Description of Work: I called Maggy Maid Burbank three times and spoke to a answering machine. The fourth time I finally contacted a real person. When I said I was interested in a one-time cleaning as opposed to am ongoing service contract he seemed to lose interest. He was going to call back with a time when someone could come over and give me an estimate. A week later, I'm still waiting.

Description of Work: My daughter moved into an apartment with 3 roomates, college students, who didn't seem to have cleaned their apartment for the entire ten months they were there! I found Maggie's Maids on Angie's list, and called and spoke with Laura. Laura answered all of my annoying questions about the price, the details, etc. She sent a manager to look over the apartment, and give a price. The cleaners came the next day, on time for their appointment, and did an amazing job. I had to write this review because I just received a text telling me 'The apartment looks a thougsand times better and the smell is gone!!!' Hopefully the three months she stays there she will do keep it clean ! Thank you Angie's list :-)

Description of Work: basic apartment clean. I had surgery 2 months ago so all was dusty and needed a good general clean. this is a small 2 bedroom 1 bath apartment. I am a basically clean person, I kept the bathroom clean for obvious reasons and it had recently been re-tiled, so there is little to be done in this room yet it took one woman 1 hour! They cleaned most of what I requested, but left things out. Did not clean baseboards (I have hardwood floors so all the dust gathers at the baseboards!). Cleaned items at the front of the shelves but didn't dust the items in the back. I would not use them again. Should have taken 2 people 2 hours, my 2 people stayed for 4 and the place was just OK, not sparkling. Mirrors were not washed, windows certainly were not touched. For 2 people and 1500 sq. feet, hard to justify four hours for a very mediocre job .

Description of Work: My house had been undergoing massive remodeling, and was filthy. Alex and Tanya came and were amazing.

Description of Work: Maggy Maid, cleaned my townhouse, two levels 2 bdr & 2 bath, approx 1500sq ft in the requested time frame of 2.0 hrs. The Crew was very professional, friendly, the lead spoke English well and they were both very thorough. After I walked them through the property they were very efficient at working as a team. One cleaned upstairs the other downstairs. I was very impressed with their attention to detail and efficient work ethic. While the price is quite a bit higher that my prior housekeeper, I believe I received a good value as my previous housekeeper was a sole proprietor and didn’t have the overhead of a business. My other housekeeper injured herself and is out of commission for a while; I needed to identify a new Housekeeper or service immediately. Maggy Maid immediately responded to my inquiry through Angies List and scheduled my service. I am very pleased and decided to hire Maggy Maid as my monthly service provider. The Customer Service Rep I dealt with is Laura and she was very willing to accommodate my unique needs. In my opinion, customizing the service for the customer is the ultimate sign of excellence from any service provider. I am happy I chose them and look forward to a long-term relationship.

Description of Work: Two hours of genearl housecleaning

Description of Work: Maggy Maid quickly replied to my e-mail inquiry for a quote to clean my home. I did have to provide details about the home 2x (once when prompted on their web site and again when they replied to my e-mail.) Quote was $30/hr/person with a minimum of 2 people for 2 hours. They estimated my house would take 4-5 hours for 2 people (about right). However, the quote was $240- $500. I couldn't figure out how 5 hours x $60/hour = $500. I asked them to breakdown the calculation for me. I received no reply to my e-mail after 2 days so I figured there was something not straight up about their price quote. I chose a different service. (Updated, 6/14/10) I posted a report of my experience trying to get clarification of a price quote on 4-15-10. I assigned the company an "F". In the last month, different folks from Maggy Maid, including Eli, have contacted me to apologize for their non responsiveness and ask that I give them another try. They were VERY upset about my experience sending me flowers and offering a discount for their oversight. I am impressed with how this company went above & beyond to make up for this and have agreed to use their services within the next 30 days.

Description of Work: We moved out of the apartment and they cleaned for 4 hours and washed the carpets. We'd been there almost 7 years so there was quite a bit to do once all of the furniture was removed.

Description of Work: Just as we moved into an apartment, we wanted them to come in and do a cleaning for us to have a fresh start. They also cleaned up the apartment that we had moved out of.

Description of Work: I had two cleaners come clean my apartment today from Maggy Maids. They charge $50 per hour for the two cleaners. So I paid them $100 for 2 hours. I asked them to focus their efforts on the two bathrooms and the kitchen. Then if they had any time left, I asked them to clean my floors and do dusthing. Both ladies were friendly and attentive. They did exactly what I asked them to do. They tried to be as quiet as possible since I was working in my office while they were cleaning. They showed up on time and left after exactly 2 hours. I am going to have them come back twice per month because I was happy with their service and felt that I got my money's worth. Keep in mind that if you call Maggy Maids, they will tell you that it will be 3 to 4 hours to clean a 2 bedroom/2 bathroom place. I told them that I do not want my entire place cleaned, and that I only want help cleaning the bathrooms and the kitchen and I only want 2 hours of work every two weeks. They were able to accomodate my request, and did a good job. So I will give them my repeat/recurring business.

Description of Work: Maggy Maid is so friendly and easy to book. The cleaners show up on time and are very hard working. They bring all of their own cleaning supplies, so I do not have to lift a finger. They do a deep cleaning of my apartment and they also wash, dry, fold and put away my clothes.
