Paul and his team redid the roof on our new house and did an amazing job. Great craftsmanship and communication. No price surprises. Highly recommend.

Generally Paul does not do construction work as his company specializes in roofing - flat roofs are their specialty. They put a new roof on our house several years ago - (an excellent job at a reasonable price) but in the middle of having our house painted we discovered extensive damage of the fascia boards. We called Paul and he immediately sent his team to help us. They replaced several feet of fascia board and repaired the affected roof all done within two days so the painters could finish their job.

Paul and Tony replaced our bitumen roof, more than 4000 square feet, in one week.  Some of the plywood and facia boards were rotten so he replaced them and did an excellent job on the rest of the roof.  Paul replaced the roof on our guest house in 2008 and there have been no leaks.  He charges a fair price and always does a superb job.

Randy Work is great. I would use him always.. I am in real estate and always need to refer people for home repairs. Randy was on time and gave me a great price for the work they needed to complete. If you need a small or big roofing job done they are the best.

Paul and his crew were great. From the first contact to the last in his job he was very professional, informative and honest with me. He let us know that we could probably live with our roof for another 5+ years, but the fact we had a leak my wife and I decided to just get it all taken care of and be done with it. Paul and his guys showed up every day and delivered an exceptional looking roof. They cleaned up after themselves every day and actually went above and beyond what he said he would do for the job. The fact we have some funky skylights made the job all the more challenging for them (i can tell), but they re-did the install to do it right. They even sealed some cracks on our chimney and took care of an extremely large hornet nest that built itself into the soffit area.
Our house looks great with the new roof (although looks so good now we think we need to paint the house) - he kind of did too good of a job.
I definitely recommend him and know that if I have any problems in the future, I can call him and he will take care of it without a question.

Paul responded promptly when scheduled to come by to give a bid. His bid proposel was specific as to what we discussed.
We kept in contact as to when the job would be done. Work was completed as expected with no surprises and with friendly work staff, which included Paul.

After a recent heavy rainfall, I had leaks in a roof that had drips through a light fixture and above a back door in a utility room. Most of the ceiling was stained from the leaks. After the leaks were discovered, we put tarps on the roof until I could get a roofer. Paul at Yankee Construction was the third roofer I called. Although the others wouldn't come out because they didn't come to this area or were too busy, Yankee Construction came right out and gave me a free estimate, even though they were further away. They were working 7 days a week. Paul said they didn't do any jobs less than $500 and even encouraged me to get more estimates. However, I liked the way he presented himself. And even though I called him to fix the leaks, he pointed out some other things that should have attention (ventilation pipe sealing, metal flashing to be nailed) and replaced some shingles that had blown off.) He later came out and did the job along with a workman. Paul was professional, friendly and I felt confident he knew his business. He said he gets a lot of business from apartment and commercial buildings and is the first one on the list at the supply yard for recommendations. He showed me how he used a superior, heavy-duty shingle especially good for a flat roof. I was very pleased with him and the quality of his work with Yankee Construction.

All went well! Paul communicated well, took the time to explain the work to be done including talking about different options and competitor's prices,called to make sure I had received the estimate(willing to hand deliver if it had not arrived in the mail) and came over to meet me(as I lived in another county) and answer any more questions I had before the job was started. Paul and his team did an excellent job on the roof!!! I would highly recommend this company!! He was a reliable, responsible and extremely able contractor and I had no need to be concerned about anything. I knew he would complete the job and contact me when it was done.

I used Angie's List to get 3 estimates. My job was a small one and only Yankee suggested installing over existing roof vs first removing it. This saved me an amazing $1400. Yankee was timely, worked with my solar installer, put the roof on and left the yard (and pool) free of any evidence they were here. I would use again without question-- and no I'm not a relative! Just found them on Angie's List.

This was by far our best experience with a construction firm. Paul was personable, knowledgeable, punctual and honest. He gave us an estimate and stuck to it even though the job turned out to be more complicated than he thought. He and his partner did all the work. Their work was very professional and they cleaned up afterwards. We have had a rain storm since they replaced the roof and we had no leaks.

We had a leak in the house coming from the roof (and a leak from the drain on the landing to the stairs up to the roof). Our situation was somewhat unique in that our house is over 3 stories tall, so can only be accessed through the house, the roof is partitioned in two parts - separated by an atrium, and the front part has a Trex deck on it which is heavy and complicated to dismantle. 5 companies came to the house and Yankee Construction surpassed them all in every way. Paul, the owner, is exceptionally easy to work with. He is very genuine and helped us to problem solve around the best way to complete the job. His price beat all the other bids we received and he saved us money by recommending we only complete the back part of the roof where the leak was. The only downside was that he is busy so we had to wait a couple of months (heavy rains got in the way too) to get the work done - but it was worth it! They completed the job quickly and without any hassle. And no more leaking!

Paul was great to work with. Returned our call promptly and came out right away for an estimate. The work was done very professionally, quickly, cleanly, and courteously. We've been through several MAJOR multi-day rainstorms since and the roof is doing great with no leaks.

They brought in the materials themselves and saved me the pain of having to worry about that. I have not had any problems with the new roof so we could say that I am very well satisfied with the work they did.

This experience was positive from the initial contact until completion. Paul Coufos, the company owner returned my call (though I later discovered he was across the country at the time) and arranged for an inspection and estimate. Tony, his foreman arrived on schedule. Though I had been called away and forgot to notify him, Tony brought his own ladder and inspected the roof. The estimate was in line with others I had received so I gave them the go ahead. As I had read in previous reports the crew was always on time, neat and professional. I kept watch for the three days they worked and marveled at their work ethic and professional expertise. They uncovered a series of short cuts the original roofer had taken 15 years earlier, pointed them out then repaired them. As an after thought I asked them to remove an old TV antenna and they did. They did not charge for the additional work. They were professional crafts people who took pride in what they were doing.

Smart guy who takes pride in his work. Did everything he said he would for the price agreed on. No unexpected or added charges. Fast work and everything cleaned up as the work was done. Highly recommend.

Very pleased. Contractor was very prompt, arrived at the time agreed on, and completed the entire job within the estimated time, doing even a little more work at no extra charge. When completed, the area was cleaned of all debris. The overall job exceed my expectation and was tested by a very heavy rain a few days after completion.
