Gerry is professional, reliable and went out of his way to get my small project done on short notice. He did a great job and his prices are fair. No surprises. And he is a very, very nice guy. I will definitely hire him again and refer him to anyone that needs tile or stone work.

Gerry and his team are truly top notch in every way. He was extremely responsive, came quickly and gave an estimate of the job which was to remove about 1000 sf of terra cotta tile and install porcelain wood look tile. His bid was competitive and he had great reviews so I went with him, and I am very happy I did. The job overall took ~3 weeks and demo was very challenging hard work. Mario and his crew were careful, respectful and always very pleasant. They installed long 8x48 tiles in a random pattern and it came out perfectly, you could never tell it wasn't wood and the alignment left no lipping or problems. They also did a custom pattern tile one bathroom and an inlay in the shower. Again everything was of the highest quality. I can't recommend Tile Craft enough.

Tile Craft did an outstanding job! Gerry has done work for me in the past and he was the only company I wanted to do this work. His price was fair, the workmanship fantastic, and the job completed exactly on time. I highly recommend Tile Craft!

It's refreshing to find a contractor who actually follows through and completes a job as promised... and on budget! I never heard an excuse or a delay from Gerry or any of his crew members. In fact, each of his guys (floor tile, countertop, backsplash, plumbing, etc) all were a delight to work with. And I had ideas for design and finish work that were quite specific, but had no problem communicating these to Gerry or his guys. They simply got the job done and it all came out beautifully.

Gerry and his crew did an outstanding job from start to finish.  I had a ceramic tile floor installed in my kitchen several years ago.  The tiles kept coming loose and breaking and I had tried repairing it on several occasions, but the problem kept returning.
I called Gerry for an estimate.  He promptly responded to my request.  He analyzed the problem and discussed the options with me.  I determined that the best solution was to replace the entire floor.  He provided an estimate -- on the spot -- that was fair and reasonable.  We then scheduled a date for the work.  Gerry and his crew showed up on-time, worked efficiently and took care to keep the work and dust contained to the kitchen area.  They finished the job in less time than anticipated and we are beyond pleased with the quality of the work done.  Our kitchen looks amazing with the new floor.
I would hire Gerry again (and I plan to) and I wholeheartedly recommend him without hesitation.

Gerry and two of his tile men did their third job at our seemingly endless bungalow restoration.  We provided two insert areas framed by newly laid wood floor in which 1" hex tile was to be installed - a 3' x 6' pad at the door to the backyard, and a 3' x 4' pad under the kitchen sink bowls and out to where one would stand in front of the sink.  Although small in area, the detail required was probably higher than normal for a tile job including cutting 1" hex to perfectly butt to the wood floor with grout space consistent to within the field, building up to level with the wood floor, dealing with one area being slightly out of square requiring the non-square cuts meet a not-overly-visible corner area.
The work was done in 3 days of work time with Gerry stopping in and out to manage and direct the tile layers, and two tile men working from around 8 am to around 2 pm each day, stopping whenever they got to a point where mastic or grout or sealant had to set overnight.
Their work was exemplary.  Grout joints are consistent and attractive (not an easy feat with 1" hex), they were courteous, relatively quiet, and cleaned up as expected after each work period.  The finished work looks great, and garners plenty of "ooh" responses from friends and family who see it.

Gerry and his crew were wonderful! They had the tough job of replacing the floor tile in the kitchen and laundry room with the cabinets in place. He sent four guys to ensure the job was done meticulously. They took such care to cover the adjacent hardwood floors, to put a protective cardboard edge around the base of the cabinets and the legs on my island, and then the put a plastic enclosure around my open concept kitchen before they started demolition. They hand chiseled out the old tile around the curves, they did an impeccable job of installing the new tile even with the curved shape at the edge of the kitchen and most importantly the floor was level with the existing hardwood in the dining area. They arrived early and cleaned up their debris every day. This is the way all trades people should work in your home. They treated our home like it was their own. I cannot sang their praises enough. A+

