I cannot say enough to express how pleased we are. Cain was a real blessing. His sense of style and taste is unmatched. His attention to detail impressive, and his demeanor and constant presence was amazing. I don't normally speak so enthusiastically about anything, but I'm confident this recommendation is rock solid. Since I've relied on Angie's List in the past to help me choose contractors, I wanted to make sure I gave something back. We had a very specific budget we had to follow. Cain made sure he stayed within those parameters. When he did want to spend a little more he would show us what he would like and then the less expensive alternative. He did NOT raise the prices on the furniture to make a buck and all of his construction and remodeling was well within the norm. He is a licensed contractor so he actually got up in the attic and down in the crawlspace to make sure our electrical wiring and plumbing were safe. He repaired things for free on a regular basis. Anytime we asked him to fix something small, he would do it immediately and never forgot those small requests. He also did everything to code. He even advised us not to do certain things that would cost us down the line or would not add value to the house. Overall, if you're looking for a designer, Cain Modern is one of the best. We interviewed four designers and his estimate was lower and included more. We couldn't be happier.
