I spent $125 on that work. They were prompt, professional, honest and courteous. I give them high marks.

I left a voicemail and 2 emails regarding an urgent repair job and never received any sort of reply.

The whole repair experience was great. I called on Saturday and left a message, the outgoing message was current, and let me know when I could expect a call back AND when they had availability in the next couple days. This was a very helpful and reassuring touch. My call was returned on Sunday. They correctly diagnosed the problem over the phone, and could have come out that day to fix, but due to my schedule we made an appointment for Monday. They came on Monday, and quickly fixed the washer for a very reasonable price. Very friendly and professional, they will be my first call for future appliance repair needs, I highly recommend.

Instead of lying to me and replacing stuff that just needed adjusting, the guy from pauls repair fixed our noisy machine and charged me only labor. What a great experience. The peron was super friendly and trustworthy, had a great experience and will use again.

Yesterday, my washer broke - spin cycle wouldn't work. Motor was running but the basket was spinning. Did a bit of online research and came to they hypothesis it was the coupler. Called Sears - next scheduled appt available was two weeks away. Forget it. Searched Angie; called Paul's as first option. Said he could be out here the next day. Showed up perfectly ontime; came to the same conclusion (coupler); fixed it within a half hour. Problem completely solved within 24 hours of original problem. And at the same price as Sears would have been.

My dryer started making a strange noise and smelled like something was burning up inside. I called Paul's to see if someone could come out and look at the dryer. During the call, the gentleman asked me some questions about the dryer and had me perform a few simple diagnostics. He was able to determine that the engine would need to be replaced and advised me that the best course of action was to buy a new dryer, as replacing the motor would be around $300. I was happy that I didn't have to pay to have someone come to my house and tell me the same thing. Paul's seems like a fair and honest company, and I would call them for repairs in the future.

I checked Angie's list and found Paul's. David answered my call and identified the probable cause over the phone (lid sensor) and was able to come to the house within 2 hours to fix the problem. He took care of the problem and let me pay by credit card the next day after he had completed the work. I can't say enough good things about this fantastic service!

I'm very pleased -- he could have made a service call (and charged me a fee for it) and then (very likely) told me the same thing -- it can't be repaired, better to buy a new one..

I don't remember the price being anything unreasonable but can't remember how much I paid. Recommend him highly!

Great service, I would definitely use them again. Not sure what the going rate is for serive calls but considering the part was only $45, it seems over $100 per hour is excessive, but I could be wrong. Regardless, I would definitely use them again as they were prompt, professional and came out the same day.

immediate reply to my phone call, by the owner David.....he was friendly, helpful and polite.....he provided an estimate "range" on the phone and we agreed time for repair ......Oscar, the technician, arrived 10 minutes early, repaired the machine, explained the cause of the problem and left the laundary area spotless...then he charged me the lowest price quoted and i was so impressed i forgot to request the 5% discount offered to Angie's List customers !!!!!! this was the perfect transaction where everything went exactly as promised and i, as the client was 100% happy with the quality of work and cost.....a very rare situation in Los Angeles

It went well. I called David almost two weeks prior when I couldn't find out the reason a fairly new dryer was taking so long to dry clothes. David was very helpful and suggested some things for me to try myself before I had him come out for the service call. I wasn't able to fix the problem so a few days later I called him to request service. He sent someone out right away (during a time that was convenient for my tenant). The repair tech was able to quickly diagnose and repair the problem.

This company provides excellent service. I called them in the afternoon and they had a technician there within an hour. They quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it within 30 min. While the dryer was open, he went ahead and cleaned out some lint built up. He also shortened a vent pipe for us so that the dryer would work more efficiently. It works great now! Also, the price was exactly what they had estimated over the phone. I would definitely hire them again.

One day all of our clothes started smelling like they had been in a horrible forest fire. I called Paul's Washer and Dryer and explained what was happening. He indicated he thought it was due to lint buildup that had started smoldering. He scheduled someone to come that day. They had an issue and they had to reschedule for the next morning -but it was handled very well. They came the next morning, fixed everything up and everything worked perfectly. Super-nice guys and I was totally happy with their work.

They were good at scheduling appointments. They came within the timeframe that they quoted. I felt that they were honest with me. They gave me a discount on their services since they were unable to fix the problem. Their workers were professional and easy to understand.
