After providing the initial data, I pointed out that he did not interpret the stock purchase correctly. He requested additional data, which I sent over very quickly along with the exact scenarios I wanted analyzed. He asked a few questions, but then all communication stopped and he never corrected the projection with the additional data I sent over at his request. I called and emailed, and never recieved a reply. He waited 4 months and then sent me a bill for $150. When I refused to pay, he threatened to send it to his collection agency.
I am really confused by the whole experience. I do not recommend doing business with this person, and I think he simply did not have the tax knowledge to understand stock and option tax situations.
