplace I could see right there.  It was not cleaned at all.  The customer service was pretty prompt.  I didn't get the thorough cleaning that I thought I was going to get.

Their service was great!  They were very dependable.  They came when they said they were going to come.  They were honest, and they did not charge us any extra.  They did what they were supposed to do.  There were no problems with their service.  Their pricing was reasonable.

For the most part they were just fine.  The only hitches were that after purchasing the Big Deal they didn't contact us right away.  I sent an email that didn't get a response and finally called them.  At that point they mentioned that they had been having problems with their email that delayed them contacting people and responding.  No problem.  Then several days after I made my appointments they called me again and didn't realize that they had already scheduled a time for me.  Also no problem but a bit disorganized.
On the day of the two cleanings there was some confusion person going to my second property called to confirm.  I pointed out that I was waiting at the first property and couldn't be at the second for several hours.  He checked with his dispatcher and, again, just some confusion as a different person was coming to my first property.  This was also fine but that first person didn't do the same confirmation and winded up being about 30 minutes late.  As I didn't want to leave until he was done I was afraid that this would affect my ability to be at the second property in time but ultimately because that first fireplace was a gas only it wen't plenty fast and I was able to coordinate my meeting with the second guy.
The second guy was also a bit late due to him having the wrong address.  When he had called me earlier to confirm the address I must have missed that he had it wrong in the confusion over who was supposed to be where when.  His GPS took him to the wrong location.  That sorted out he managed to make it.
Both guys were professional, quick, courteous and cleaned up what is inherently a messy service so no complaints there.  They were good at communicating what they were going to do and how long it would take and both confirmed with me before throwing out the left overs, sand in the first fireplace, old logs in the second.  Overall, despite the confusions and a bit of tardiness it all worked out fine.

Everything went ok. I think they forgot the original appointment but eventually rescheduled for later in the day. Only one guy showed up and I felt bad that he had to do all the moving and lugging equipment alone. He was a very nice young man and worked HARD but wore torn clothing and was a bit unkempt. I would probably use them again.

Miguel arrived promptly on both days.  He took his time to do a thorough job on everything he did.  The air duct disinfectant which he used was ordorless (we had requested to George that it be ordorless).  Miguel carfully cleaned all the above mentioned items on his first visit.  Since it was very late in the day when he finished and since he did not expect that he would have to repair some of our ducting, we rescheduled the fixing of our air ducts through George which gave Miguel the opportunity to obtain the parts needed to fix several of our air ducts.  Miguel did not pressure us in any way to clean our chimney or dryer ducts.  Nor did he try to sell us  new air ducts.  On the contrary, he did an excellent thorough job on everything.
    We would use this company again.

Nice, polite workers arrived on time. In fact, the owner even called to tell me they were on their way. The resealing of the granite on my kitchen counter took 5 minute and something I could have easily done myself. The product they used was in a generic spray bottle so I have no idea of the quality.. They did not reseal the travertine backsplash. They did an excellent job on the caulking of the tub/shower, but I had to provide the caulking material. I had to go out to get them before they left to finish the downstairs area. If I were to do this again, I'd just reseal my own stonework but use them for any repair type work.

Their service was good. They were really on time and they followed up really well also. They are fast and reasonable.
