I am totally satisfied with the service. He was very honest, punctual and VERY reasonable. The cost of the diagnosis was included in the repair. I told him I could only afford a certain price and he honored it! I would certainly recommend him to any one. I called him in the P.M. and he came the next A.M. ON TIME! Call him for repairs!

From the initial phone call to the delivery of the repaired tv I am completely satisfied with the service. Where can you get anything nowaday's completely repaired including pickup and delivery for $85! Philip was very honest about the possibility of repair ( stated that if the problem was the sensor it could be fixed for $85 but if it was the motherboard it was not worth fixing) . Throughout the process he was very polite and genuinely very nice. I would not hesitate to use him in the future for any electrical appliance repair. One note, I had to laugh at the one negative repair written. I guess it's more important that a business name is given when answering the phone even if you have to pay 3X as much for the "professionalism". Go figure....

Very responsive and professional. He picked up my TV and dropped it off. The problem was fixed. Only issue i had was there were a number of scratches and scuffs from the transport. Other than that the service was perfect. Phil came to my house within an hour after I called him.

This is the kind of service one can only hope for. Angies list has done it again. This is an amazinge vendor. Only downside is I don't get to by that new 70" smart TV (yet).

I can't say enough about Phillip of AM Electronics. He was honest and professional. I had called AM Electronics about 4:45 pm. I explained what was going on and he said could he call me back later. Since it was so late in the day I thought that I would not hear back from him until the next day. I was pleasantly surprised when he returned my call at 5:30 pm that evening. He said he would be there in about 15 minutes. He was punctual and pleasant. He had repaired the t.v. in about 45 minutes. I would not hesitate to call him again for service, in fact, he would be the first person I would call. I highly recommend AM Electronics for t.v.repair. You will not be disappointed.

Philip was responsive, pleasant, fast, and the repair cost less than I thought it was going to from my research on the web.

Philip answered my call and gave me a time to come over to look at the tv. He showed up promptly at 5:30 which had been the agreed on time. Was very well dressed and polite.
Got right down to business and very quickly located the problem with the TV set and the connections.
He realigned it correctly and then walked me through what he had done.
Before he left, he made sure that I knew how to work all the remotes and understood the cable connections.
It was a very pleasant experience.... the charge was far less than I had anticipated and I would not hesitate to recommend him to my friends.
This was my first experience using Angie's list and it was very positive.

80and quot; Mitsubishi HD rear projection TV would not turn on and was having video problem such as one color out on part of the screen and some image distortion prior to the catastrophic failure. Phil, for A-M Electronics came right out, diagnosed the problem, then removed the electronic chassis to repair and calibrate in his lab. With Phil's technician contacts at the Mitsubishi service center and knowledge of the equipment, he was not only able to get the TV to turn back on again, he was able to replace some difficult to find components and calibrate the TV to operate like new again.
We had used another repair service before and all they could do was get the TV to turn on again, but not fix the video issue. Phil's work is short of amazing. He is very knowledgeable, responsive, reasonably priced, and efficient.
I am a degreed Electrical Engineer myself, so I know how difficult it is to find an Electrical Technician that really knows what they are doing as Phil does. Finding Phil was a goldmine for us. I highly recommend A-M Electronics.

The man who answered the phone at the business was at my home in a hour and when the problem resolved itself, he made sure everything was working properly before he left. No service charge was requested but we gave him $20 for gas and he was pleased. He was professional and polite. Because of his kindness and prompt service, I will use him again when I need a full service!!!!

I was not happy initially with receiving an estimate and then a bill that were higher than the original quotes, and I was not happy that he did not deduct the estimate from the total bill as most companies do. When I asked him about it, he offered to accept what he had quoted. I went ahead and paid the full amount for the bill anyway as I was very pleased with his work. But, on a positive note though, Phil was very knowledgeable, performed everything as he said he would and for the most part, was punctual and kept to the timeline that he gave us. I was most impressed that he took my original phone call on a Saturday early evening and that he delivered the TV on a Sunday evening. Now that is service!! Two power supplies and a digital video processing board were replaced. The TV is completely repaired and fully functional again. This TV is more valuable to us than any of the new ones on the market because they don’t have the same capability, performance, reliability, for the size (80”) as the one that we have. We originally purchased it on sale for about $4,000.

As a degreed (Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering) Electrical Engineer from CSU Long Beach, I can accurately state that Phil is very competent at TV troubleshooting and repair, does so at a reasonable cost, and demonstrated exceptional customer service. I will highly recommend him to others, and I will contract him again in the future without hesitation.

He came over and picked up the TV, brought it back to his place to evaluate the problem. He called me as he said he would a couple days later with a quote for getting the part and the labor. His fee was very reasonable considering he picked up the tv and delivered it back to my house. I would recomend him to anyone.

We have a 2006 Samsung 61in DLP TV. It uses LEDs for the light source and the red LED failed. I called A-M and he came out the same afternoon to check on the TV. He called Samsung the next day and ordered the parts after contacting me with the repair price. He charged $20 for the initial visit. It took the parts about 7 days to arrive and he brought them out the same day and tried to install them at the house. The installation required more room than was available so he took the TV back to the shop. He installed the entire LED set as recommended by Samsung and brougt the TV back the next day, a Saturday, and set it up. He provides a one year warranty on his work. I am extremely satisfied with A-M's service and will call them again if I need TV repairs. He met all his time committments and performed the work for the price specified.

Very nice - very knowledgeable. Came to the house the same day we spoke on the phone. Looked at the TV and determined what the problem was. gave us a verbal estimate of what the part and labor would be. Called to verify this once he got back to the shop. called again the next day when it was determined that the part wasn't immediately available and gave us an estimate of how long the wait would be. Repair completed on time, on budget and with very satisfactory results. TV working fine!

Our 3 year old big screen went blank. Found A-M on Angie's list and called Philip at apprx 2 pm. He came to our house by 4 pm and diagnosed the problem, ordered the part, and returned on Tuesday 1/4/2011 as promised. Part replaced, TV working beautifully, couldn't be happier. He charged $25 for the service call and $275 for the lamp and the labor/knowledge. I offered to pay the $275 up front, he declined, said I could pay when he came back to install it. I believe he is an honest, ethical businessman. For example, based on conversations we had regarding typical TV problems, in some cases, depending on the type of TV and the cost of repair, he would recommend buying a new TV rather than try to repair. And he's a very nice man. I'm very pleased.

I was impressed with this company because I called him and told him what the problem with my television was and he brought the part with him and installed it.
