Rely on Rudy Gardening Service

I can't tell you how many gardeners we have had.. We have a large property and it does take a lot of work but no matter how much money we paid, the service was bad. we would have to pay to have the new gardeners to clean up before they started to garden, really a bad scene.
Well, in comes Rudy and his crew. He had to clean up after the other gardener but pointed out what was wrong as we walked around. He comes with a smile and his crew is friendly also. He had done so much more , without us even asking, than the other gardeners, it is amazing.
We have gotten comments from our friends about how good our place looks. When I pull up in the car, I often just look at the grounds for a while, it is so pleasing to the eyes. All thanks to Rudy.and his crew.
Yes I would truly recommend him, he is a gem.

Rudy is a very nice man to work with, however the quality of work provided by his maintenance crew definitely leaves something to be desired. When Rudy was present, which was about once a month, the crew worked diligently and we were very happy with the results. However, when the crew came without Rudy, smaller plants were often stepped on, and branches were broken from shrubs.
I was very specific during the initial walk through with Rudy. As I do have allergy and respiratory problems, I insisted that no blowers could be used, which we both agreed upon. I realize that this restriction places a time burden upon the crew, so was clear that I did not mind paying a premium for the maintenance service.
I also was very clear that I wanted to maintain a certain natural look to the landscaping, so only wanted hand pruning, no unnatural shaping of trees or shrubs with power tools.
Everything did proceed according to our agreement for the first few weeks, but Rudy stopped showing up after a while, and his crew became more lax to the point where I began to see a lot of damaged plants.
I called Rudy three times, left voice messages, and have not heard from him in the past three weeks. His crew has also been a no show for that same amount of time.
I am not angry, just very disappointed. I truly expected more from Rudy as he appeared to be a conscientous provider. I repeatedly told Rudy I was willng to pay more for his services, so long as the work was completed in the manner I wanted.

I was sent on a 3-month long overseas business trip just before the annual LA City brush clearance inspections were due, so I didn't have time to do the work like I planned. The previous year, it took me two exhausting weekends to cover the whole yard.
I had my house sitter (a good trusted friend) contact three landscapers. Based on interviews, he said Rudy was clearly the best of the three. Following the work, my house sitter said, and quot;Rudy's crew kicked a__. I'm pleased as punch, and it isn't even my property.and quot; When I came back from my trip, the yard looked great. Now, I have Rudy's crew coming by twice a month to keep the yard nice and tidy.

It took 2 weeks for Rudy to get to me, we discussed what I wanted done - ivy trimmed on a lattice wall, leak in faucet repaired, sprinkler timer repaired with leaks around pvc fixed, clean up weeds by street, weeds in cracks, etc. I have natives and told him to leave the fallen leaves - he was not happy with the bark mulch but we agreed that he would start work and his price seemed fair. I have no lawn. I have no idea when he first did the work but I think it was 2 weeks later and was never certain when he or his crew would show up. The ivy was trimmed, driveway and parkway weeded and cleaned. Unfortunately much of my mulch was gone as well as some natives which looked dead but weren't. I haven't received a bill, have had to communicate by text and am generally frustrated with the lack of communication. I texted about the leaks but they are not yet fixed. I texted asking for a bill but it still hasn't come. He might be great for mow and blow and general cleanup but if you have anything other than grass, shrubs, trees and general cleanup I don't think you will be happy.

Rudy showed up on time for the intial meeting 5 wks ago and changed his Monday schedule in order to fit us in for service on that day every other week. I only walked the yard with him on the first visit, and never had to repeat what we would like to see maintained and I have to tell you, the yards never looked better! I would recommend him to anyone needing a gardener.

Rudy was great.

Rudy answered my inquiry quickly and came by to check out the property. Gave me a quote and time that were very reasonable. But when I asked him to schedule an earlier date he rearranged things to help out. When I came home on the day of the appointment , he had made great progress. All debris was gone and as I walked around I realized he had done many of the things my wife and I had discussed but were never spoken of with him. Next step is to fix our ailing Sprinkler system and start planting. After years of poor service from other gardeners I am very happy to say that Rudy is my guy.

Rudy came out the same day to give me an estimate to clear a bunch of weeds at the top terrace of my backyard. He offered to do it for a very reasonable price. He showed up on time to do the work. Very professional nice guy. Finished the job in a few hours and cleaned and removed all the brush. Would definitely hire him again. You can rely on Rudy!

Very good work for $20 per week. He is a nice guy who is eazy to talk to and text and he is happy to except Paypal instead of cash.

I was looking for someone to just cut my lawn and pick it up. I have a large front yard with a ton of weeds. I didnt need any special care, or tree, or bush trimming. I just needed a simple cut. After calling around and getting a few astronomical quotes I found Rudy who was quick to meet me at the house and listened to what I needed. He quickly said no problem, gave me a great price and said he could be back that same day to complete the job. He was very professional and personable. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Rudy is very friendly, responds quickly to requests, and is very inexpensive. However, the quality of the work is mediocre (at best) and the once-a-month request has turned into once-every-5-or-6-weeks. I only pay per visit, so no problem there, but my yard looks pretty shabby well before his crew shows up. I will upgrade him if he responds favorably to my concerns in the future.

I needed someone to clean up the VERY overgrown front and back yard of a
home before putting it on the market to sell. I left a message for rudy
and he returned my call that day. He drove to the property the next day
and gave me an estimate. Then we decided to use him and he did the job 2
days later and did a great job! He cut back all the hedges, mowed the
lawns, got rid of all the debris, and more. He did exactly what I needed
someone to do and for a reasonable price. I'll call him again.

Overall, Rudy is dependable, conscientious, honest and trustworthy. Twelve years of very satisfactory service speaks for itself.

I have had a very busy work schedule all summer and the yard work had fell to the wayside. As I told Rudy, I would and quot;hang my headand quot; in shame when I saw the neighbors. Everything is now trimmed and cleaned up. I am going to go with a Monthly service so I don't have to dodge the neighbors again.

Rudy stopped by and gave us an estimate a week before. He was the best price for what we needed. He and his assistant were here on time and cut down the trees, they hauled all cuttings and trash. He also came back for the wood that was left behind. Rudy is a very nice man and made sure that the job was completed to our satisfaction. Will hire again

We had just moved into our new house and one of the sprinkler heads was not working- leaking water and we did not know how to work the irrigation system. Rudy answered my urgent call and stopped by to take a look at what the problem was. He found a loose wire, replaced a sprinkler head and programmed and explained the irrigation system to me all at no cost!

Rudy and his workers showed up promptly at 8 am. It was important for them to be on time as had they been late, it would have made ME late for work. He took me on a walking tour of the property and explained to me what he was going to do. I already had a written estimate, and I was pleased to see he had a roadmap for getting somewhat extensive work done on my property laid out. I approved his plan and left for work. When I returned home last night, I was amazed at the transformation!