We needed to have foundation work done on the front of our house which meant that the titled front patio needed to be destroyed and then rebuilt and tiled once the foundation work was completed. I found 3 tilers on Angie's List that were local to my neighborhood. Gerry Keogh was one of three tilers I spoke to in February 2014 before the foundation work started. I selected Gerry because of the following:
    • 1. He understood the scope of the work and gave me an email proposal in February.
    • 2. We stayed in email communication periodically while the foundation work was being completed.
    • 3. He was patient and willing to work with our schedule to complete the project in October 2014.
    • 4. He was willing to tile using the same design we had before.
    • 5. He was familiar with Discount Tile on Venice Blvd. We purchased the tile and Gerry picked it up from Discount Tile.
    • 6. And he is very pleasant and easy going.

The quality of the tiling is excellent. Fernando, Gerry's lead tiler, did an excellent job of laying out the title as it was originally designed. Fernando and his crew did a much better job of tiling than the previous tilers when the patio was first built. The crew arrived promptly at 7:30 every morning. They made sure that the job site was cleaned up before they left in the evening. After the sealant was applied and dried, the crew cleaned up everything, wiped the wrought iron fence clean of grout debris, and applied touch up paint to the plaster.
Overall, we were pleased with the quality and professionalism of Gerry and his employees. We are happy to have found someone local in our neighborhood and will definitely use Gerry again when we need a tiler.

After fighting the dirty grout in my white bathroom for several years, I decided it was time to call in a professional. Gerry is a lovely, personable man with a charming Irish brogue. It took a while for us to get the job scheduled because he is extremely busy. He understood exactly what needed to be done, explained the process thoroughly and answered all our questions. He was flexible enough to accomodate my schedule and to work with my husband (a former architect/contractor), who wanted to do some of job himself. His assistant is also highly competent. The job was completed in 1 1/2 days, and now I have white grout again!

We are under a time crunch so Gerry came out the same day and got us a quote the next morning. He asked many questions to get an accurate scope of work and offered suggestions where applicable.
One can tell that he is concerned with making sure his customers are left with a qualtity job that they will enjoy.
We did not use him for this job but will keep Tile Craft in our favorites list for next time.

We had a very unfortunate experience with a different tile contractor that left us with an improperly grouted and unsealed new installation, with grout flaking and falling out in powdery chunks and visible gaps between tiles. Corners, gaps, interactions with windows, walls, and other surfaces were left unfilled and uncaulked, and what grout did stay in the joints was bleeding colored pigment with any presence of water at all. We called a few other contractors, and Gerry Keogh from Tile Craft had the best ideas for how to examine and fix our new but unuseable tile installation. It took him one full day of careful touch up, caulking, even touching up a few chipped corners with ceramic touch up. After letting things dry for a few days (and taking care of other jobs on his docket) we got a return visit for a solvent based sealer and cleanup. I'm very confident that we now have a useable shower that won't shed all it's grout and allow water into our brand new walls. Some contractors I called from this list refused to even come out and look to see if they could help me, and others simply wanted to rip our entire install out and start over for thousands and thousands of dollars. Gerry of Tile Craft was pleasant, encouraging, and really cleaned up the install left in poor shape by the other tile guy.

first rate craftsmen such as Roberto and Antonio and Mario transformed and restored my small l940s era bathroom Gerry came to supervise. I asked for a recommendation before signing contract and the reference said they "wanted to adopt" Gerry and had him back again. Quality work. I supplied the tile and grout color I wanted to match the era as closely as possible but Gerry could also have brought tile in.

These guys did a terrific job. Gerry gave us an accurate quote quickly and understood the parameters of our job. His staff did a wonderful job on the installation. They were very good with the details. Tile is centered in our shower niche. You could hardly run a business card between the threshold of our tile floor and the wood in the adjoining room. All of the plumbing holes are finished and within the size allowed by our trims. Our house is modern, and they understood that the simple details sometimes take the most attention. The seam between the wall and the floor looks great. We had two workers at the house for six days for this job. The price seems well worth it. We had a slight snag with the amount of tile ordered. Gerry picked up more the same day he noticed the problem. Finished on schedule. They also left the place spotless.
