Everything went fine and they did a good job. The job was professional.

When I received the parts they were here promptly with service caller advising me one hour before arrival. They were quick, clean and fixed an ongoing problem. They are really honest and prices are very reasonable. They return calls immediately and service is excellent. I would definitely use them again and recommend them highly!

The Family Plumber timely phoned and left a message in response to my email. He provided a quote for a 40 gallon water heater (nothing about the tank less option) and asked me to return his call. Unfortunately my water heater failed that morning and I used the plumber who scheduled an appointment for a quote that day. The Family Plumber was about 28% less expensive than the plumber I used, but my wife and I felt it was worth the premium to get the water heater fixed that day. The gentleman who called was very polite and explained they were new to working with clients through email. I am also in sales. My only recommendation is to control the sale more, rather than leave it to me to call you back, leave the message, then follow up with a phone call with a appointment. After the water heater failed, the selection criteria changed from most reasonably priced to the most convenient. Just due to timing, it is unlikely he would have gotten the job. I'll call you again.

They did an excellent job in all aspects and were very good at accomodating my schedule. Although my job took two trips to complete (I had to repalce drywall before setting the vanity) and I had two different plumbers show up from Family Plumber, both did an excellent job.

Anthony, was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable and we immediately felt confident in his ability to help us with our problem. He informed us of everything that he was going to do, told us the approximate cost and got to work and finished the work quickly and without incident. We felt that we were dealing with an honest and experienced technician and were thrilled that our problem did not turn out to be a major expense with any unneccesary repair work. We were completely happy with Anthony and the work that he performed. The Family Plumber is fortunate to have Anthony as an employee.

They arrived on time to both of my appointments. They also called and let me know their schedule. When they arrived the first time, they gave me an estimate, and informed me that water was under the house, and it would need to be drained and dried out before they could complete the work. They set up an appointment with another company to do that work. A week later, they came back and completed the work. The price was almost exactly as they had estimated. Both plumbers, Anthony and Joshua were extremely professional, and did excellent work. They completely cleaned everything up after they finished thir work.

Mike was ontime and very competent. He was great. I would recommend them to anyone.

Anthony arrived within the appointment window and was friendly and professional. He had not installed one of these units before but was able to quickly assess what needed to be done. He removed an old unit and installed the new one in under an hour and a half. The new unit came from the factory with the hoses crossed so it took a bit longer to fix their problem. He was very neat as he worked and left everything clean when he was finished. Before he left I asked for his advise on a problem in the bathroom. He quickly fixed one problem with a part from his truck at no extra charge. I'll have him back soon to fix the leaky shower faucets.

These guys were the best and we will use them from now on if ever we need the help.. They saved us money by not having to retile the bathroom like so many companies insisted we do in order for the toilet to be fitted and workable. We had the bathroom used a storage closet...because we refused to retile...Family Plumber was clean and not often would I write about a service, but this company has what it takes to keep me as a customer and one to recommend for anyone looking to have a professional come in and lift the burden without a proce tag to go with it. We saved as much in not retiling the bathroom as it cost us for the whole project..They are good for those that apreciate the core beliefs of the company..

Both kitchen and bathroom faucets had seen better days so it was time to replace them. I bought new faucets at a home improvement store and called The Family Plumber to install them based on the excellent reviews provided by other Angie's List members. The initial call to the office for the estimate went well. They gave me an estimate but was told a more accurate estimate would be provided after talking to one of their technicians. They called me within several hours with the revised estimate. Office was responsive and professional. I received calls the day before the appointment to remind me of the appointment and a call before the technician, Anthony came out to the house. Anthony was knowledgeable and professional. Work was completed in about 2 hours. Kept the work area clean and cleaned up after work was completed. I would have given them a higher grade on pricing but I noticed that they charged me a higher price to replace the kitchen faucet than another member said she paid for the same work as mentioned on her review of The Family Plumber. I was told they charged a standard rate for replacing faucets and not by their hourly rate. I also believe I was not given the 5% discount for being an Angie's List member as advertised even though I mentioned it to the people in the office, as well as, to Anthony. Based on other quotes I received, The Family Plumber was not the cheapest or the most expensive. Despite the higher pricing and not getting the member discount, overall experience was very good. I will likely use them again but will want more clarity on their pricing and request the discount if still available.

It was great. The plumber was able to get to our house early - we were notified by a phone call from their office that he would be there in 20 min. Anthony completed the job in timely fashion and kept the area neat and clean. The company told me there was a $10 discount coupon on their website so I printed that out. They will calculate the best price for you using their $10 coupon or the 5% senior or Angie's List discount, whichever is greater. The job actually cost less than I was quoted over the phone and I was extremely pleased with the work.

I called them and they had someone there to answer the phone (important IMO). She had someone get back to me after checking their schedule. We scheduled the appointment (they actually would have come the night before but I had a doctor appointment). They did reshedule, but only after asking if it was alright, which it was. That appointement was for 8am and Rick arrived right on time. He llistened to my description and verified his diagnosis and then proceeded to work with the snake through the cleanout (replaced the plug, too) and pulled back roots and wipes (not mine!). He put down pads and left the bathroom clean and in good order, we also tested out using the shower and the washer. He was pleasant and friendly and I'd recommend this company to anyone..

A great experience. Anthony is a very together person and his company seems to be ready for top performance... the truck was awesome... a step van with plumbing parts in bins, all organized and clean. Come to think of it, Anthony was that too... organized and clean. they were the third "angie's list" company I called. the first had their "technician" call me and he sounded like a reluctant slacker. all he talked about was how much it was going to cost me. (this was a saturday afternoon) the second sounded good but I was out of his area.

He had to install new piping due to poor location from previous work performed, but did not charge extra. He ran the new dishwasher through two cycles to ensure there were no leaks and drain worked properly.

I received a phone call because he was running behind schedule. Also got a 2nd call when he was headed my way. Work got done with professionalism (efficient). The plumber is the owner; a conscientious worker.

Their responsiveness is fantastic. If they don't answer someone will call me right back. They are always out the same day or the next day. I have been using their services for the last three years now. They will also refer others for related services.

When he looked at the valve in the shower, he said that he would have to break through the wall to fix the problem if he could not unscrew the valve. His price was much more than I wanted to pay and, since contacting another plumber who said he would not have to break through the wall to fix the problem, I thought the Family Plumber was not worth the job.

I went in and talked to them. I spoke with the plumber's wife. They did the water heater and one bathroom faucet and set the toilet on the first visit. We then had the kitchen faucet replaced. They found the kitchen faucet was frozen. They fixed that first. I called and the plumber's wife was very knowledgeable and set an appointment and their time was quite accurate. I received very cheerful, clean service. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very good. They were courteous and explained everything that was going on. They were really knowledgeable and seemed really trustworthy with everything that went on.

They did a great job on all items. We've hired them several times, and their work is always top notch. They are very polite, trustworthy people. Once they installed an earthquake safety valve on our gas meter and did a great job on that. They've fixed broken faucets for us, bathroom fixtures, etc. I wish all contractors were as good as these guys.
