PowerUp Electric did an extensive rewiring of my parent's 1914 home. The wiring was a real mess with a mix old and new wiring. Gabriel, Martin, and Frank were wonderful. We really appreciated their attention to every detail, their follow-up, and expertise! Prior to hiring PowerUp, we had a few other electricians come out to see what was needed, but we did not feel comfortable with their knowledge of how to extensively rewire the home. Frank came out and was very thorough in his evaluation of the current wiring and what was needed to bring the wiring up-to-date. Gabriel worked with us to give us a very competitive price and was extremely accommodating in his working with all the other contractors onsite: pluming, plaster repair, flooring, framers, etc at the same time. We felt that the whole team, Gabriel, Martin, and Frank worked well together and quickly performed all the work needed and helped us make critical decisions with regard to recommended work. At the very end, we had a very old candelabra which had sentimental value which was shorted out. Martin took the candelabra back to the shop and completely fixed it! We are very pleased with PowerUp Electric and would recommend them for any project! We certainly will hire them again if we need any further electrical work!

Everything went great. Gabriel Chan pulled permit and frank and crew went to work. Frank attention to detail was outstanding, They patched all holes and where very clean in there work. The job passed inspection and I am very happy with there work.

It went great! Repeatedly! Gabriel (the founder) Martin (his son) and the next Gabriel (Martin’s son) are real pros. They stick to the price they quote, arrive with enough people/parts/equipment to do the job, protect your floors/furniture, and don’t leave until everything is working as promised. We started with small jobs, to see how reliable they were. But we moved to bigger jobs. And while our entire 70+ year old house needed rewiring, they humor us and let us do a room or two at a time. I wouldn't call anyone else!

We loved working w Frank and Valdimir. Frank was especially knowledgable and could also perform the work too; both people skills and maintenance ability. I was impressed that Vladimir was able to enter our shallow attic and confirm that the ceiling mounting box was connected to a joist properly. I have been using Power Up to handle all my electrical needs for over 4 years. Gabe has always completed all projects on time and as estimated, and he would let me know if there were any possible contingencies with the job. Frank and crew rewired a house for me at a fair price and were very detail with the work and helped identify what need to be to upgraded. Also, they installed a new house meter panel for me and handled all the inspections, with the permitted job being approved and finalized with SCE energizing the panel. Anytime I have electrical problems with my rental units I call Gabe and it’s taken care asap and at a fair price. I would highly recommend PowerUp, because they can be trusted to do a good job at a fair price.

Power Up completed an electrical job. Communication was clear, estimate was reasonable, and the team finished the project earlier than stated. All workers were professional during entire project and I will hire them again for any electrical work.

I was very, very happy with the service & work provided by Power Up Electric. I had to get an electric charger installed in the garage, which also required the installation of new electrical pipes, etc through concrete. Gabriel was very responsive after I initially called and gave a very thorough and fair estimate. They completed the work on time and went above and beyond (even cleaning out a bunch of leaves and spiderwebs from my garage and putting all the dirt/plants back that they had to dig up). I will definitely use them as my go-to electricians.

They were great! I had used them before but when a bathroom switch smelled like it was burning I called them right away. Martin came over in 30 minutes, figured out the problem and fixed it. Later I had them replace the ceiling heater/fan. And after that he replaced the transformer for my garden lights. I was impressed how quickly he responded to my electrical emergency. On the other appointments, he showed up on time, did the work efficiently, and cleaned up after the repair. In all cases the prices were very reasonable. I give them my highest recommendation.

They took more than two days to respond. When they did they said the cost would be much more than the $250 deal. They also said they were very busy and would contact me in three days. I never heard back from them. Very unprofessional.

For obvious reasons, we waited 3 months before writing this review. Started with a small job - replacing/repair conduit/wiring from house to garage, then replacing an electrical panel, finally rewiring the entire home. Each project was completed on time as specified. Power Up handled the entire permit and inspection process where needed without any delay. The estimates provided by Gabriel and Franklin were clear and detailed; both are extremely knowledgeable and offered excellent explanation and recommendations throughout the contracted work. The crew lead by Franklin, worked well together and efficiently with excellent cleanup at the end of each day. They were on time each morning for the 3 separate projects. The prices were not the lowest, but were competitive and reasonable for the efficiency and professionalism they offered. Power Up is highly recommended and we would definitely use them again. If you need an electrician, do have them give you an estimate.

Gabriel came to do a not so straight forward smart switch installation at our new home, they were professional, fast, courteous and thorough - we were absolutely thrilled with the results and the dedication shown by the team. The Power Up guys were outstanding and very straight forward with us on their pricing and what we should expect. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone for electrical work.

They were unsuccessful, but it wasn't their fault. When I called, Gabriel warned me that ceiling fan lighting kits are notoriously tricky to fix and he didn't recommend that I spend the money for them to try, but I insisted... and the guys he sent (almost immediately, by the way), Frank and Miguel were great, some of the most professional guys I've had in my house, but they couldn't fix the defective unit. As soon as the ceiling fan company sends me a new fan (it was still under warranty), I'm calling Power Up Electric to send Frank back out to install it.
