They were very professional, they showed up on time, they do what they needed to do, and I am very happy with them. I will give them A's across the board.

It went poorly. The "service" was performed incompetently. I would not recommend the company for any further service work.

They are bit pricey but are very very good. I have top-of-the-line equipment and they know how to take care of those things. They really know what they are doing. They came and quoted me a $1000 for repairing my oven. Then I called their office and told the lady that if I had to add little more money to the repair charges, I could buy a new oven. She told me that she would call me back once she checks on that and I gave her my oven's model number for her to call the company. Later she got back to me to inform that she has managed to get me the required electronic part for free and I just had to pay $60 for their installation charge. That was kind of them to do so and I really appreciate it.

I called Wilshire to make an appointment. My only disappointment was having to wait over a week for the next available appointment. On the morning of my 9am-1pm window, I was called shortly before 9am and told that my technician was called out for an emergency and that a different person would be available between noon and 4pm. I agreed to this and waited... Shortly before noon, Mike showed up and immediately knew what to do. He took the time to show me what was needed, performed the cleaning of my condenser, and finished up within about 30 minutes. So my only complaint would be the long lead time. But the work was excellent and the price was reasonable. Overall good experience!

My Sub-Zero refrigerator stopped cooling properly. I read several negative reviews of this company and was extremely hesitant to contact them. But i learned that they were the only act in town factory authorized by Sub-Zero, and this is important for obtaining OEM warranty parts and possible additional Sub-Zero support. They sent Jason out on the same day I called. Yay!! He was fabulous; technically amazing, efficient, happy, friendly, answered all of my questions and explained what he was doing. More importantly, he instantaneously and correctly diagnosed the problem, had the parts in his truck, fixed the problem (replaced evaporator), and cleaned the lines, replaced the filter, regassed the evaporator, etc. I was very impressed with his mix of skills and expertise. He was extremely honorable with respect to the estimate I was given. Granted the repair is very costly (for my situation, it included labor plus some of the unwarranteed items like gas...the evaporator was luckily still covered by the warrantee), but I think that this a given with any repair, and in particular, one to an expensive brand like Sub-Zero. So after reading many reviews I was resigned to the price and was just worried about getting the job well done and fairly. My refrigerator is back up and running after less than 2 hours. Jason was fantastic and I would not hesitate a heartbeat to have him come out again.

They found a leak that another company was not able to find and repair it, probably because they had the appropriate tools that the other company did not. They are the only local company authorized to work on sub-zero appliances by Sub-Zero.

The technician who came out, Jerry, was outstanding and even honored a 10% senior discount on parts!

Called to schedule appointment, only limited days available. Technician arrived within appointed time window. Technician did a competent job completing the repair. I was told by the office staff when scheduling the appointment what the cost would be($680.80). I was told this was the cost of the labor not the parts which were covered by Subzero warranty. This estimate was $200-300 more than another estimate I had obtained. When the technician presented the bill it was $680.80 but broken down into PARTS and LABOR. I had no choice but to pay the ENTIRE BILL, including BOTH PARTS and labor for a warranty repair. I was horrified by the blatantly dishonest scheme by the ONLY Subzero Factory Authorized Repair Company in Southern California. I will NOT use this company again. I informed Subzero of this company's action. I am EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED in both Wilshire Refrigeration and Subzero!

Our SUB ZERO wasn't cooling properly and the freezer also did not seem to be working as well as it should. I had a really hard time finding a repair service that actually stocks SUB ZERO parts, so I was happy to find out about this company. We called yesterday afternoon and they came this morning. Ask for Gerry--he has been working on SUB ZERO's for over 20 years. He was extremely knowledgeable, was able to quickly diagnose the issue. He had the replacement parts in his truck so he was in and out in less than an hour, fridge fixed. At first I felt the pricing was steep, as the parts are marked up quite a bit and the labor is also very pricey ($175 for less than an hour of work). But honestly, it's a drop in the bucket compared to replacing ($6K or more). And peace of mind that their parts are guaranteed should any issues arise. I will definitely call them the next time we have an issue (but hopefully we won't!).

The amount seemed a little high. He originally told me the cost for the call would be $375 for the 1 1/2 hours for work. The job only took an half hour and I questioned the cost, since it didn't take as long as he estimated. He then broke down the charges. I wish he would have broken down the charges from the beginning.

The guy arrived, then hemmed and hawed and said the only thing to do was buy a new door (more than the cost of a new fridge). Then asked for the water feed for ice maker to be connected, and he refused to move the refrigerator (to slide it out from the wall), saying that he wasn't allowed. So I did it in about 12 seconds. He spent far too much time there and charged was too much. They have a total monopoly on Sub-Zero, so feel they can charge Sub-Zero prices for rudimentary work, which would be the same no matter what fridge they worked on. Really insulting.

My initial call was promising; I got a reasonable estimate over the phone and knowledgeable answers from the service manager (BTW: most repair cost would not even give an estimate or range over the phone even on a specific repair). Rich the repairman arrived and informed me that the warranty on the 511 refrigerator was still in effect for another number of months (out of an initial 12 year warranty) and that the $800 or so estimate was then reduced to $484. Non-factory authorized repair places (such as Allen Edwards, also on Angie's List) told me it would be $1000 to repair. So, not only did they do a good job, but by calling the factory authorized repair shop, I paid less because they used the warranty that non-factory authorized repair persons never told me about.

The service rep, Mike Campochiaro, was very impressive and professional. He called two hours ahead to say he was delayed, but would still come sometime after 6.00 (on a Friday!). He was very well spoken, completely knowledgeable and professionally pleasant. His work on just on the R-12 recharge had the professional touch and care one might see from medical personnel. Excellent, trustworthy advice on options, approach to the manufacturer. Superb service and work.

THIS REPAIR WAS A BIG RIP OFF! THE GUY DIDN'T EVEN TOUCH THE UNIT. EVERYTHING HE TOLD US COULD HAVE BEEN SAID OVER THE PHONE. HE DIDN'T EVEN DISCONNECT THE EXHAUST FAN, WHICH WAS TURNING ON AND OFF AT RANDOM. HE TOLD MY HUSBAND HOW TO DO IT. WE PAID $85 FOR NOTHING! THUMBS DOWN ON DACOR APPLIANCES, TOO.

THE ONLY THING THAT UPSET ME WAS THE PRICE, BECAUSE IT WAS JUST A VERY SMALL PIECE THAT WAS NEEDED AND IT SHOULD NOT HAVE COST ME SO MUCH MONEY FOR THEM TO FIX MY DISHWASHER.
