In the meeting, after gathering all the facts, I will make recommendations based on my years of experience and training in the financial field. Reverse Mortgages are highly regulated by FHA and HUD to safeguard against getting involved with a loan product that is not understood. For example the first step, even before filling out an application, is to get independent counseling. The HUD approved counselor will have questions that you must know the answers to in order to start the application. I help my clients with every step of the process so they are not overwhelmed by the complexity. I am always available for questions all the way through the loan process and even after the loan is funded.
