Called Riviera Reupholstering order line on 6/30/2014 in the afternoon and the sales rep, Michael, arrived on our doorstep that evening with the selections of materials we had telephonically discussed. As we were departing the country for a couple of months and we needed the item picked up within the week [ which it was, within a six hour window of their choice] and then we required that the newly reupholstered couch be returned to us upon our return two months later [again, with a six hour window of their choice]. They made the deadline, delivering a superbly crafted, reborn couch that should, with some supervision of the great grand kids, last us another twenty or so years. Also kudos to the pick-up and delivery crew Adolpho and Marco who were more than careful of the item involved and conscientiously aware of the surroundings in which they were working. But Michael was the proverbial icing on the cake, patiently guiding us through the myrad of choices we needed to make and then walking us through each stage of the development. Thank you Riviera, Michael, Adolpho, and Marco.

Everyone I spoke with at Riviera was very professional. A fellow came to our home to look at the furniture and pick out fabrics. The price was settle upon over the phone before he arrived, and it was reasonable. The furniture was picked up by very courteous delivery persons and was completed and delivered right within the time estimate given. We are very satisfied with our experience and are very happy with our recovered furniture.

I called and left a message and Michael called back soon. He let us know that they had an anniversary sale that would end by the weekend. We arranged a time where my sister who had to work could join in the process. He accommodated us and we chose the fabric, pattern and he explained the costs of fabric treatment, transportation, tax. He even had the same fabric manufacturer who made the original sofa upholstery. He was up front about us trying to find a similar design to the old one and showed us its replacement. We were disappointed but were attracted to a different one than we anticipated. He told us how saggy our sofa was and how much higher we'd sit once it was re-done. He marked each piece with our name and invoice number to make sure there would be no mistakes and took photos. He gave us an estimated time period in which the sofa would be picked up. The only thing was it was paid for up front. No deposit, no balance due.
He called and let me know the exact day and hours window. The guys came within that time and were very efficient.
He called again and to our surprise, the sofa was ready in only 2 weeks instead of 3 - 6. Same time frame and the guys brought it back, removed the plastic, put it exactly where it belonged, arranged the cushions and voila!
I had expected to pay close to $5000 for the job and it was less than $4000 with transportation, fabric treatment, any repairs needed and tax. This was for a 5 sectional sofa that had 13 cushions overall.

They have been around for years. I used them years and years ago for upholstery refinishing and they had faded off the earth and then I saw a TV commercial on them. I was very satisfied with the overall product. I think it was between $200 and $400 that I spent on that service because I did not want to spend more than I paid for the chair. The representative that I talked to actually came to my house. They would have provided pick up, but I delivered it to their location. They quoted me about 2 to 3 weeks to redo the chair, but I think I had it back in 1.5 weeks, so they provided very fast service. The representative was very knowledgeable and he has been with the company for about 27 years or longer. He was very knowledgeable in the material, quality and the type of work that they performed.

THEY DID NOT MATCH THE STRIPS. THEY DID NOT SEND BACK THE PILLOWS, AND ARM RESTS. THE PRICE WAS $700 FOR DELIVERY. THE OTTOMAN WAS LEANING.

I THINK THE PRICE WAS VERY FAIR. BUT YOU CAN ALWAYS FIND SOMEONE CHEAPER. BUT I WAS SATISFIED. THE SERVICE WAS AN F. THE QUALITY WAS AN A. THE SALESPEOPLE WERE PROFESSIONAL AND THOSE WHO DELIVERED IT WERE VERY GOOD, BUT THERE WAS NO CUSTOMER SERVICE.

WHILE I WAS OUT OF SIGHT HE MARKED THE SEAT CUSHIONS WITH A PERMANENT, INDELIBLE, BLACK MARKER WITH MY NAME AND ORDER #12758. THESE STAINS HAVE NOT COME OUT IN PROFESSIONAL CLEANING. WHEN I SAW THIS, I ASKED WHY, AND HE SAID IT IS TO IDENTIFY THE ORDER. BUT HE DID NOT STATE AHEAD OF TIME THAT THIS WAS GOING TO BE DONE. THEIR IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM WAS NOT APPROPRIATE AT ALL! I GAVE THEM A CHECK FOR $2500.00 BUT CANCELLED THE CHECK THE NEXT DAY AND THEY TRIED TO CASH IT 6 MONTHS LATER AS WELL.
