Aaron contacted me immediately and set a time to check the problem. Ordered parts and replaced what was broken ASAP. Very nice guy and job well done.

I have an older Tappan cooktop that we don't want to replace because we like retro style. Power went off to the whole unit. The technician came out and checked the cooktop but didn't open the underneath cage that surrounds the part leading to the elements. He said the circuit breaker was "soft'' and the problem was there. I called an electrician, and that was not the problem at all. The problem was under the cooktop. A small ring had got loose from the aluminum wiring underneath; he clamped it tighter and voila, stove fixed. Maybe on new cook-tops their service is fine, but on this one a few decades old, he didn't know what to do. I called him, he "didn't understand" what I repeated from the electrician, so I had him talk to the electrician right there in the kitchen. He proceeded to say he couldn't do what an electrician could. Yes, he could have unscrewed the metal box underneath the stove and tested it like he did everything else. Awful phone connection made it worse. If you have anything older, find someone else or call an electrician! $85 gone, no offer to refund it or even part of it.

Aaron called me and responded to my home within one hour after I checked HomeAdvisor for a Appliance Repair company. My refrigerator was leaking and causing water damage to the wall, baseboard, and carpeting behind the wall. Aaron quickly diagnosed the problem was a cracked line and he repaired the line on the spot. The price he charged me was hundreds under what I expected I would have to pay. Being a single female I have had other contractors for home repairs try to take advantage and over charge me but Aaron did not which he could have because I was in a desperate situation. I highly recommend Aaron at Prolite Appliance Service and Repair.

CAVEAT EMPTOR Easy job done in a short time for a high price. The price for the small part installed was exorbitant. The price for the part was doubled for the labor charge. A straight trip charge of $70-$75, plus reasonable prices for the one part and the labor to install it would have reduced the invoice total. If we require another appliance repair in the future, I would use another service.
