"I am sorry that you had a negative experience with our company. I never received a phone call from you regarding ANY of the issues, of your complaint. We are always very careful in your home with walls and floors and not leaving a mess behind. We do not open or close air vents We simply remove the air vent register, to clean inside the air duct and then replace the air vent, as it was. Sometimes a dryer may not be moved, if it is a 'stackable' washer/dryer combination. These are very difficult to move as they are usually always squeezed into a very inaccessible compact area. The dryer duct is cleaned by accessing through the outside exhaust termination point. If a dryer duct is NOT cleaned properly, it would be evident within a day or two, not three months. If the dryer actually got 'plugged' up after 3 months, as you say in your complaint, then there is probably another issue, not concerning the duct itself. It could be the blower fan that is inside the dryer is faulty or failing, or a problem with the design of the duct run or the exhaust termination point. I would have gladly sent a technician back out to try and correct these issues, if you had called me, concerning these complaints."

"Sir since this job was done nearly two years ago and I can not recall any specific details, I apologize about the 'mess' they caused on the floor. When we remove air vent registers, sometimes paint and other debris falls to the floor. This should have and is always supposed to be vacuumed up before the technician leaves to the next register. As far as cutting, with a knife, around the air vent registers, sometimes this is necessary to remove the register from the wall/ceiling. When air vent registers are glued or caulked onto the ceiling/walls, we have to 'score' around the perimeter of the vent register, with a sharp knife in order to remove them. This is a painstaking and time consuming process. We are always careful not to damage the area surrounding the vent register and take our time with it. Sometimes a little bit of paint will come off with the vent register, NO MATTER how careful you are. So I apologize if that was the case. We don't just rip them off the wall. We are conscious of this problem and conscience to be patient in removing stubborn air vents from the walls/ceilings."
