He said it would probably need a more substantial repair than he could carry out. He was right, and I had to bring in someone else to do a more complete job six months later. But the simple patching job he did was fairly expensive as well as ineffective.

After applying the stop leak product (Henry's 208R) to the areas pointed out to me and in his report, my roof has stopped leaking. I have also touched up a number of other areas that he pointed out had potential to begin leaking.

Excellent in that Mark identified 6 areas of potential concern and after temporarily fixing them, no rain leaked in for the first time in 11 years.  I am now sending Mark the estimates I have received from 3 roofers, to get his opinion on which one is covering all the items I need to have done, adequately.  I trust him completely.  It's taken 11 years, at least 5 other failed contractors and over $7000 in failed repairs to get to this point.  I wish I had found Mark 11 years ago.  Cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone with a mystery rain leak.

Mark's work is outstanding. As mentioned he was able to diagnose and fix a roof leak already unsuccessfully addressed by two previous contractors. Mark was always punctual, cleaned up after each visit, and did exactly what he said he would do. After the job was complete he called twice after it rained to insure that the leak was fixed; I have never had a contractor follow-up in this way. His cost was fair, always well within his estimate. I would gladly recommend and use Mark .

Mark (RAIN LEAK SPECIALISTS) is hands down the most capable and professional contractor we have ever worked with. For 14 years, we have spent well over a hundred-thousand dollars chasing leaks in our home that have eluded the diagnosis and repair efforts of many contractors of differing disciplines. They repaired what wasn't broken and/or failed to find the source of our leaks over and over. A never ending nightmare.
Then, we found Mark. Hoping against hope, we called. Firstly, he showed up at our home on time (that never happens). In 4 hours, he systematically pinpointed our problems and consulted us on proper repairs. In addition he helped us to put temporary measures in place to get us through the very next torrential storm that dumped 2 1/2 inches in one night. For the first time in 14 years, we survived a rainy night without it raining inside as well.
We found Mark to be accurate in his diagnosis, friendly, honest and a great pleasure to work with.  He is a true professional, with excellent follow through, a man who clearly takes pride in his craft that shows in his work.

Bottom line.  If you have a leak in your home and don?t know where its coming from or how to fix it?Mark is your man.  
After the last round of thunderstorms we got a few leaks inside the house.   I didn?t want to risk the possibility of future water damage so I started looking for someone to identify the source and tell us how to fix.  
I?m a believer in finding the right person for the job.  I didn?t want my handyman or GC to do a patch job and end up with bigger problem down the road.  Called Mark and got same day response.  With a name like Rain Leak Specialists, I figured he?d know a thing or two about leaks and wasn?t disappointed.  Mark understands rain leaks the way a fireman knows fire.  He is knowledgeable and identified the source of our leaks, then took the time to explain the issues and gave us our options.
We were lucky that our repairs weren't too big, so Mark was willing to handle it.  You can tell he takes pride in his work.  He took care to make sure the repairs looked like they were part of the original installation.

We have a flat gravel rooftop and had gotten other estimates for more elaborate and expensive methods to fix our leak. They also likely would not have worked or even created additional problems.
Then we found Mark. Mark showed up on right time and fixed our leak using what became obvious as the correct technique. 
He really knows his stuff and we even got a rain storm to test it out 2 days later. It worked like a charm. We would use Mark again in the future.

We know he's not the and quot;cheapestand quot; guy, but he certainly is worth every penny! He was extremely professional and we felt comfortable that we had someone with so much experience.
